Bob Evans Restaurant

Incorrect order; overcooked, tough sausage links; undercooked hash browns; and inadequate WiFi. Manager did take off 20% but still not returning.

Our breakfasts this morning were really not good. Scrambled eggs tasted like stale grill grease, and the hash browns were worse and inedible. The sausage patty was not fresh and it was overcooked. When we checked out the cashier asked if everything was all right, and I said it wasn’t up to standard. She asked if I’d like to speak to the manager, and I told her that I didn’t; they knew what was coming out of the kitchen. Really disgraceful meals.

Great service. Good people. Decent food.
Can’t ask more from a chain.
The wait staff was super kind and as a person with a disability, it is a lot and of help when people can go the extra mile to make sure I’m taken care of.
Just passing through, but I’d be sure to stop at this location if I drive by again!

Used to have good food and service. Ordered a salad. It came in a soup bull minus two ingrediants and with maybe an ounce of chicken for 8 dollars. I used to be a tegular, but I won’t be back.

This is probably the worst place to go eat went there for breakfast this morning Placed our orders sat there over 30 minutes then the waitress came over to us said all I’m sorry I lost your ticket can you give me order again you got to be kidding me you won’t find us there ever again

Food sucks. Don’t eat here. And the waiter never asked if we liked it. He must have known better.

I have to agree with the bad ratings for service at this particular Bob Evans. They are severely understaffed. I was there primetime (i.e. Sunday brunch), and they easily needed 5+ more staff.
Food was fine. Our waitress tried hard enough, and all of the staff there looked like they were run ragged.
Parking was plentiful at least.

As far as the food goes, it’s fair. I’ve eaten at worse Bob Evans. What I dislike most about this one is that you hear all the chatter behind the counter & the staff here is pretty disagreeable.

Good experience with husband, baby and family when visiting in Lewisburg. Staff were knowledgable and prompt. Food was quick and hot, and exactly what you would expect from a Bob Evans. Perfectly cooked eggs, delicious crepes. Portions were a good size. Staff very pleasant and restaurant was clean. It was a busy Saturday morning but they kept the coffee coming and the pace rolling.

Look, it’s a casual family dining chain restaurant. I haven’t been to many, but this is definitely one of the best. Sure, the flavors are all about salt and sugar. But the food is always perfect, I mean, eerily so. A fried egg looks exactly like some idealized illustration of a fried egg. And a salad never has a brown-​edged or wilted leaf on the plate. Once, my deep-​fried shrimp were too fried, but that’s the only misstep I can think of. The food is so cheap, it does frighten me — I once had three courses for $ 9.95.
The service here has always been really good. The staff actually seem happy and proud of their work. I don’t care for the upselling. But the service is so good, I willingly look past it. I also appreciate the well-​oiled machine this business is, and I like that the top two guys at corporate are African American.
If the better New American-​type cafes in Lewisburg are closed — and they are rather erratic — I can come to Bob Evans and feel comfortable eating alone, reading the paper.
Food 5 + ambiance 4 + value 9 + service 8 = overall 5.8 /​10 (decent)

intro:greeted coldly watiress was slow to get our drinks and get us set up. wifi wasn’t working.
order 1: (mine): chicken alfredo. it tasted like the smell of that Elmer’s white school glue! it was gross. got a change to a «portabella» steak that ended up making me sick a couple hours later and I threw up the meal when I got home. (as we ate here on the return tripe from Virginia Beach and I live in Parkersburg, WV) food rating ¹⁄₅
service:Michelle was the shift leader as presented on her nametag… she WAS NOT SHIFT LEADER MATERIAL. She was very apathetic and inattentive, she let our plates pile up and the same with other table she was assigned to. She acted afraid to take our menus and looked unconfident in herself. She also was very slow with refills, she did not sem to know the menus well, and her attitude wasn’t very welcoming. We did get the order switched fine, however the resolution wasn’t satisfactory, as I still got sick. service rating ¹⁄₅

It’s the average Bob Evans Restaurant. Parking is nice. Service is usually average. Food is also average. It usually stays pretty clean. It’s a nice Bob’s. It’s right off of interstate 64 so it’s quick for those that are traveling.
