With an adjoining gay bar that shares a smoking patio, the hostility and homophobia that permeate that establishment whose bartenders refused to diffuse a situation of a group of Irish homophobes objecting to me dancing in a corner, assuming I was trying to get their attention and preceding to threaten to «beat my ass.» In this day and age, with the biggest mass shooting occurring a week before and since they adjoin a gay establishment, it baffles me this still occurs. What is even worse is that a stable lesbian patron tried to diffuse the situation who didn’t witness it but said that they are a private establishment and to respect that. This situation required the bartender at Crossings, who handled the situation with the utmost professionalism, had to lock the door from their establishment. Mind you I witnessed two straight people practically fornicating on Crossings patio which turned into a threesome with another girl and then another guy joined as well. My response was love is love and good for them which garnered applause from all four. Now the same should be reciprocated for the other team!!!

I have been to this little Irish pub quite a few times. It is an okay place to stop in for a drink when you are not in a hurry or when they are not crowded. It is a very small and award place for seating and layout. I do like the fact they have Guiness on tap. That is actually their saving grace in my opinion. They have a few outdoor tables out on the side walk which helps with some of the spillover. The staff are hit or miss at times. Sometimes they are great and friendly. Other times you seem like you are bothering them trying to order a drink. Not the best job for those folks in my eyes. Oh well. It is very cute on the inside and usually clean. Tends to get backed up and packed quickly. It is good enough to stop in for a drink, but nothing I would go out of my way for.

Whoever the girl is that works on Monday nights and many other weeknights here keeps giving away free shots to her boyfriend every day. I’ve been here multiple times in last two weeks and he has been given at least three shots and multiple beers every day. This is unfair to both the public and the bar owners. Her employment should be terminated immediately.

Bar tenders never acknowledged us and took a shot with the people ordering so we left.

My absolute favorite bar in Lexington. An authentic Irish bar, great beer selection, friendly staff, always clean. And by far the best Guinness in town. Yum yum.

Bar tenders are uninterested in serving. The beer is not properly chilled. The place smells like urine. In the up and coming Lexington drinking market this would be the last place I would go.

Been here a couple of times for a pub crawl and it is a neat little place to visit from time to time. The staff is hit and miss some are attentive while others are busy talking to other patrons. Be prepared to walk parking is tough to find if you drive.

Great Genuine Irish bar. During a weekend visit to Lexington, My husband & I had the pleasure of spending some time at Molly Brooke’s this past Saturday evening. Great service by the bartender and good craic with the regulars. Highly recommend Molly Brooke’s to anyone looking for relaxing pint and good company.

As far as Irish Pubs, this is the only one I would consider in Lexington. McCarthy’s on the weekends is a joke(full of douches and underage ppl) and O’Neils and Shamrocks are not Irish besides their name. Molly Brookes has great draft beer selection(including my favorite, Smithicks) and the bartenders are good at their jobs. Sometimes they have an old Irishman playing guitar and it is awesome! I definitely recommend this spot for a number of reasons, including awesome location.

Nice downtown Irish bar. Could use some more seating though. Gets crowded on the weekends.

Molly’s is the best! Awesome bartenders and the live music is great! I love love love their specialty drinks, like the Scrum and Paddy’s Arse. Delicious! This place is always hopping on the weekends, although more seating would be great because standing for hours in heels sucks.

Woohoo, another«Irish Pub.» I know one of the bartenders is Australian, another I’ve heard with an «Irish» accent one minute and speaking plain old Amurkin the next. I mean I don’t expect everybody working at an Irish bar to actually be Irish, but no need to pretend. Mostly though, Molly’s tends to close the bar arbitrarily early and then gets rude when you’re surprised 20 minutes before last call that you can’t go back inside from the patio because«we’re closing,» and then an argument ensues because they still have your credit card at the bar. The music is usually too loud and, as it’s been said, the prices are high(by Lexington standards), the place is small and the set up is just plain awkward.

Stopped here for a quick drink on a Tuesday afternoon. Seemed like a standard Irish pub, though cleaner and a bit newer looking than most I’ve been to. Drink prices were a bit cheaper than I was expecting. Our bartender, Ashley, was super-friendly and gave us a great recommendation for lunch down the street. She also gave us a lot of great suggestions for dinner in the area. Would definitely come back here for the service, though not sure how crowded it gets at night and on busier days.

A fairly young local pub, Molly Brooke’s has an strong Irish pub theme with Guiness draft and assorted Irish drink specials. Unfortunately, seating is inadequate and there is too much empty space between the bar and the single row of small high tables. It’s an awkward set up. Drinks are grossly overpriced and nothing special, not to mention that the bar is always inaccessible. I’m not a fan.
