I used to work nearby and get their italian sandwich like 2 times a week, sooo good, their deli meat is delicious.

Outstanding deli meats and specialty items. I have requested a few items that I enjoy while in Italy and continue the experience upon return thanks to Claudio and his team!

If you want freshly made Italian lunch food, it’s tough to find anything more authentic in the area. I’ve gone in while the owner was in the kitchen making his fresh mozarella, and he let us into the kitchen to taste test it. I find mozzarella to be a little bland, but this was certainly among the best mozzarella I’ve eaten. I’ve only had a few subs here, & I stick to the Italian. Everything is so flavorful and well done. The only complaint I have is that the bread is often a little tough for my taste. If flavor is your thing this is definitely a place for you to try. In addition to all of the lunch sandwich options, they have other Italian food stuffs around the store. Conveniently located in Lexington center, about a block from Mass Ave, on Waltham Street. It’s definitely worth a try for those that like Italian sandwiches.

Great cuts of meats and fine sandwiches. The homemade pesto sauce is excellent when available. Other Italian goodies — pastas, olive oil, biscotti, coffees are well selected. We understand that the place will be closing down: Lexington’s loss. I will miss this deli.

Best Italian sub I have ever had. Far better than any regular sub shop or deli. Yes, you may wait on the phone but who cares? It’s take out. Get over yourself, you’re not important. Invest the time and go here.

I crave their sandwiches. Crusty bread, just the right amount of filling, and all the Italian treats like hots, stuffed peppers, etc. They have a great selection of cheeses, meats, and groceries. I only wish they were open on Monday’s, as I always seem to want to go there when they are closed. It is worth the wait and the staff are really nice!

If you are not in a huge hurry this place is worth the wait. The ingredients that go in to the food here are really fresh and authentic and the bread is really good too, similar to the panino bread I would have in Rome. They are closed on Mondays which can be a bummer if you get an itch that only one of their thickly layered pannini will scratch. Mille grazie TI! Buon Appetito.

Great spot in Lexington. They will give you delicious italian sandwiches and food to go. Didn’t really see any spot to eat inside though so we wound up taking our sandwiches into the park. Great selection but they need some more staff on the weekends. We waited forever to order our sandwich because a lot of people in front of us were ordering tons(well maybe not tons, pounds!) of deli meat and that took a lot of time. Yummy fresh sandwiches but if you go on the weekend expect to wait. We also tried their arancini, it was OK but not the best I’ve had I think it might be best to stick to the sandwiches.

Amazing meatballs and amazing sauce. I have yet to try more here, but I plan to. This shop is adorable, authentic, and a perfect place to stop before cooking an Italian meal. The staff is very friendly. Their meats look fresh. Def give it a try!

I really want to like this place. Their Italian sub is great but the service soo bad. A call ahead sub takes 25 minutes(at 11:30 in the morning). If you show up there to order your screwed. One time i showed up early and I heard the guy say«I told him 30 minutes». All I was doing was paying for the sub in advance– i just got there quicker than i thought. The last straw was when I called today at 1:30 I told the woman I wanted a large Italian with everything and her response was«sure can you hold for a minute I need to get some help». I waited for a minute and hung up. What more information could she possibly need? Ther are other places around just as good with far better service

Best sandwiches in a ten mile radius. The bread is real Italian bread with a nice crisp crust. They use fresh ingredients and their subs are delicious. If you like meatball subs, this place has one of the best around! Staff is friendly and they sell canned tomatoes, pasta, ground coffee, and in house sauces and meals to go.

Seriously I called in for my sub twenty minutes before I went to pick it up and still waited twenty more, the woman behind the counter kept me on hold for five minutes before I could even place my order. There is absolutely so concern for the customers. Basically I wasted my entire break waiting for a sandwich. If you want to collect your social security before you eat then by all means go there. The food is good but they should seriously think about hiring some help or maybe just not except orders over the phone. Either way I’m never going back customer service is just as important to me as the quality of the food.

Fresh, authentic, and great service! When my office was located in Lexington, I came here at least once a week with a group of colleagues. The people here treat you like family… to the point where they remember your sandwich! The portions are generous and stuffed with fresh ingredients(they slice everything right in front of you!). Since our office moved 20 min North, I have a hard time getting here, but it’s worth the trip! And the prices? Extremely FAIR!

Another one of my must haves whenever I come back home to Lexington. It’s tucked away in a little corner, and they don’t have seating, but it’s worth a trip out! The sandwiches aren’t mind-blowingly massive(still more food than a subway foot-long though), but quality and authenticity of the subs override any concerns about size. I almost always get the classic Italian sub. Couple different kinds of salted meats, banana bell peppers, onions, different kinds of sliced cheeses. Nom. I could eat any of those ingredients on their own, but together they combine into one of my all time favorites. Also, it’s run by a super super nice Italian family.

Tutto Italiano is a first class establishment in every way possible. First and foremost, their made-to-order sandwiches are to die for. The caprese is a thing of glory. With in-house, daily-made fresh mozzarella, freshly baked bread, fresh basil and ripe tomatoes, you simply cannot find a better version of this Italian staple(even in Boston’s North End). Claudio and his staff are amazingly friendly and gracious. I feel so welcomed every time I step in the store. Finally, the store itself is immaculate and always freshly stocked with a variety of imported Italian foods, baked goods, cheeses, sodas, etc. The prices are totally fair. Getting back to that caprese, for $ 6.50 I get a sandwich that I can make two meals out of. Why people opt to go to Panera when this place is a stone’s throw from Lexington center is beyond me. Next time you are in Lexington Center, do yourself a favor and grab a sandwich(and some Italian treats) from Tutto. You’ll thank me later.

When the Tutto Italiano on Fleet St. in the North End closed it was a sad day. Lucky for me, another Tutto Italiano opened up in my hometown. At first I was skeptical about this different location. I had grown accustomed to Joe making the best Italian sub on Fleet St. and I was sure that another location, though Tutto, would not compare. I was wrong. Tutto has several locations(Hyde Park, Lakeville, Wellesley) and while it is a great Italian specialty store I can only speak for the Italian sub because that’s all I’ve tried. If a good Italian sub floats your boat then check this place out. Fresh bread(baked by them, for them I believe), cold cuts sliced when you order your sandwich(very important), fresh lettuce and tomato, little shake of salt and pepper, pepperoncini and some oregano. Done. Delicious. p. s. Joe Locilento of the Tutto Italiano that used to be on Fleet St. now works at DePasquale’s Homemade Pasta Shoppe on Cross St. If you remember him you should go by and say hello.
