This place is the best. A pizza for every kind of palate. I highly suggest this place any day of the week.

This is the best pizza in Lexington. It doesn’t have much dine in space but it’s great for delivery. We also go In for a quick easy lunch from time to time. I like the Greek salad and my husband loves the lasagna.

If they got pizza to you on time, maybe it would taste good. Tonight was my last straw. Ordered online, pizza supposed to be delivered by 6:10. Still not delivered by 6:20. Called and they said they were so busy, we’d have pizza within 15 more minutes. Little kids pretty hungry by now. At 6:50 call back, they say«Oops. We didn’t have the lasagna you ordered. And the pizza will be another hour.» WHAT!!! I give up on you Upper Crust. Never again.

I do not like this place, as in I don’t like the food. My family likes it but I guess I am different. When I was a kid I got sick, maybe I just had the throwing up virus. The tomato sauce is not good tasting, there is not enough cheese and it is a very small pizza. If you like things like that then we are opposite but I do know fans of this place so you can totally try it.

Good not great pizza. Enjoyable but not memorable. One of my kids who loves pizza actually said he didn’t like the taste of the sauce and stopped eating. In fairness, my other kid ate as much as I did. Service was good, place was clean although bathroom toilet needs some attention — the top was replaced with a non-matching top. Just needs to be done right.

Okay — I’m self-admittedly a pizza snob raised in NYC and NJ. If you are not one, then disregard my review. If you are looking for pizza similar to what we have back home — then read on. I updated my review to just talk about the quality of their pizza. It is good pizza but the crust is way too thin. A large pizza is equivalent to 3 slices of any other pizza. The pizza is severely overpriced. You have to spend a lot of money to feed a bunch of people. The Uncommon is superb though.

The best pizzas I have ever had. Thin crust and absolutely delicious toppings. My fav is the Big Steve’s Buffalo and Swellesley.

In Lexington on business, I asked where’s the best place to get a good pizza? I was directed to Upper Crust. Now having always wanted to try Upper Crust, I was psyched to try it. What a letdown. There was nothing special about this pie. Some folks love the crust, I found it more like pizza on a pita or flatbread. I prefer the dough that rises. This crust was thin, dense, and chewy. The cheese, mozzarella, I would presume, was tasteless. The sauce, unremarkable. And something had a garlicky taste, not sure what it was because I didn’t order anything that would account for it. All in all, a big disappointment at every level. Apparently some folks think this is great pizza — but it sure ain’t my cuppa tea. I won’t be returning. $ 18 bucks for a regular pizza with 3 toppings. I dig Joe Pizza in West Medford. Same price, but one tasty pie, fabulous sauce and dough.

Don’t believe the hype of this place. I have gluten allergies and understand that its a little extra to prepare gluten free pizza, but holy hell is it outrageously overpriced here! Like its simply PIZZA, its not some fancy feast at the Ritz Carlton. I was so disappointed after hearing good things about this place. And to top it off, everybody is guilt tripped in the beginning to leave a tip if you’re paying with a charge card. Haha really!!! The prices by itself wont encourage anyone to leave tips. Don’t eat here, unless you’re some yuppie snob or upper class family.

I got 2 slices of pepperoni for a quick supper. The pizza has a chewy, thin crust, plenty of spicy pepperoni. It was fine, but nothing special. The small eating area is classy looking, but the chairs and benches aren’t very comfortable. Service was quick. I might come back next time I just want something fast…

Love me the upper crust, very tasty pizza but thinly sliced so you gotta get a whole one. I’ve heard some shady rumors about this place though so be warned.

We went here on memorial day weekend for a quick dinner. Had a great selection of wine and some good beers. The waiter we had was super friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. Told us we could do half and half on the pie, we got half meatball and half white spinach, both very tasty! Honestly I don’t know which was better, the service or the pizza, will definitely be back

The best spinach calzone I’ve had in quite some time! You can also tell all the ingredients are fresh. Definitely coming back. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for some dank eats.

Best place to get pizza in the Lexington area. With numerous choices for pies and an option to make your own this place is perfect. Their slice game is equally on point with the regular cheese and pepperoni slices, but also a slice of the month and day. Not a pizza fan? Don’t worry they have a number of other things including delicious lasagna. The service is impeccable, a huge improvement from the old management and ownership. The staff now is friendly, happy and courteous. And yes of corse they have an amazing selection of wines and beer!

I’m a fan. Creativity is the name of the game here, traditional pizza, not it. The Pizza I ordered was topped with bacon, jalapenos and pineapple(The Uncommon). Their crust is thin, super thin. I’ve ordered several times and the pizzas have always been consistently made. If you like something a little different, and are up for an adventure in your pizza eating experience then this place hits the spot. For you traditionalist out there, move along(or just order a calzone).

My first time back since the new management took over. I immediately noticed that hardly anyone was cooking pizza on a Sunday, which is traditionally a very big day in that business. We ordered and waited ANDWAITED. I got up and inquired and they were backed up-of course they were backed up-why have so little staff on? She didn’t say they were shorthanded, big difference! In any event, pizza came and my hopes and dreams were left lying on the floor… Yuck. NOTHING even close to the original Upper Crust quality. 2STARSONLYFORALLTHEKIDSWORKINGTHERE___VERYVERYNICE I will not return, I was warned about this but had to see for myself.

Love all Upper Crusts! Been to a few and just the best thin crust. As a NYer in my opinion upper crust is the best or at least my fav. Added plus is the beer. Ppl do complain about the price but I find there pizza sizes are larger than the average small or large, more slices and bigger boxes, so in my head it’s worth it. Eat in or pick up, you want this fresh and hot. Delivery just takes too long.

Three stars is fitting. This Upper Crust location serves up decent pizza, a far cry from our experience with their Brookline location, which consistently served over-priced burnt pizza(*shameless plug* Otto across the street is a much better pizza/dining option). On this particular evening I had the small John«Chief» Bucyk and my wife had the small Harvard St. Though there’s really nothing unique about the pizza or service, expect to pay a premium. All in damage(incl. Harpoon IPA, Honest Tea, apple juice, and tip): $ 49.90. Not exactly a cheap date night, but then again, someone has to pay for co-owner Jordan Tobins’ legal bills and his hard-partying lifestyle.

I came back here once the restaurant opened under new management in hopes that it would redeem itself. What prompted me to return, you ask? The $ 5 off coupon that came in the mail. I gladly put my order in for a large State House pizza, and was quoted a pickup time of half an hour at 6:30PM on a Friday evening. I had my doubts about this. Hoping to be proven wrong, I arrived for my pickup and lo-and-behold, it was ready! The cashier opened the box to show me the condition of the pizza, and I happily paid and left. Now, I only live 6 minutes away from the shop. By the time I got home, the pizza was cold. I should have known that something was off when the pizza wasn’t emitting much heat from the box, but I was so excited to get my order within 5 minutes of arriving that I didn’t even notice the temperature anomaly. At least cold pizza still tasted good(although I much prefer mine hot).
