I cannot tell you how friendly the staffs are. Since I traveled from Arizona and have no luck in finding any swim wear during fall season, we decided to stop by this local store to see if I could find any surfing wear. I was able to find a pair of short as well as a beautiful black top that fits me very well. These items were on sales too. I wouldn’t have been able to find it so quickly without the help of the friendly staffs here. She was very patience with us and helped us to change our clothes into different sizes all over the store. I was impressed with the level of customer service that they offer at this location. If you are in town to visit and are looking for swim wear, I highly recommend you to come here.

We went to get a bite to eat and ended up stopping by Déjà vu. I guess it was their anniversary party or something and they had a bunch of stuff going on and a huge sale. We sang some girl named Jenny Happy Birthday and did a bean bagt toss to get a free customized trucker hat. Which I love, it was so much fun. There is a real sense of community there and it was one of the highlights of my trip. You can’t find surf shops like this in California. Definitely coming back on my next trip!

Customer Service sucks
Had to ask for a dressing room, was not greeted at the door.
They forgot to discount one of my items how can they forget that lol odd .I told them and they end up discouting it.
I only spent 46.82 $
On a pretty cute dress and some flip flops. Im happy with my purchase.

One of the better surf shops on Kauai. They have a pretty good variety of stuff for men, women, and children. They also carry a lot of surf sports gear and accessories. I think in general surf brands are a little expensive but they always have some kind of special going on.
Their staff is also super friendly and helpful and not overbearing.

Lots of stuff. Cute stuff. Most of the brand name stuff is pricey, but that’s standard for surf wear. There was a sale going on today… got a cheap t-​shirt for the fiancé. Bonus. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Friendly and helpful sales associates here, along with a variety of surf gear and apparel. I went a little cray cray with my purchases at this store during my week-​long visit to Kauai: Dakine Waterproof backpack, g-​shock watch, swim fins, Triad 42″ bodyboard, leash, Roxy towel, flip flops, sunglasses, and a few tees and board shorts :-x

I live here 3 months out of the year. Not rich but have a small place on the north shore. Prices are high, but they have a good selection of all things connected with water sports (from boogie boards to board shorts to flip flops). Shop there when I have to. But you can find better prices.

Love all the Deja Vu stores — and especially love the new one in Poipu area. The service is top-​notch and selection is wonderful. The young people working in the shops know their merchandise and are always helpful when I am trying to chose something for a young person. Prices are reasonable and their sales are outstanding!

service is friendly and helpful when you need it.
they have a big variety of different brands and items. pretty much, anything you’re looking for. if you are looking for something in particular, you can contact them via facebook or twitter and they’ll let you know if they have it in stock in their stores. heck, they’d probably even order it for you if you asked!

I ran in after I placed a large order at Jamba Juice to price rash guard shirts, children and adults. The prices here were reasonable considering we are land locked. The prices on the south part of the island were easily twice as much as Deja Vu. I felt the staff was very helpful, knew exactly what I was looking for, friendly and checked me out in a quick yet professional way.

Had some time to do a little shopping this morning at the Kukui Grove Center on Kauai and dropped into a couple of the stores, including the surf shop Deja Vu.
I felt that they had a decent selection of surf wear from surf shorts to slippers and bags (for Kauai), but found some of the items a little pricey. I was also a bit irritated that the same teenaged sales girls kept coming over to us asking if we needed some help while we were looking through their shirt selection. Do they work on commission?
I don’t see myself returning anytime soon.

déjà vu carries a nice selection of surfwear. shopping is quite limited on kauai, so this store has one of your bigger selections. it does cost more here than shopping on oahu, but i guess stores can afford to charge more when there isn’t much competition.
