Plano, TX
What you have to understand about this place is that it is more traditional Mexican food than Tex-​Mex. They do have some Tex-​Mex on the menu, but the traditional items are what they do really well. I’ve been here several times for both breakfast and dinner. The service is always great and the food is really good. We’re big fans of the Juevos Divorciados and Puerco Guiso.

The hot sauce was similar to red water. The cheese dip reminded me of yellow water. The chicken fajitas weren’t bad until I ran out of tortillas and they charged for more. I did like that their was no wait on a Saturday. But now I know why.

Moved to Little elm a few months ago and we are limited on restaurants here so we stopped by. The food was awful, I couldn’t finish my meal. the salsa tasted like tomato juice. Would never go back.

Not a fan. The food was extremely bland. The TV was up so loud I could barely hear my spouse. The waitress was also too busy flirting with the bus boy to refill my drink… We should have just gone to Taco Bell.

Drove past this place many time on my way to a job site, decided to give it a chance. Well let’s just say my husband and I were extremely unsatisfied. We had the fajitas for two, precook meat thrown in with fresh cooked veggies (no!!), salsa hot no taste, queso tasted like Velveeta, beans bland, rice not so much. My husband is a culinary chief, he said the preparation of the food was not correct, the food was very bland. The right seasoning were not there. The only good thing I can say is the ice tea was good. From a scale of 0 – 10 I give it a 1. And over priced!

I have eaten here many times and each time it has been excellent. The food is extremely similar to San Antonio style texmex. In my opinion Los is the best around DFW for quality, value, and taste. Also the breakfast tacos can’t be beat.

I had the chicken chimichanga. It had chicken and beans inside. Not really that great of a flavor to it, it was bland. My husband had the three enchilada plate. The chicken looked like it came out of a can. It was also very bland. Rice wasn’t very flavorful, either. Salsa had a nice spicy kick, but was very watery. Best thing about the meal was the chips and queso. Not worth $ 27.

Really yummy food, we love to come here. The staff is always really friendly and the service is pretty quick. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner and the location is pretty calm and relaxed. Love their menudo and huevos machacados!

We love this place. We mostly like it bc not only is the food good, but it’s never crowded and the service is always great and quick. I recommend their fajita’s or their enchilada’s. They are SO good! They keep the chips and salsa coming as well! We’ve been numerous times, and even with a large group! Love it here!

Not for people who think Tex-​Mex is all there is.
I eat here regular. Reminds me of the great ma & pa restaurant in Laredo or the south side of San Antonio. Not just beans, rice and chicken 12 different ways.
I haven’t had a House or Grill Special that I didn’t like. The homemade corn tortillas are perfect.
Service is very friendly.

The quality of the food is super cheap. Everything is frozen meat, canned beans … About the same quality and taste as a frozen entrée. Too bad because they are really close.

Came into Los Jalapeños today for lunch and was fairly impressed. Our waitress was polite, nice, and happy to be serving. Their chips and salsa tasted average, however the «Mom’s Dip» was delicious! The sour cream chicken enchiladas were very tasty due to the sour cream sauce they used. The chicken needed a little more seasoning. Their rice was awesome! Perfect place for lunch, reasonably priced, and the sweet/​caring waitresses made my visit quite enjoyable!

My husband and I went there the other day. We order the queso and it was disgusting. It lacked flavor. I swear it was just melted velveeta. Then i order the flameado with chorizo and my husband order the estabans plate. On my flameado, The melted cheese was so hard that i couldnt eat it. My husband plate made him sick. We will not be back. However, the service was great.

Great service! Food was good. Really liked the fajitas and breakfast migas for dinner. Wish they cleaned up the place a bit more. Enjoyed the patio but could use some update and cleaning. Fountain looks like it might work with a little maintenance. There was a bunch of debris off the side of the patio and really needed a good sweeping. But we’ll come bk for the great service! :)

Went there again the other day after my wife got sick from eating here a few years ago. I wasn’t impressed and have not changed my mind about the food. It was obviously old and left over. Nothing fresh about anything. From the chips that I think I got what was left from the last customers to the ingredients… just yucky. Sorry. Gross.

Wasn’t too impressed with their food. The chips didn’t taste fresh and the queso wasn’t the best. The service was good but the food was blah. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone
