Think they changed owners. Used to be the best donuts around, very light and always fresh. Now they are the typical heavy donuts.

I went in and asked for a cup of coffee. First of all when I asked she just stood there and stared at me. Then she said she didnt have any coffee. This will be the last time I visit sonny donuts. I mean whats really going on with a donut place with no coffee. Unbelievable.

I visited this local mom-​n-​pop donut shop on a recent visit in the Dallas Metro-​plex. Despite the yummy donuts they did not participate in the annual National Donut day (June 1st). 2.5 stars…

We visit Sonny Donuts with the kids about twice a month. The staff there is always very friendly and the donuts taste great. The kids really like that they always throw in a handful of donut holes with every order.
