PLACEISAWESOME! it’s definitely my new favorite spot. Its delicious and cheap. I got the shrimp fire and wings and the mussel roulette. I had a great experience with great customer service. Definitely coming back here.

My boyfriend and I loved this place! While quite small with about 7 tables or so, it had a nice rustic-cool ambiance. We ordered a pound of the shrimp and mussels in the medium-spice category, which was spicy enough. We also had the Korean appetizer and the ribs, which were both very good. I wish I could have tried the crawfish, but the food we ordered was more than enough.

Definitely not impressed with this place. A VERY lazy take on cajun food w/a Korean flair or whatever you wanna call it. Ordering shrimp. I understand eating crawfish from the shell, or mussels, but WHOLE completely unpeeled shrimp? With the head still on? Seriously? I mean, by the time you’re done peeling the shrimp all the sauce is gone… cause you peeled it away. The sauce was definitely not very spicy, it was medium at best and didn’t have much flavor. The wings — very meh. Had the crispy habanero and was not impressed at all. They were not spicy, but extremely salty. The service was incredibly lack luster, and we were the ONLY table there. Every time I pass by this place it looked empty, should have went with my gut and not wasted my money here. Unless they make some monumental changes, I don’t see this place lasting another year.

Awesome Food, Awesome Service, Awesome Bathroom. Chicken wings were delicious, and the ribs were 100% fall of the bone. If you are hungry definitely check this place out.

Craving for«The Boil» in LES but didn’t want to go so far. Itz Fire came up on a Seamless search(had a gift certificate) and looked pretty legit. This review is just purely the food from take out. It is definitely no «the boil» with their sauce not menu items, but the food here is pretty good. Prices are bit higher for my normal dining budget, so I’m not sure if I would come here often but probably time to time. We(2) got a 1lb bag of shrimp — no fire and another with medium fire($ 14 per lb). The medium fire is actually more spicy than the Boil’s medium but pretty decent! We also got the ginger glaze wings(5 piece for $ 7). The wings were very flavorful! I would say the wings here are the stars, instead of the shrimp. Was very very full after eating a lb of shrimp and 2 wings.

This is a cute restaurant on the corner of northern Blvd! We came in on a Saturday night around 9 and we were the only customers. I didn’t mind that at all since the waiter only has to focus on us. We checked in and got a free soda on Unilocal!I also had a groupon too so everything was super cheap!!! Score! They also give you free popcorn but it was kinda stale but whatever. We ordered the half shrimp/mussels, ribs, and crispy haberaro wings. Everything was delicious but we ask for medium spicy which was really really spicy. After a while, everything just tasted spicy. Next time I’ll ask for mild! Overall, cute place & good food! We’ll def be back. And I hope this place doesn’t get pack. so that we’ll always have the restaurant all to ourselves :)

Found this place accidentally while cruising down Northern Blvd. Great food. Great service. Great ambiance. We were surprised that it seemed to be more of a take-out place when we were there last year, but had an excellent dining experience. It wasn’t too busy for dine-in, but the traffic to the«bar» for take-out was brisk. We will be back this winter, for sure. There are so many great places to eat so close to home, we almost forgot about this place, until we saw on Facebook that friends were there. Reminded us to visit again!

I’ve had the wings here 3 times this month. They’re really really good. If you’re looking for the deep fried buffalo wings, this is not it. These are tender, a little crispy, but nice and spicy wings. The spicy popcorn is also delicious. It’s a cozy cool neighborhood place for appetizers(I didn’t try their dinner menu). The staff is super friendly. I liked it so much that I bought a few Groupon specials for them!

I thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered from the wings with the side of corn and BBQ ribs to all 3 of the boils. This was actually my first time eating cajun/korean fushion, so I have nothing to compare too but I thought the food quality was good. The fire sauce(medium) which we ordered on all of the boils had some kick. The ribs were awesome: tender and the sauce was tasty… I even just put some on rice and ate it. Enjoy!

First time there had a pleasant experience. The waiter/cashier is very sweet n polite. A spotless restaurant. I ordered 6 habanero wings and 4 ginger soy wings, both are crispy and juicy at the same time. The habanero ones rock! Freshly made corn side salads.

«Itz up and it’s GOOD!» Like a game winning field goal to end a football game, Itz delivers up some lip smacking righteous Cajun Goodness! Whoever decided to fuse Cajun and Korean flavors together. Let me tell you something you are a Genius! The flavors are out of bounds delicious! The restaurant is small and cozy and probably can seat 25 people or so. The menu is pretty simple and service here is top notch! We opted for the pound of shrimp boil seasoned with their signature«Fire sauce» the shrimp was perfectly sized head and all. We decided not to go with the hotter«Itz Fire» since we were not sure on the level of spiciness to expect so we chickened out and took it down a notch. We also ordered the corn, wings and pork ribs. As a bonus when you check in on Unilocal, claim your free soft drink when you order any main dish, SWEET! The shrimp boil was OMG delicious! The sauce was savory, rich and packed with a serious kick of Cajun spices and flavor! The sauce was smooth and not greasy. I took my first bite and a few minutes later the sweat started to build on my forehead as that nice burn slowly permeated my lips, mouth and taste buds, feel and taste the burn baby, AWESOME! The corn was sweet and delicious. The pork ribs were fall off the bone tender and arrived at our table swimming in a sweet and savory tomato based sauce served with a plate of white rice. The ginger soy wings were delicious! Nice sized wings arrived at our table served with a little cold corn salad. Parking for this place can be a little tricky, but worth the hassle. When it comes to Cajun, «Itz the real deal»!!!

How did I live here for 7 years and not know about this place? The restaurant popped up as a delivery option on Seamless recently, and I decided to give the crawfish a try despite my horrific experiences with crawfish in NYC(and even California). The best crawfish I ever had was in Texas, and it’s impossible to beat. The great reviews convinced me to give it a shot, though $ 17/lb is 3x the cost of crawfish in TX. But it’s New York, what do you expect? I have to say I was really impressed. I love spicy(and usually order the spiciest option) but felt the medium fire was quite spicy already. ITZ Fire may be too spicy to appreciate the buttery, garlicky Cajun sauce. The crawfish were really large(!!), and I probably only had 2 small ones in my bag. They were obviously frozen so if you are a true crawfish enthusiast, you won’t find that buttery deliciousness when you suck the head. Still awesome though! The potatoes tasted odd. I don’t know how else to describe them but they’d be better off with just olive oil/salt/pepper than whatever seasoning was used. Or maybe just offer fries. I trashed the potatoes. Regardless, I highly recommend this place. It’s worth a trip from Manhattan!

«THISGIRLISONFIYAHHHHHHH!!!» Holy Moly!, The Spicy Sauce does Kick in my mouth! To try this place out, We ordered Half Pound of Mussels, and half pound of Shrimp Spicy(not Itz Fire spicy). Also ordered 10 pcs of Fried Chicken Soy and Garlic Style. Before food comes, the Staff handed us a Cajun style Popcorn, I was licking my fingers, and it was spicy to starts off. Minutes later, the Waiter came over and handed us a bag loaded with Seafood and the chicken Wings. There’s no other Creole place around the area, this place has a kick with Creole /Korean Style. Which is good. It was FINGERLICKINGGOOD. Expect to eat messy, Gloves and a big, and lots and LOTS of wet napkin. — This place is small, Can fit up to 30 People — This place have limited menu. They ran out of Ribs when I went on a Sunday and Crawfish was running low, so it was limited to the public. — They have Happy hour every day 4−7pm They usually fill a red Plastic cup). $ 4-$ 6 a cup. — I used the Groupon deal to save about $ 12.00 for a dinner of 2 People. NO Desserts available. So don’t leave that spot for sweets.

Excellent place for a shrimp, mussel or crawfish boil. I tried their hottest sauce with half a pound of shrimp and mussels. It was delicious! Be warned that the Itz Fire sauce is extremely hot. I love the hot extreme, so this was perfect for me but if you are not used to hotness, do not attempt it. The sauce is excellent. Nice amount of heat and flavor especially in the fire sauce. The wings in my opinion are excellent. I especially love their habanero wing. It’s cooked excellently. The taste very homemade. I will definitely be a regular here!

Had a groupon for it, so decided to go out of my typical area to try this place. This place is located at the corner of an intersection(excuse the lack of detail but I’m not familiar with Little Neck whatsoever) and is smaller than I imagined, maybe 5 tables max? When I walked in on a weekday night, only half the tables were full. Being from California, I’ve had good Asian Cajun seafood(Boiling Crab and its similar knockoffs) so I was somewhat disappointed by their sauce. I know it’s probably one of the few restaurants in Long Island that offer that sort of cuisine, so hats off to them for doing so. But personally, their sauce was too oily-spicy for my liking(too much chili oil?). I like my sauce with a lot of garlic and the Itz Fire sauce just fell a bit flat in comparison. I usually order a side of rice to soak up the sauce, but I couldn’t even finish it because the sauce just got too blandly spicy. Another point worth mentioning is the fact they only offer three types of seafood for DIY peeling: crawfish, shrimp and mussels. Wish they had more variety but I understand why they wouldn’t have more, as there probably isn’t too much demand of Cajun seafood around here. Itz Fire looks like a Korean-run restaurant, so it comes to no surprise that they also offered a selection of Korean style foods like soy-ginger chicken wings and dukkboki(sp?). We also ordered a side of the spring rolls(the non-spicy one, I forgot the name of it) and I liked it. The sauce, which I believe they described as a sweet apple sauce, was disappointing and honestly just tasted like regular egg roll sauce. But the spring roll was thinly crisped and the filling equally satisfying. I gave this place 3 stars just because around the area, I’m sure they have no competition. But their sauce is not close to what I’ve had before-the one restaurant I’ve seen come close to imitating the Boiling Crab sauce on the east coast is The Boil in the city, but that’s mad far from the Long Island area. Also, I wish there were more vegetable offerings, whether as sides or even just salads, that would be helpful in balancing out what would be a pretty oil/fat-loaded meal. Service was as good as what you can expect from one person manning the entire front of the restaurant. Overall, Itz Fire is not the best, but I guess around the area, it’s the best that you can get. Its seafood and sauce is enough to satisfy your deepest cravings for Asian Cajun, but considering how I live a lot closer to the city than I do to Little Neck, unfortunately I do not think I will be back.

Really good boils. I was pretty surprised, actually. I’d say it’s comparable to The Boil down in Chinatown minus the drive and horrendous parking and two hour wait. There’s no parking lot here but after 7pm all of northern blvd is your parking lot. The crawfish and shrimp are pretty on point. The mussels were really good too. The Itz Fire sauce is really good if you like your stuff with a decent amount of kick. The regular Fire sauce is a bit toned down but pretty flavorful. Their sides aren’t as extensive as The Boil’s but they are worth trying. Definitely try the habanero wings. I wish they would have more beers on tap and more appetizers like some of the other boil places, but overall our party was pretty happy with the experience.

I checked out this new place with an interesting idea I’ve never heard of «Korean Cajun.» The fried chicken(6 pieces for $ 7) was tender and reasonably crispy. The habanero really offered a nice kick along with the a slightly salty seasoning. I could have used a dipping sauce with it. I would avoid the Bacono Wraps. Chopped Chicken Breast packed into a Jalapeño Pepper, Wrapped in Bacon. For $ 7, you only get three thumb-sized or mini hot dog sized bites. A decent place so far for the wings that I’ve tried.
