Favorite Cuts

Favorite Cuts is probably the best salon around. I’ve had my hair cut there four times and each time I left feeling like I got a very professional and expensive cut. BTW, the cuts are inexpensive. The lady, Zahra, who cuts my hair is very friendly and kind. She makes you feel very comfortable and is into the finest details when it comes to cuts. I can’t say enough good about my haircuts and treatment.

What an experience! Needless to say, I will not be returning.
I haven’t had my hair cut in over 3 years and my hair colored in a salon in over 2, since I’ve become a new mom.
Zahra (sp), was the lady that runs the salon and apparently it’s inside Walmart. Super akward. It’s right in the front where everyone is paying so they are just staring at you while you look horrible. LOL
When I first arrived I was told I had to wait half an hour for her to eat her dinner. Then the consultation was over 30 min. while I felt like I was argued with about how I wanted my hair.
I was convinced and sold on the partial highlight ar half price which took a super long time and she talked the entire time. Then she stopped to talk to other customers while foil hung from my scalp.
As I then sit under the heat lamp, I was there for so long the foils got too hot and burned my scalp.
When she took them out, she didn’t even wash my hair, apparently just used conditioner.
By this point I have been there for 2 HOURS!!! Took another 30 min to cut my hair. Didn’t leave until 9:45 at night.
She was kinda nice. But I will never do that again.

Good thing is I didn’t have to decide the hair style. Zahra was professional and confident about what suites me and it was great indeed… would definitely recommend…

Zahra is an amazing stylist, her years of experience styling in Europe will be reflected in your increased confidence from a perfect cut and color. You will also get a ton of compliments so be ready! I’ve tried salons all over the Bay Area including very notable names in San Francisco, Los Gatos, and Pleasanton. Zahra is the best as she truly understands how hair and proper coloring techniques compliment your face.

I had a wonderful experience. I had Sara do my eyebrows. I had never had them done since my generation was the «Brook Shields EyeBrow Look». But WOW! NOW MY EYES POP AND LOOK SO FRESH. I LOVE IT! Thanks Sara, Laurie

Hands down, the best experience I’ve ever had!!! I’ve been to many salons in bay area, but this place is just tops them all. Clean-​Modern-​Beautiful salon, Best techniques, and great work! All in all I would highly recommend this place. Hundred percent satisfied. Love her work, I will absolutely continue to follow her.

Zahra is very professional and nice. I work next door and came over because my hair on the side was out of control. Usually I cut my hair short. Now that my hair was longer I was thinking that it would be cool to style it somehow, but I didn’t know what to do exactly. I was in the chair just to get my haircut the old way, but Zahra showed me pictures of what I could do. I’m open to trying things, so she told me about a European style. So I tried, and it’s pretty cool. Had compliments from a few people already and it’s only been one day.

I love the idea of Walmart having a beauty shop!
I went in and had my hair cut by Sasha. She is very noligible about styling hair.
I recommend trying out this salon. Better to make appt. walk ins are welcome!
