Premises are not too clean and the employees are not too bright. Ordered pizza and waited and waited then finally had to ASK them where my pizza was. It had been put in a box and placed in the warmer instead of being given to me hot. My $ 28 pizza was barely warm, what a waste of time and money. It was noon and no other customers in the store. These ppl have their heads up their butts.

This place gets 3 stars because it does not live up to its name i.e. all the tables here have sharp edges and I don’t think there was a single round table. Just kidding and I know it was a bad joke … Anyway, this review is for the lunch buffet, and would give 3.5 stars if possible, but since 4 means«I’m a fan», which I think I am not yet(but could if they fix the below mentioned issues), so gave 3 stars. Looking at the negative reviews for both this place and Mountain Mike’s lunch buffet was wondering which one to go to. I am a vegetarian so that was another concern whether there would be some good vegetarian options. Finally chose Round Table because the person on the phone gave me an impression that if I wanted I could request for something if I did not like something in the buffet. The buffet did not have much option for vegetarians: just one type of vegetarian pizza, garlic twist and cinnamon twist. Plus there was the salad bar, which was not that bad as I had imagined reading the negative reviews. Even though not much options for vegetarians, the pizzas were fresh. Another thing to note is that their lunch buffet time window is very small, from 11:30AM to 1:30PM and I reached here around 12:30PM. An hour was good enough to eat. One thing I did not like which makes me give a 3 star as opposed to a 4 star is they don’t place the pizza as per the display label. One time they put pizza with bacon on the same tray as vegetarian pizza. Another time they put some finely chopped bacon pizza under the vegetarian label. I took that bacon pizza(since it looked like vegetarian) and then noticed they brought another vegetarian pizza and kept it under some other non-veg pizza label. I asked whether this was vegetarian and the person said yes, then what about the one under vegetarian, the person said that has some bacon. I had to throw the bacon pizza from my plate and then take the vegetarian pizza, So the pizza was good but if they were consistent in placing the pizzas in their respective places it would be a great help.

Don’t bother ordering extra toppings! They won’t add them, but will take your money. When you address the fact that the additional toppings we’re not added they will argue with you!

Last night my husband and I dined at the Round Table on E Stanley Blvd in Livermore. I was MORE than disappointed with our service. We originally were going to go to Mountain Mikes, but they were busy so we decided to go to Round Table instead. They weren’t very busy at all. They had a buffet, pizza, drink and salad bar special, for only $ 11+ per person. Because the pizza looked like it had a sat awhile, we decided to order a small pizza and 2 salad bars and two sodas, which ended up costing us over $ 40. After waiting over 40 minutes for our pizza to come to the table, in a restaurant with virtually no one there, we wnt to the counter to see what was taking so long. The pizza was pulled out of a warmer and given to us. The person checking said she didn’t know why it was sitting there that she was at lunch. So we ended up pay twice as much as we had to, in hopes of getting hot pizza and walked away with luke warm pizza instead. I didn’t even eat any and was highly disappointed. We will definitely stick out the wait at Mountain Mike’s next time. Their pizza is always fresh and hot and never disapoints.

This location is the better of two in Livermore. The lunch buffet is the only way to go, as individual pizzas for dinner are expensive for the quality. This location has private areas in the back for small parties. The room is $ 25 per hour for two hours, which is waived if your party spends more than $ 100. The maximum occupancy of a room is 40 people.

Good pizza, slightly overpriced unless you have a coupon, good place for large groups that want a private room, good for kids

Worst service ever… waited my 20 minute wait time only to be given the WRONG pizza. Then was told that it would be another 9 minutes… Finnally got pizza, and had a real hard time telling where the pizza started and the box ended… but since I ordered a thin crust… I just ate the box and threw the pizza away… it was a pretty expensive box. Plus…just a word of advise… Don’t train the new cashier during rush hour…

Wasn’t the prettiest round table location and wasn’t very busy, I guess you can guess why. The pizza was good, just took a long time for the place being so empty. My beer was flat. I thought it was a little over priced…

1 star for the employee«Christian». Today, my neice threw a pizza party for her son, for the last day of school. We called over a week in advance to reserve one of the 2 banquet rooms. The lady on the phone said we would have to show up and leave on time,(that’s understandable), we’d have to spend a minimum of $ 100(that’s ok. I didn’t see anything anywhere online or elsewhere about it but whatever), we’d have to call asap if we needed to cancel for staffing purposes(again, understandable). We arrived 10 minutes early, to order pizza so our guests wouldn’t be waiting too long for food, upon arriving, there were 2 elderly women off to the side and another woman I guess picking up an order. I looked around and both banquet rooms were filled with people. I was confused, figured maybe they’d have put a notice saying«reserved» or something… after about 5 minutes a lady walked up and asked what I wanted, I asked about the reservation, she seemed to have no idea what I was talking about and said someone would be out to help me shortly. We stood at the counter for 20 minutes before we could place an order, I saw poor Christian running around trying to do his best, the female employee making pizza and 2 others were on phones. The elderly ladies beside me seemed confused and irate that they hadn’t been served yet, and were angry with me because I’d been acknowledged before them. When we finally placed our order, Christian then had to shoo the people out of the banquet room, they also seemed irritated. We eventually got settled and waited, 1 of the 3 tables were dirty with plates, napkins, cups, etc. But thankfully we only needed 2 tables. Our pizzas eventually came out… we had ordered 4, thankfully the cheese one came out for the kids first, after about 10 more minutes we got our pepperonis, I don’t recall how long it was before we finally got our 4th one, but we were all hungry and everyone had had the pepperoni, no one really wanted the 4th one(gourmet veggie) by the time it came out. I understand, places like this get busy, school is out, etc. But with the way the lady spoke on the phone, I would have thought maybe they would be more prepared. Thank you Christian, for exhibiting wonderful customer service, under stress, amongst myself, my niece and the other customers, you did a wonderful job.

I ordered 2 thin crust pizzas. But got over cooked cardboard. All for $ 36 Round Table used to be a great pizza. They really went down hill. I wouldn’t come back to this place if the pizza was free.

I got a few days ago I got the new peproni, sauge and choped bazel pizza that was so good. Lots of meat, fresh mozerella chese and that garlic butter that they brush onto the crust is very good. My pizza was nice and hot and the lady was very nice who delivered it. But I gave a little low reateing because my grandma tryed ordering the same pizza today and it was nothing like the one I got. It had less meat, roasted tomatos no bazel or parsley on it, there was no garlic butter spread on the crust plus it was not as hot as the one I got a few days ago. I dont know if it depends on whos making the pizzas that day or what. But thats why I gave it kind of a low rateing. Bottom line is that sometimes the pizza turns out really well and sometimes its bad. Over all good pizza when they make it right and a little pricey but if u want fresh u gotta pay more.

I’m an idiot. Per my last review, I vowed never to return. I did, and wasted my money. I treated 2 friends to lunch, they wanted a pizza buffet. I should have gone to Lucky and bought a frozen one and a bag of salad. The selection of pizza was horrible. One pepperoni selection: It was cold and only 3 pieces left. Customers were forced to hover over the bar like vultures waiting for their next pizza, not a good way to offer a buffet.

I live in San Jose. My boyfriend and I were house sitting and decided to order pizza at 9pm. This is the best pizza I’ve had in a long time at Round Table! Absolutely amazing!

We ordered a specialty pizza and bread sticks online. It delivered on time, however once we got it inside and opened it up we realized they delivered a plain cheese pizza. We checked the receipt and sure enough we were charged for a specialty pizza. We called and told them about the mistake, the girl said they’d send another one out to us right away. An HOUR later we called back and she said our pizza was just sitting there on the counter and hadn’t gone out for delivery. My boyfriends bloodsugar was so low at that point he got in the car with the cold cheese pizza and drove to the Round Table to get his money back. He said it was absolutely dead in there. They were all standing around doing nothing… Never again! This place sucks!!!

«What does gluten free mean?» is frustrating enough to someone who has to avoid gluten for medical reasons, but then since the kids won’t eat pizza with tomato sauce, I ordered with no sauce — RT sauced it anyway therefore my daughter picked the pepperoni off and announced she was«full». This location has a big party room with TV sets, salad bar is small but decent. Fairly clean and modern(except for the restrooms), arcade area looked cool though arcades demand parents’ money. As other reviews have said, the customer service is the biggest drawback here. Aside from that, it’s alright. There’s plenty of room for improvement here in employee training.
