Subway

The sandwich and the salad were far better than delicious. The employee put lots of veggies. They were really kind and happy. I recommend this subway if you live in Livermore.

I went to the subway today and was told the credit card machine wasn’t working after I already had them make my sandwich so the only option was for them to write down my credit card information on a scrap piece of paper, which obviously makes me worry about security issues. Then, I went to go get my fountain drink and when I looked at the ice that had just been dispensed into my cup, it had black sludge in it. I said that to them and there was not an ounce of worry or concern about it. It was like it happens all the time and they just told me I could get a 20 oz soda out of the fridge instead, if I wanted. I don’t even want to know how disgusting the inside of that ice machine must be for black sludge to be coming out but it seems to me they should be a little more concerned about the health risks. If they can’t even keep their ice machine clean, it really makes me question the way the food is dealt with. I will not be returning to this location

LISTEN THIS USE TO BE MY SANDWICH SPOT (Cause the rest are so far from work) BUT AFTER TODAY… I THINK NOT!!! First of all, it seems like everyone in there is either slow OR don’t listen. I had a couple for a BOGO and I guess cause i was getting it FREE… He had to do a sloppy job: Cut open the bread, and even before he started I asked for the condiments to go on the bread not the toppings… Didn’t listen! A foot long TURKEY sandwich and 4 slices of turkey is all, really?! Then asking me what I’d like while he was talking to a girl (THAT TOOK SOMEONES SOUP THAT SPILLED INTO THE TO GO BAG BACK INTO THE CONTAINER… INSTEAD OF POURING THE MAN NEW SOUP: O). So he’ s now skipping over things I told him I wanted and I have to repeat myself. When he was finally done…1. HE DID NOT CUT MY SANDWICH, 2. HE POORLY WRAPPED (Had some of my topping spill out in the bag! The sandwich was so POORLY PUT TOGETHER… I HAD TO USE A PLATE AND UTENSILS #SMDH

I feel really weird writing a 5 star review about a Subway of all things, but this place is so damn good! I’m pregnant and all I want is a sandwich with a ton of veggies. The ladies who work here are always awesome about loading my sandwich up with everything I ask. They also remembered me when I went in and asked about my pregnancy (I had told them last time I was pregnant to explain the excessive pickles and banana peppers, I just barely started showing). I look forward to running errands in Livermore because I always know I’ll stop here on my way back home (Discovery Bay)! It’s the only Subway I’ll go to!

I can’t stand this Subway — the people not only NEVER smile, but I swear they snarl at you, it is very hard to understand them and they make the sandwiches very sloppily — only three olives on one side of the sandwich, etc. Go somewhere else that actually appreciates your business!

Nice place. Next to my work and house. Friendly staff and they actually make good sandwiches unlike other places where they just throw in stuff. Italian bmt is just too good. Hope they bring back garlic bread.

Ive been going to this subway for years and the woman working there always asks how my dog is doing, even though shes only seen me walk by with her and not actually stop by their store with her in tow. Never had any problems with the staff or with any of their food. Yes, it is a small establishment, but its always kept very clean.

Always fresh bread, meat and add-​ons. The employees are less than friendly though. The store’s always clean, so I guess it’s a plus outweighing the minus.

If you’re not keen to drive elsewhere, then you can get yourself a bread-​wich, though experience has taught me (here, other Subways, even out of the US) that the bread-​to-​contents ratio is consistently low.
The location is a bit teeny, and the staff could be friendlier, but the sandwiches are on par with other Subway location.
But with the keys in the hand, I’ll usually just venture one more exit down to the Togo’s on First Street and go there instead. (Not to be confused with the OTHER Togo’s on First Street closer to downtown, yeah, that’s not at all confusing, huh.)

This is the worst Subway I have ever been to. I could not understand the woman behind the counter due to her thick Indian accent. I ordered an egg sandwich on English muffin. She asked «do you want white»? Huh? again asked same question still did not understand so just nodded. Ended up with egg white sandwich. Ok. Went to use bathroom while husband ordered his food. Standing water on floor over an inch deep in places with disgusting lint balls all over the wet floor from their 10 year old rag mop. Went to inform husband that I can’t use this bathroom; he informs me toilet is clean, just water on floor. So I use gross bathroom as toilet and sink do appear clean. Admire bucket of dirty water and said mop on way out. Food edible but hardly good. Avoid at all costs.

Before coming by today– I made sure to check the hours of operation. According to their site, they close at 10:30pm. I got there at 8:50pm and when the lady working saw me and my husband coming she went in the backroom. It turned out she had already locked up. I double checked the hours posted on the door and it said closes at 10pm! I was very disappointed.

I’ve tried to hold off on writing a bad review for this place since I love Subway. But today put me over the edge. I’m not sure what the other reviewer experienced but these people NEVER smile. I always walk away form there less perky than I walked in. Except for strictly making you a sandwich, there is absolutely NO customer service. Plus I find myself saying «What?» 5 times because they A. have very thick accents and B speak very softly. I don’t mind accents, but I’m sorry, I just can’t understand what they are saying. I think I’m going to start going across town rather than be put in a sour mood at lunch.

Great sandwiches, friendly service. And smiles! Better than the one on 1^st Street! But the bathrooms are weird. If you use the faucet, stand to the side so it doesn’t spray water on you. Oh, and to flush the toilet, pull UP on the silver knob (trust me, it’s easier than the 3 sea shells).
