Just got the falafel here and it was tasty! The falafels are crunchy and yummy but the best part is the hummus and tahini. SO flavorful! Got the Israeli salad and some lettuce in it as well. Only 5.95. Next time I’ll try the babaganoush and the red sauce. Will definitely be back

After reading so many reviews on the falafel we decided to try it out. It was incredible!

It’s different for Livingston, had a really good vegetable pizza and the best part is they sell a bunch of Jewish chips and candy that is hard to find around! I like their choices of drinks in the fridge. It could use a better decore though.

Love the food! The ONLY reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of cleanliness. I don’t think it is really clean, so I am careful with my selections, but the food is SOGOOD it is one of the few not so clean places I will go to! Definite hypocrite with this place — so good that I ignore the dirt! YUM!

I came here the other night to try Israeli food. The food was delicious and the place had the home cozy vibe. The only down fall is that there wasn’t a card or sign saying what the foods are. I was with someone who is Jewish and knows all the types of food thankfully. Also they microwave the food right there in front of you. Other than that the food was delicious and very inexpensive. There’s also a ten dollar minimum for credit card charges.

It’s a little jarring to see someone casually throw your three item combo into the microwave, but it tastes good and was reasonably priced at $ 8.95. Very casual. Giant portions of baklava for $ 2.25 is always a plus! And BTW, I’m not jewish. ;)

Same review and place as Jerusalem Restaurant: I’m Jewish but I’m not JEWISH but even so, I tried Jerusalem the other day and thought it was just great. How great, you ask? I would recommend it to not only other nonreligious Jews but to non Jews, as well. My felafel was great(thank goodness for spell check because I was stuck there for a minute) and the pizza was also delicious. It was one of those times that I honestly wish I had a larger appetite because I would totally gone for a knish, some stuffed grape leaves and just about anything else behind their massive counter. So glad we finally stopped in there. We will be back soon and hopefully hungrier.

The food was so good! There are so many options it can get a little overwhelming but try the Jerusalem platter, it was everything you want!

Great Kosher Pizza ! Great Kosher Sushi ! Great Kosher Israeli food! Place to sit and eat with co-workers, business meeting, or with the family. You can call for takeout. They also do catering. Used them many times at the old company I worked for. Prices are reasonable.

Great Vegetarian restaurant. So many vegetarian choices and everything tasted so yummy fresh. The $ 8.95 three item platter is amazing and great value, however there is a $ 10 minimum for credit cards. The only thing I did not like about this place was: after you ordered, they put your plate into a microwave to heat up. But anyway, the food still tasted great! And they do serve Sushi!

Kosher dairy lunch/dinner spot. Honestly, I’ve gone here my entire life and have learned to love it. However, the platter items can be hit or miss. The falafel is great but I can’t stand the pizza… It’s sooo salty! Sushi is good too! Try the sushi sandwich, yum! Overall, good food but a little pricey.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid for over 20 years.(Before you call BS on this, the owner had this restaurant in a different location in Livingston next to a Bottle King before it moved here) This is the best contemporary vegetarian and Kosher food I have. I don’t think I’ve ever had a falafel better than the ones here and that’s including all the Middle Eastern places I’ve been to in NY, NJ, Miami, Atlanta, Chicago and Ohio. I always get a falafel with Israeli salad, hummus, tahini, and their amazing red sauce. They have some really great pizza too. They’ve recently started making stuffed pizza and falafel pizza. 1 slice is a full meal of it self. They also have a lot of Kosher snacks, desserts, and baked good! A++! 5 Stars! Will be coming here as much as possible!

I love this spot! So many choices and very friendly staff. I enjoy the pick two platter. The options are plentiful and always fresh. I haven’t tried the pizza or sushi; however, I plan on trying these options soon.

My first falafel ever, after reading these Unilocal post I had to try one. the lady behind the counter was very helpful as I had no idea what to put in it one item she put was an eggplant thick paste which was very tasty, and that hot red sauce was the bomb, I love hot sauce… all in all, In the words of General MacArthur «I shall return»

I am a South Carolinian who visits friends in northern New Jersey about once every couple of years and I always make it a point to have a whole falafel with Israeli salad and extra tahina at Jerusalem Restaurant. Throw in a piece of baklava and you have a real treat!

I work nearby and order from here often. Food is always good, great prices, and fast service. I highly recommend the hummus, falafel, and veggie pizza. My only complaint is that they don’t make the pita chips like they used to. Whyyyy, Jerusalem?! Your pita chips used to be the greatest pita chips ever!

Came to this place to have a Kosher lunch, I’m not Jewish but i figure it was worth trying. The food was awesome. I had the falafel because it was highly recommended, even though I’ve had it before and it just didn’t taste that good. Well I’m glad i got it here because it was damn delicious. I was surprised by how good it was and will probably be back the next time i feel the need for some falafels. The pizza was also pretty good. I didn’t think it was anything special taste wise, but its Kosher so if your kosher, hey it’s a done deal. If you’re not I don’t see a reason to come for this. All in all ill probably be back here.

Jerusalem is a great place to get some kosher food, but man is it tight. There are about 4 different ordering stations, but you have to walk through the same narrow walkway to get to the different ones. That means while someone is ordering Sushi you have to squeeze behind them in order to get your pizza or falafel. It seems like no matter what time of day you go in there the place will be crowded, so be prepared. Everything I have had here has been great. The Pizza is really good and a priced well. They also usually have a couple of calzones ready to go too. The falafel is great and always hot as well. One of the best deals at the place is the three items for $ 8. They have tons of different options to chose from(probably about 20), and all of those which I have had were great as well. I have never had the sushi there before, but everyone I have been with who had thinks its great. They also have a large freezer case and shelves filled kosher and Israeli products. Its not the biggest selection, but if you are there anyway, it’s a convenient place to grab a few items. Additionally all of their Pareve items they say are Pas Yisrael, which can always be good to know.
