Little Daddy’s

I eat out a lot, and this has to be the worst restaurant I’ve been to in years. We came here at 12:30 PM on a Wednesday and this place was dead. That was the first red flag. I ordered the fish n’ chips which was «voted best fish n chips» (by who? Someone who’s been in Guantanamo for 10 years?) They were soggy and gross. The person with me ordered the «turkey dinner special». It was no better than a week old leftover Thanksgiving dinner nuked for a few minutes. I’m guessing that not only did I waste my time eating there, but also in writing this review because there is no way that this place will be in business much longer.

Great food!!! Similar to Coney Island options, but a much healthier version! They don’t seem to do well with such large groups though. We had 11 people and the food came out at 4 different times — I’ll be back but in smaller groups!

All the food here is great, the menu is large, and the staff is very friendly. In fact z the only negative thing I could say about Little Daddy’s is that it was completely empty when I arrived, about 30 minutes before closing time.

Finally tried Little Daddy’s. Glad I didn’t rush in sooner. Menu is way too big. Need to focus on fewer items and do them well. Very clean and nice looking. Have a full bar area.
Restaurant had live easy listening which would set the tone for a much busier atmosphere. Just need to focus on their fresh items. Salads are worth a visit. Dinner portions also don’t need to be so big. Very friendly staff but even they need to be more focused. Had at least 3 different people serve us. Could use some guidance on where to take themselves from here.

My mom is a Maurice Salad snob. Nothing compares to Hudson’s/Macy’s Maurice Salad. I couldn’t believe how much she raved about the Maurice Salad here. I had spaghetti which was very good. Kevin was an extremely nice waiter. Happy hour from 4 – 6 even on a Saturday. I will definitely be back with my husband.

We had a good dinner here with two other couples. I had the Saganake to start and although it was tasty, they did not flame it at your table (NO OHMPA) — disappointing. I then had a very good chicken salad wrap. My wife had the chicken salad platter and said it was good. Our friends were happy with their meals except for the one who ordered the roasted turkey dinner and said the turkey seemed to come from lunchmeat — -it looked good to me though.

My wife and I were overly pleased with this restaurant. My wife had a gyro… excellent, fresh, big and included a side of the chef’s homemade potato chips with his secret seasoning. The chips were so good we suggested to the polite and «spot on» busy manager, the chips should be marketed for carry out!
The meatloaf was top quality along with above average garlic mashed potatoes, and above average buttered corn.
Amy, our waitress was as nice and accommodating you would hope for.
This staff is working hard to make this a success.
The menu was scary because it is large, but all I can say is the food I ate and food I saw, especially the salads, all were impressive.
I also noticed many glutinous free choices on the menu.

Food was very good. Service excellent. We went with our family and stayed and talked far too long– the restaurant was actually closed and we didn’t realize because we were having so much fun– but each and every employee was gracious. Highly recommended — very good food. While not high end — it was the best gyro I have had in years. A great experience.

Well I used to enjoy going here, but since Brian the manager is not there when we go, we have noticed the food is not as good and the atmosphere is not the same.
Most the wait staff is not as friendly.
Not going back as much, really miss Brian.

Awesome menu with plenty of variety. The service was good, and the staff is very friendly. We enjoy their Gyros Special filled with lamb, feta and a wonderful sauce. Breakfast is great too. Highly recommend.

Best service I have had at any restaurant. Period. Roger and Megan did an amazing job with our kids too. Food was perfect and out quickly. Cannot wait to come back!

Great food, a ton of excellent salads and love the burgers. They got a bunch of seasonal specials too and this location has a full bar. Solid service, will be back.

All I have to say is I left feeling so full because I could not stop eating. I met a couple friends for dinner and we split some apps and each got our own entrée (plus some STRONG drinks) and could not have been happier. There were about 10 other tables in the restaurant at the time and our server was personable and the manager even came in to ask how we liked everything just because. I got the rib tips, deep fried pita bread and salmon salad and will be back again for more. I’ve been to the other Little Daddy’s locations and this one was no different. Big portions, friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere (and this one serves drinks!)

Went to Little Daddy’s in Livonia last night for the first time. A great fan of Little Daddy’s previously but absolutely love their new location! The restaurant is so clean and beautiful… makes you feel like eating in a fine dining establishment. Was greeted right away, server and manager both said hello upon sitting down. A nice large menu with a choice for everyone… we got the homemade stuffed cabbage and cherry chicken quinoa power bowl (gluten free :)) and they were fantastic!
The staff is so friendly and helpful. Met both managers and loved that they are a family restaurant but they also have a full bar without being a «bar & grill.» I can’t wait to go back and will have to look into their catering they offer. Their Livonia location is now my favorite Little Daddy’s and one of the best restaurants in Livonia.

Had a pretty bad experience here. I do not recommend. The Manager was our waiter. He was way overwhelmed. I definitely understood, but the food was pretty bad regardless. Fish tacos and veggie burger were bad. Also, seems like it’s a place for much older people. May be worth trying, but not for me. I think this was the worst place I have been to in a long time. They brought me the wrong food. I plan to stay away.

We had a great experience on 4^th of July here– we actually went to Dave and Busters first, waited 10 mins at a table– were ignored, left, and went to Little Daddy’s. We were greeted right away and sat. Not only did the waitress Cassie do everything right as far as waitressing, but the manager also came by several times to make certain we were taken care of. I ordered the Kale salad, it was a very large portion and the side of fries were good. My girl got a gyro and loved it, portions were also big. There’s a great kids menu with crayons (typical kids choices). Everything tasted fresh, great portions, great service from start to finish. And there are very many things to choose from on the menu. Highly suggest this place!

Arrived at 7pm and pretty quiet. New liquor licence should add some buzz.
Wait staff was friendly and attentive. Ordered Lasagna and wife ordered Lamb. SO much food I took home ½ of it no problem. Had a buy one get one coupon — so this was an excellent deal for us. Meals range from $ 7 – 14.00 and most are $ 10.99 or so. The menu is extensive and has something for everyone. Got ice tea and was refilled 3 times — I see other issues with other reviews — but frankly I think any place goes thru issues now and then. I will go back.

Food was good but what made this experience amazing was the service. This was probably the best service I have ever had. We tool our kids and our waitress Jennifer was amazing with them. She even drew my daughter a picture to color. I would go back in a second.

We met our friends at this restaurant. They raved about this place so we thought we’d meet them and give it a try. I liked the waitress, she was very attentive and kind. She got everything we needed and brought me refills on my diet pepsi without my having to ask. She was on the ball and doing a great job, if you ask me.
Now upon walking in, I thought it resembled a «Coney Island» place in a strip mall. It is not so much to look at. But I felt that it was clean and the food was a notch better than a regular «coney island» place. The menu has so much on it that it does take one aback. It’s hard to decide when it has so much on it but then again, people would be complaining if there wasn’t enough on the menu as well… I suppose?
I had a burger and fries and it was average. Though, like I said, the server was above average and the place was pretty clean. I liked that the food came nice and hot and there was just so many choices. I think I will write another review when we go back and try this place one m ore time. But for now, I think a «3 star» review is a good review for our experience. We will be back…

Wowwwwww!!! This little daddy’s is so much different than the one on northwestern hwy. I used to work at the one on northwestern hwy when I was in high school… About 10 years ago. I also go there about once a month so I’m very familiar with the menu. It’s still the exact same over there… Here… it’s just awful.
Walk in, see my family. No one else in the restaurant. a wednesday night. 7 pm. We were at a table of about 15. Our orders are easy… Some diet pepsis, some water, some coffee, 6 soups, 3 saganaki, a few different salads (no substitutes) and a few other meals… No substitutes also.
So, our waiter who is waiting on a 15 top– it’s his 2^nd day waiting tables. After he’s taken half the orders, the manager and another waitress come in and help him.
We wait 15 min, our drinks come out, 10 more minutes still no bread, no soups, no saganaki. We asked for bread. 5 min later, 1 side of the table gets bread. Our side still had no bread for 10 more minutes. Then some soups start coming out. 2 people got their soups, the other 4 waited for 7 – 10 min for the rest of the soups. The waiter legitimately was bringing out one soup at a time. we called the manager. She (Catherine) did nothing. Saganaki comes out… At the same time saganaki comes out, some people are getting their entrée salads.
All of a sudden a new waitress appears. We hadn’t seen her yet, but thank god she came otherwise we would have walked out, I swear, or the staff would have been so fed up, we’d be eating their spit. I’m not sure we didn’t eat their spit because we complained an awful lot (it was completely justified), but our new waitress at least was able to get the food out in a somewhat timely manner.
I asked Catherine for refills on our 2 pepsis, another set of silverware, and extra napkins. With a big smile, she grabs an extra set of silverware off the table in front of us, and says she will be back with the Pepsi and napkins… They never come! Entrees start coming out… Slowly… One meal at a time. After about ¾ of the meals were out, I still didn’t have my food, and the waitress wasn’t sure who’s food had come out yet. So… She grabs the rest of our food but it takes 10 more minutes.
Our food is at least pretty decent… Except I had French fries, my uncle had fried perch, and the fries taste like fried fish batter. You shouldn’t ever fry fish in the same oil as anything else. Ever! Also, my boyfriend had a salad– the Aggie salad, which was good, but way over dressed, the other salads (Tommy’s) didn’t come tossed in dressing.
My uncle is upset mashed potatoes didn’t come with his perch, but he was ok with the veggies. When Catherine heard he was upset, she offered to bring out mashed potatoes but he turned the offer down. She then went to the drink stand (which was next to our table) she started bitching to one of the waitresses how he was complaining againnnnnnnn… WE ONLY COMPLAIN BECAUSE OUR SERVICE WAS LESS THEN SUBSTANDARD!!!
As I continue writing this, I originally rated this 2 stars but I switched to 1 because reliving the experience by writing this review has made me SO MAD!
All I can say is if Leonard or Keith owns this restaurant… Get this place in check like the other beloved little daddy’s, otherwise, it won’t be around much longer.
Three words: GET. IT. TOGETHER
