On my way to Fairfield, stopped to get dinner. I ordered a whopper with cheese and icee; was told that Icee machine was not ready, ordered reg drink instead. I was told at the drive-thru my total was $ 6.04 pulled around and my total was $ 7.11. Questioned cashier said he didn’t say $ 6.04. Ok, just lost me from coming to this restaurant.

I don’t normally Unilocal chain places but, this BK deserves an honorable mention. The food is the usual BK fare although their burger patties looked a lot lighter and tasted a lot drier than other BK patties I’ve had. The wait is also a little longer than usual — I guesstimate about 10 minutes to get a 2 burgers and an order of chicken tenders. After the 10 minute wait, the manager hands me my food and asks«would you like any sauce?» I ask for ranch, he puts one in the bag, hands me the bag, and walks away. I’m on my way out and the clerk tells me «oh by the way, my manager told me to charge you for the sauce. It’s $ 0.20» WTF? Really? I ordered chicken tenders, it’s not like I asked for a bunch of sauce just because. The manager could have told me that he was charging for it BEFORE he gave it to me so I could have decided if I wanted it or not. I’ve ordered chicken tenders from at least 10 other BKs in the last 4 months(I’m on the road a lot) and none of them have charged me for sauce. So, BK in Lodi — here’s a sure fire way to piss off your customers. Take their order, give them their food, and then call them back after they’re getting ready to leave to pay extra for a sauce that should come standard with chicken tenders. AVOID this BK! They will nickel and dime you in the most humiliating way possible. There are plenty of other fast food joints to pick from on this stretch of road.
