This place is fantastic! It’s been a while since I’ve come in to have breakfast, but only because I live out of the area. If I lived closer I’d be here at least once a week to have some pastries! Try anything on their menu and you won’t be disappointed!!!

Fantastic pastries and a phenomenal omelette. This place is definitely worth checking out.

I’m usually here studying Friday afternoons since Loma Linda campus closes early. It’s cozy, quiet, food is decent and they great customer service. I really like their fruit cheesecake and the variety of chai coffee. It’s really a great study spot(except for lunch when it gets a little busier) since not many people sit and study at the back area where there are tables and couches.

What a fascinating place! So Tess’ seems to cater to the local Adventist crowd because they don’t use pork products(as emphatically emphasized by the nice lady who took my order) and have a ton of fake meat/vegetarian options. But their food is unhealthy enough to be yummy, so don’t worry that your $ 8 – 10 meal is going to be lacking in flavor. This place is classic Americana when it comes to portion sizes too. I loved my lasagna. I have never disliked a lasagna, but mine was good. It was a daily special, though, so never again!

Very cosy and not crowded café. First time. The male cashier/barista was very patient with me as I may love coffee, but when it comes to lattes and espressos I’m just lost. He was very accomadating, and said he could pour coconut into any drink I wanted because he could tell I loved the coconut part of the chai I read on the menu board. The menu board was so loaded with items that I couldn’t find prices of things easily and I was intimidated, and I didn’t notice the fitfrap that I saw on Unilocal on the menu because it was actually advertised on a little something on the counter that I noticed after making my purchase. The pecan bar was really good, I might have to come back for it again! I think I can understand some reviewers saying the manager or boss is grouchy because I smiled at him when he came to check out the register, and he stared at me like he couldn’t understand what I was happy about.

Good little place to to grab a bite to eat! They have excellent, friendly service, good decent food, they make their own bread, so your sandwiches have a really good, soft, fresh taste to them. The place itself is located in a great area, tons of places to sit at, in door and out. For the place itself, it’s very clean, good vibe and the prices are very good.

I’ll be dreaming of that magic bar all week! Fridays are made for chocolate splurges and this place has got the goods. If they can do that with sugar and flour then I’m sure the rest of the menu is great too. Nice staff, decent menu, and a dining area that wasn’t full of wi-fi hogging laptop mongrels.

This place is great! The customer service was good and the food was excellent! I had the breakfast sandwich with eggs, mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes, pepper jack cheese, and white bread! The bread is homemade with no preservatives. It is the best bread I’ve had in a while. Very comfortable setting with chairs and a separate room with couches and more tables. Prices were reasonable and pastry’s look and taste amazing! Will definitely be going again! The man at the register was very generous I wish I got his name. He catered to everyone’s needs and wishes! This place is Definitely worth a visit!

Great food, great service. Free wifi too. All I can ask for. The menu is large, so there is a lot to choose from, but from my experience it all tastes good. Tess’ has great desserts too.

This place is pretty good, will definitely be going back. Only complaint would be the ends on the bread being hard.

I think I’m done with this place. The bakery items aren’t really that great, and their customer service is crap. Plus, they obviously are not customer focused opening as late as they do. Too bad because I liked their loose leaf organic tea selection. When I asked if I could use the check in offer for that, the girl looked up at the ceiling and then said no, not even willing to check with the manager, which makes me think she didn’t know the answer so just decided to shut it down instead of checking. I just feel that every time I’ve come here, one thing or another has disappointed me. I’ll support other local bakeries instead, with employees who act like they actually appreciate my business.

It was just ok. The customer service is lacking. He was cocky and very awkward to talk to. When we asked for a recommendation we were told everything was good. My fiancé got the turkey panini and said he’d give it a 4 star. My cold turkey sandwich was ok; the bread was way too thick. I threw most of it away. Bummer. Was hoping it would be better.

This review is just on their beverages, customer service, and overall atmosphere. Did not try their food on this visit. The iced Dirty Chai Latte I ordered was delicious, the atmosphere was peaceful and pleasant. Great place to relax, read a book, or hang out with friends. The customer service was what really stood out. The male server(who was the cashier and barista as well during my visit) was spectacular: friendly, helpful, and energetic. I arrived 15 minutes to closing and he still took his time with me and chatted with another customer. Didn’t rush us at all. I then sat outside on the patio, since they would be closing soon, and he made the extra effort to come out and double check that I was satisfied with my drink and didn’t need anything else. Let’s just say, I would definitely recommend to others.

What a nice little quaint place. Do you have plenty of seating and we also have comfortable couches for the coffee relaxers. The food was fresh and have a great vegetarian menu. Copies awesome. Highly recommended! Raegan and Mariah were awesome hosts!

I came here after exploring the neighborhood I just moved to. There Chipotle Chicken Salad is the bomb! Good sized portions and they don’t skimp on the chicken. The chipotle dressing is tasty and spicy! Definitely cleared my sinuses, but has a great flavor. The vanilla chai with coconut milk was also yummy. I’ll definitely be trying their green tea chai and spiced chai next time. Also, if you’re looking for a quiet and comfy café to study then this is it. Not crazy loud like starbucks up the street. Lastly, the customer service is fabulous. They’re genuinely interested in ensuring you are satisfied with your food and drinks. Love it this place!

This place has decent food, but the owner is a real jerk. His attitude trickles down to his staff. You get the impression that the staff is doing you a major favor to wait on you. I went in for lunch once. I had only 30 minutes. Two employees stood at the register and talked, without even acknowledging my presence. They can be aloof and snobby. The food is overrated and overpriced.

Extremely amazing pastries which are very fresh and generously topped with frosting or filled with filling. The cinnamon roll was so delicious I could not stop eating long enough to take a picture. The éclair was huge at approximately 8″ long and 4″ wide and the best I’ve ever eaten. I enjoyed the pastrami sandwich but it would have been much better if it was warmer and had cheese. I did not enjoy the turkey panini. Although the turkey meat was good I didn’t like the flavor of the pesto which tasted more like spinach and unfortunately ruined the sandwich. Also, I would have preferred the panini much warmer inside with the cheese melted.

Affordable sandwiches that are filling and delicious. Tess’s Place is a great place to stop by for lunch to grab a quick bite to eat. They are fast and efficient and the service is great. One worker even asked if he could take our plates away after we were done and we were literally probably about 4 feet away from the trash can. That’s how nice they were! Get their panini sandwiches too! They’re delicious and I recommend the Turkey Panini

Very simple homemade yummy healthy food here which I appreciate very much. Walnut raisin bread is amazing. Soups are fresh, not too salty. Salads are very refreshing, crisp with noticeably well washed lettuce(so important). :D
