As a craft beer drinker, this place always have something special on tap, beer experts, exellent service, tapas menu is on point. Not to mention the beer dinner, food pairing with different micro breweries around New York. Just simply awesome.

This place lived up to its standards on exactly what I expected which is why I rated 5 stars. But with that said, bathrooms of establishments usually gets them knocked down a star. I DIDNOT have opportunity to use it. We came here using the living social voucher for burgers, fries, draft beers, and churros for two. We had a very attentive waiter so we tipped well. Anywhere with good treatment with the use of a groupon deserves a good tip!

Came here for first time yesterday(quick drive from Atlantic Beach. NY). Sat at bar, with a friend. Food was great! Pricing inexpensive for the quality/quantity. Menu extends to hit all«foodies» pleasures. Music, atmosphere, bar menu, and local surfing movie on big screen were all a double thumbs up. Recommend Jetty, and will definitely be back here again(frequently)! P. S. Bar tender is friendly and helpful with menu choices too.

Always good craft beer selection. Food is good but not a big fan of tapas. Always hosting different cool events and fundraisers

Tapas bars are the biggest swindling bars around. They make you believe that you’re not doing anything wrong if you order 7 different dishes because the portions are small. Like, who the fuck was I kidding? So I came here with my friend for dinner with intentions on getting a delicious salad. We ordered the jerk chicken skewers, calamari, jerk chicken arepa, mussel pot, skirt steak taco, yuca fries, and the empanada of the day. Not to mention, we were so curious about the fried pumpkin pie that Eric(an amazing manager/bartender) ordered it on him. So much for that got damn salad lmao. The food was delicious. It wasn’t busy at all so we were lucky to get our food in less than 15 minutes. Even the water was refreshing. Eric treated us well and had all open ears to our lovely female gossip. I had a great time and anytime I go back to visit my friend in Long Beach I’ll know exactly where to go to grab a bite to eat.

Great neighborhood location. The food is great, service is friendly and prompt, music is good and you can catch any game. In the summer it has a beach spot… in the winter it is just a great place to hang out. Definitely worth trying… you’ll be back.

I was here for the first time on saturday for your Oktoberfest, had a fun day. I had a living social deal for burgers/fries, a flight of beers and churros and might i add, the churros with mango sauce were so damn delicious, fresh and hot out of the oven. Long Beach Brewing Company was there, so i got to try out some of the local brew on tap and Michele was a great server :)

Food has been awesome every time I go. From Fish tacos, Cuban sandwiches, oysters and empanadas. Awesome bar food portions at reasonable prices. The craft beer menu is on point as well. Open air room and great staff makes this one of my favorite places in long beach.

This is my go-to place when I hit Long Beach for the day. A close walk from the New York Ave entrance, it really can’t be any better. Everything I have eaten here has been tasty. I personally like to sit at the bar to eat, but that’s not always an option. Service is always pleasant, and quick! I know there are a ton of places out there, but this one has always stood out!

The food was decent at best, the drinks were nice and cold, but the service was deplorable! Not only were drinks and food items missed for our party of 8(not that big of a party) but everything took forever to come out.

Great sangrias, prices are very decent, décor needs a bit fix to it. Chairs outside could be a little more cosy, they are plastic like beach chairs.

Really cool open air bar with a seafood and surfing theme. Little neck clams were great. The tilapia with Greek salad was a perfect combination.

I was in today. I called ahead to ask about Happy hour. I was told that beer and well drinks were $ 4. When I went in and sat down at the bar, I asked about the bucket of cans. The bartender knew nothing about it. So I asked about the happy hour. I was told only cans and bottles. I asked which ones and was handed a menu and told to select a bottle or can. I ordered some food items and cans of 21st amendment watermelon… at no time was I told that this can was not part of the happy hour. Imagine my surprise when I got the check and was charged $ 6 a can. When I questioned this, the bartender said that can wasn’t offered as part of happy hour(although I had asked the bartender and was told to order a can and was not redirected after selecting a can from the menu). A waiter standing at the bar jumped in and agreed with her and informed me, «In the future, just so you know, the price is what the register rings it up as.» Why he involved himself, I don’t know; but a consumer chooses their future purchases and I will choose establishments that don’t misrepresent specials to get you through the door and who provide inquiring consumers with a clear and honest answer about what is included in happy hour. It is important for the consumer to be able to have a clear expectation of what they will be charged especially after calling ahead and double checking with any staff member at an establishment. It certainly became«unhappy hour» for me and my guest. When I posted this complaint on the Jetty Facebook page, someone answered and said they would address this with staff but did not offer any restitution for myself or my guest. Instead, promptly, my review was deleted from the Facebook page and I was left feeling unsatisfied once again.

A group of 15 of us came to Jetty this last Saturday at around 1PM for a birthday brunch. The deal was around $ 35-$ 40 a person for unlimited Margaritas, Bloody Marys, Mojitos, Mimosas, Beer/Wine and one main dish(skirt steak, cuban sandwich, fish tacos). Before the main dish, a bunch of appetizers were brought out like wings, calamari, empanadas. The waitress, Jess, was very attentive and so awesome. The owner kept checking up on us and the entire staff was very nice. The vibe of the place was cool as well, the music was chill and relaxing. The food tasted very good and the bartender did a great job making the drinks! I will definitely be back here with a group of people since everything went so well!

The portions are ridiculously small, 4 bite size pieces of steak is not worth 9 dollars. The mojitos and margaritas taste like fruity seltzer water. Disappointed for sure. On a positive note the reggae band was super fun.

I had a good experience the first time I was there last summer. Wanted to try it again. The food is good, but very small selection on the menu. What was bad planning on the part of the kitchen is that they were out of mussels at 7PM on a Saturday night(they have a delicious mussels pot which is one of their popular dishes). If the supplier didn’t have quality mussels that day, you need a back up. I was so disappointed, considering I drove down from CT to eat there with friends. Moving on to the bar and jukebox issues that were NOT acceptable… 1) They have a touch screen music jukebox, you put money in, select your songs, and they NEVER play. It seems to do it’s own random thing, and we sat at the bar after dinner for some drinks, and never heard our songs, so that was annoying! 2) As I was sitting at the bar, I kept smelling incense, was very bizarre. My friends smelled it too. It was very strong and caused my eyes to tear and started coughing. I asked one of the bartenders and was told that they are not burning anything. I knew I wasn’t imagining it, so asked the other bartender if they were burning incense at the bar and was told YES, to cover up the back up smell from the sink drain under the bar. Was told that the manager advised them to move the incense to the other side not to bother me. So that was the final nail in the coffin for this place, if they are having sanitary issues at the bar, what’s happening in the kitchen? Never again will I go back.

I like Jetty now… but I loved it when it opened. I feel like there isn’t a crowd many times and the music is really loud so you can’t speak. It used to be a little bit more fun but it has died down and even the food is just ok(it was really good before). I give it three stars because it’s nice on an afternoon, maybe for a first date before it gets a bit of a crowd and music goes on. Also, the bar doesn’t have a great liquor selection. And where the staff used to be attentive, now they forget part of an order and then say«oh you still want that?» Despite my complaints, there is one shining star that does keep me coming back is $ 2 Tuesdays. They have a pretty full selection on the food and I highly recommend the fish tacos and arrepas(these are soooo good and have remained that way). Great deal. If you go for any reason, check it out on a Tuesday and eat something. Maybe you will go on a good day.
