Like another review on google, and one here, I also ended up running without oil on my F350 triton V-​10. I always used synthetic oil and had them change it, big mistake. They either didn’t put it in (most likely) or didn’t tighten something correctly. My low mileage truck now needs a new engine, of course I can’t prove it but they were the only ones who touched it. Basically I paid them to destroy my engine. Only 5 quarts low…

Avoid this place first of all they charge too much for the oil change and they also tried to tell you that their credit card machine does not work– not a fan at all! maybe just a bad experience, i dont like leaving businesses bad reaviews but hey!

We brought our 2006 Infinit M45 in today 06÷20÷15 and had a oil change done the gentleman broke the plug and now we have an oil leak, what’s upsets me the most is the inability of the shop and its employees to take ownership of the damage they caused $ 30 out the window plus the additional cost to have the part replaced and another oil change do not go here. They even said it was safe to drive from Long Beach to Santa Clarita WRONG THE OIL LEAKED the entire ride. HORRIBLE SERVICE

Amazing customer service. which is very hard to find. The staff was super friendly and even offered me a complimentary beverage while I waited. Service was also quick. I would definitely recommend to friends.

Great shop. Very friendly staff. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes for a smog check. $ 58.20 for my sedan, plus they take credit card. Checked the next day (Saturday) and DMV had already received e-​certificate.
Also nice that the owner’s wife came by to offer a nice cold 7-​Up on a hot day. Will be back for my next smog check!

First, they told me $ 68 for smog on my 2003 Ford Explorer… I called another local smog shop called «Lucky», they told me $ 50 total… I started to leave. He asked what quote I got, then said he’ll give it to me for $ 50. Saved money. :-)

Great place, very friendly and happy people. Gear service at a good price. Even get a complimentary soda or water while you wait. The little extra make all the difference.

There isn’t a thing I could think to complain about. No wait time, literally drive in and was seen right away. Friendly service and a cold Pepsi while I waited for my car to pass inspection. Definately come back next time I need a smog.

They gave me fast and courteous service and they even gave me a free cold Pepsi while I waited. I went here for a smog check and was in and out in what seemed like less than 15 minutes! I came in at around 2:00 PM on a Friday and there were no other customers in line. The grand total for the smog check was $ 78.20.

Went in for an oil change and smog check. Very gracious, friendly owners, as reviews elsewhere mention, the wife offered me coffee and snacks while I waited. The husband, a Korean gentleman, did the smog check, very nice. Gilbert, the main technician, did the oil change and noticed my car was leaking transmission fluid, told me it needed a transmission pan gasket, that if I brought in the part he would put it on for me (no mention of price). I had noticed the leak previously, and it was steadily worsening, but being short on funds hadn’t sought out a mechanic (new to the area, too).
Here’s where the integrity and great service really became evident. I bought the gasket and transmission fluid at O’Reilly’s, plus a filter, took them in to Protek. After Gilbert got my car apart, he discovered O’Reilly’s had given me the wrong parts. He called Auto Zone, they delivered the correct gasket and filter, but it took a long time for them to arrive. So, my car was taking up the bay for several hours (and this is a popular place).
After installing the parts, Gilbert painstakingly checked and re-​checked the shifting, the fluid levels, really put it through its paces, super-​conscientious. This took extra time. He and the owners couldn’t have been nicer, even though this stretched on for half the day. When it was done they charged me $ 100, and I got the parts back to return to O’Reilly’s.
They could easily have told me I needed a seal or an overhaul or something REALLY expensive, but they didn’t. And they never showed a bit of impatience about the bay being tied up or my bringing the wrong parts. Phenomenal. And it hasn’t leaked a drop since, shifts perfectly.
Gilbert has his own mobile mechanic business, along with an arrangement with the owners of Protek to use their bays at times (all above board). I am so glad to find mechanics knowledgeable, personable, appreciative AND honest, just outstanding, so RARE.

Great place, highly highly recommend. Been getting my smog checks here for a few years now and the same great service every time I go. Free cold soda with service!
