This place has quick delivery and tasty Asian food. It’s standard go-to Chinese takeout and Japanese sushi, but their menu is extensive. The delivery people are always friendly and fast. Good stuff.

I used to order from here occasionally being that it’s close to my job. I usually order the chicken teriyaki lunch special NEVER AGAIN! There was a nice black hair on my chicken so I called the restaurant was given the third degree (how much did I eat. we aren’t going to reimburse you for the portion you ate and so on). I eventually received my money back but there customer service truly sucks you’re giving me the third degree for your mistakes. how could you miss that nice long black hair on my chicken because I didn’t or you just didn’t care?

This is based on ordering off their sushi menu:
Spicy tuna roll which is a staple for me was lackluster and mushy
Boston roll didn’t fare any better
Shumai — another fave was decent, may order that again
HOWEVER, their specialty rolls are delicious. So far I’ve tried…
Spicy girl roll — spicy salmon, tuna, yellowtail, avocado and crunch inside and tobiko on top
Godzilla roll — spicy tuna and crunch inside, tobiko and avocado on top
Can a girl get some spice in her life?!

My «go to» local sushi/Chinese delivery place. I been ordering food here for almost 10 years. Fresh & good quality sushi and very reasonable price. They deliver super fast! I order here at least once a week.

I am not sure which star I should give. I really liked this place before. I ordered food often. It is not too far and convenience. The price is reasonable. There was not much problem. The service was fine. But it seems the restaurant recently has a new staff with glasses which is very rude and bad customer service. Maybe it is his first service job, the owner should discuss and teach him how a good customer service is. Now I stop ordering the food at this restaurant.

I love this place but its a hit or miss with the freshness but you cant go wrong with the shrimp tempura. I get the ten rolls for $ 30 and polish it off with another person. So gluttonous. So good. So cheap.

I come here for takeout every now and again.
In terms of appearance, it looks like a typical take out restaurant. Not really meant for spending too much time to sit and eat. There’s a couple of tables but they’re more for waiting for your food than they are for sitting and eating.
I can be very indecisive when it comes to the type of food that I want, so I do love the fact that I can order both decent sushi here as well as some lo mein.
I’ve tried both the Chinese and Japanese offerings and can say that I’m always satisfied with the food quality. I place my order online before I come and it’s always ready within 15 minutes or so.
It’s everything you want in a takeout spot: inexpensive, quick, and tasty.

I really like the convenience and fast delivery from this restaurant. The food is always good. The sushi is yummy. We continue to order on a regular basis.
My only gripe is with this restaurant is with the surly, ornery delivery guy that always delivers our orders like he hates his life and everyone in it.
My husband doesn’t like to answer the door because of him. Lol
It’s become an ongoing joke.

Been going here for years, usually order more Japanese than Chinese food but both done just right. Local or just passing by I certainly recommend the Karaage Platter or Combo, Chicken Avocado Salad, or the Vegetable Tempura.

Quick, simple and tasty Chinese food. I especially enjoy the Mongolian Beef — a rare find in NYC! Delivery is always quick and food is always hot and fresh.
They saved the day once when I had been waiting nearly 3 hours on a pizza I ordered from the LIC Domino’s. My meal from King Garden arrived promptly in 20 minutes.
I order from here on a pretty regular basis, and it is one of my top spots for Chinese delivery/takeout in western Queens. Highly recommended!

I’ve been ordering from this place for years. Every single entrée from their Japanese menu has been delicious. They’re super quick with their delivery and their delivery guys are super friendly. I always order from here whenever I have guests over and they love it too. Keep it up King Garden!

This place has the worst Chinese food in all of Astoria. I ordered shrimp dumplings, lo mein, and their house soup. Things that are hard to mess up. The shrimp dumplings had no shrimp in them, just this weird filler meat, and they were so doughy that chewing on them actually hurt after a while. The lo mein was soggily drowning in sauce, and the meat in the house soup was as tough as beef jerky. Go somewhere else.

This will be my most confused Unilocal review ever. I decided to bite the bullet and get sushi from a Chinese take out restaurant.
Worse comes to worst, I’ll just get food poisoning and not go to work, right?
Problem is: it wasn’t half bad and I had to go to work because I didn’t get food poisoning.
Avocado salad was CRAZY FRESH. Better greens than I’ve ever gotten at a Japanese restaurant. Maybe they were actually organic. Who knows?!
I got a salmon and tuna sushi and sashimi combo. It wasn’t the best fish ever but a step above pre-made refrigerated sushi. They were all of a decent size although a bit too much rice in the fish-rice ratio. Definitely did the trick and was beyond what I was expecting from a Chinese take out place.
The restaurant itself is also one of the prettier take out places I’ve ever seen.
But no, get the avocado salad, really.

I haven’t tasted anything from here that I didn’t like. I love the fact that they offer Chinese food and Japanese food. The food always taste fresh and seasoned quite good. I usually order take out but since I was in the area I stopped in. The staff is nice and they offer you candy while you wait.

I’ve lived an avenue away for 2 and a half years, yet somehow I’ve never eaten here. I’m not upset that I did. Not bad!
I ordered a spring roll and a pint of veggie chow fun. Total: $ 5.60. The spring roll was pretty standard, and a little less greasy than usual, which I valued. The chow fun was alright, but had too many water chestnuts and not enough other veggies for my liking. I also would have appreciated a larger portion — I’m used to other nearby places giving out at least two meals worth of food.
All in all, I’m full and thought this was sufficiently tasty. I’m so curious to try their sushi… maybe next time.
