Just going in feels like a mini vacation. It is a charming place with lots of cute and unusual things in a small space. I’ve gotten several gifts there and they are always a hit. Good service too.

I really liked this place a year ago. I’ve bought a few things there that have become favorite items in my home. The store has unique and interesting stuff — a mix of old and new, and it’s fun to hang out in Prospect(in Longmont) on occasion. The last time I went, however, the store had«shrunk». The owner gave up quite a bit of her space for someone else to have an office and now the store is cut up and it feels tight and uncomfortable. There are still a few nice things, but not nearly what there was before. As it warms up, I’m sure she will have more garden items lining the store and sidewalk on the outside which will help. It’s a shame she had to cut back — I think it affected the entire experience. I’ll go back — but not as often. Also, her website is not current and has incorrect information. This is a fix that should be addressed immediately.

Perhaps one of the worst shopping experiences we’ve had. We will never shop there again. If anyone does, be warned«all sales are final»(something they don’t tell you until after they have your money). We bought a hutch with glass doors from Nest and arranged for them to deliver. It was brought to us, uncovered, in the back of an open bed pickup. After delivery we noticed one of the panes of glass was broken and was missing piece up on the top. Contacting the owner, we were told the glass pane merely slipped down and we could push it back up and glue it in place. We looked again, while pane did slide up and down, it was also broken with piece gone. So we called again… salesperson that helped us said it was fractured. Nope, it was broken. Another call had the owner told us it had always been that way. We found that hard to believe as we spent close to an hour looking and debating over the piece in the store… paying attention to the glass as I’m always worried about having to replace glass on antiques. We suggested that perhaps the uncovered delivery in an open bed truck might have caused the broken glass. Or perhaps if they knew the pane slide around, that might have caused break during delivery. We were told somebody from the shop would come by to take a look. That never happened. We called to follow up, it was then we were told all items are sold as is, and all sales are final. I expect antiques to be sold as is… but there’s no sign in the shop, nobody told us as we paid, and no prior warning that was the case. It wasn’t until we gave over our money and got a receipt with the words«all sales final» on it(a bit late at that point) that was first indication. The owner«graciously» said she’d take the piece back, but with a restocking fee(about $ 100) and a store credit. That was not acceptable to us. We were dismayed at horrible customer service: the broken promise of coming to look at the piece, the conflicting stories that it was merely sliding glass, it was broken, it was fracture, etc. and the increasing angry tone towards us for merely wanting the piece as it was in the store. Exploring our options we found we’re stuck with the piece. So we’ll put some money in it to fix the glass, and have it serve as a reminder never to shop at Nest again.

This is a great, fun store. I was visiting from NJ and my friends insisted we come for a visit. The store is chock full of great items for home and garden. You can walk through the store several times and will always find something you missed the first time you looked. I had to have several items shipped and Renee was such a wonderful help. I highly recommend the store.

A fun, eclectic offering of merchandise at Nest — always something new. Great place for a unique gift or for that one piece that you couldn’t quite find to complete a room in your home. The owner, Renee, is very gracious, as is everyone who works with her. They will have a cup of tea ready for you and a treat for your dog. In addition to the variety of items as described in other reviews, Renee offers beautiful fresh flowers on the weekends.

Nest is such a cute store! My husband and I went in here after our lunch at Two Dog Diner and were so glad we came in! We found a neat artisan doggie shampoo soap & some cute bath salts for my mom. They also have SO many neat art pieces for decorating your house and garden! I only wish we weren’t moving so soon so we could have bought more. The owner, Jan, is very friendly too and seems like a genuinely good & down to earth person. Her pug pups are cuties too! If we have time before we leave, we’ll be going back(or on trips back here)! Highly recommended!
