Went in and was greeted dryly to begin with. We were taken to the bar area and it was dark. I requested a seat near the window, the manager told me they were all dirty and the other side had no servers(funny). He said it was the ambience(i dont need romance i need to eat). Five minutes later, other people came in and they were placed where we requested to be placed. The chicken fried steak was horrible, the vegetables were great. My waitress was great. My friend said his 11oz steak was great. Maybe they make you eat in the dark so you cant see what the crap looks like. I will NOT be returning. Chili’s and Abblebee’s will get my money.

What a great menu and the 8 oz with all you can eat shrimp was awesome. Thanks josh for the great attention. The shrimp was always hot and kept coming. Cooked perfectly and great cocktails too.

Went in for drinks and ordered appetizer and they brought bread to the bar. The blooming onion was fine but the bread was DRY! We ordered dinner to go… it was TERRIBLE!!! My husbands steak was RAW… He asked for medium. The Mac n Cheese had NOSAUCE. It was curly dry noodles. My steak dry and no flavor. Spent a bunch of money for nothing. However I had the Key Lime Martini at the bar and it was awesome!!! I wouldn’t recommend anything but the Key Lime Martini!

I went with a friend and ordered a Cobb salad. I specifically said no meat of any type — that I was a vegetarian. The waitress was very friendly and said no problem. The meal arrived and was covered in something red that looked like meat. I am highly allergic to beef and pork. I asked her if that was bacon on top. She said no that it was balsamic vinegar. The entire salad was covered in bacon. I will never return to this restaurant and would not recommend for anyone else to either. Who knows what will be in your meal?

My friend and I decided to eat here for the first time a couple weekends ago. We were both greatly impressed! The wait wasn’t long, our server Shelby was attentive, and the food was damn good! From the appetizers to the main dish they did not disappoint! We will be returning.

This is not the best Outback… and I love me a good Outback. I am from the DFW area up until a couple of years ago and I am not impressed with what should be a booming restaurant in Longview. The people may be nice here but the food is late and lacking and the table and bar services are slow. I rarely get a night out with my husband alone with us having a baby and I felt like this was a waste of my precious time and caloric intake. Currently on the hunt for another steakhouse that serves Prime Rib.

Great casual yet chic décor and ambiance. We ordered crispy shrimp and lobster bites as an appetizer, which was promptly served and delicious. The bread was also fresh and warm when served. My husband ordered the Bloomin’ Steak with fries and I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich lunch special with a side Cesar salad. Our server was excellently attentive with our glasses never dipping below halfway. It had been 45 minutes since we’d ordered our food and we were still worrying for our entrees. The server came over to apologize for food taking so long and that she’d asked the manager to come speak with us. The manager apologized and said she would comp our appetizer, which was accommodating. I LOVE the fact that the server initiated all of this instead of waiting for the customer to complain and ask for something to be done. Once the entrees were served we dug right in and it was delicious! As we finished our meal the waitress came back and explained that the manager had comped the entire mall and sends her apologies! How very gracious! We tipped 30% of what we would have paid to the waitress and we’ll definitely be back! Great job Jilayna R!

I was passing through town for work so decided to stop. I was greeted by a pleasant happy fellow that I believe actually said he was one of the«maître d’s» for evening? Not sure if he was kidding but he was friendly regardless. It took almost 10 minutes for a server to come to my table… they were all busy standing on either side of the bar talking to each other. A couple of waitresses were even playing with each other’s hair — not the ones I’d want to be touching my food. I usually eat at Outback in Addison about once a week. I’ve been addicted to the bone on ribeye lately — yes there are better steakhouses but for $ 25, you can’t beat the bone in ribeye… typically. You also get 2 sides — doesn’t get better than that in a pinch! The horseradish topping was greasy and not as flavorful as the other locations I’ve tried. The veggies were overcooked and the ribeye was fattier. All in all– the meal was very bland. :-( They also didn’t have the $ 4 bar menu on the table like most locations do. I had to ask for it. I recommend the«Little Bloomey Merlot» for $ 4 — served in the bar area only. I prob won’t return to this location.

Suppa! Got there early enough not to be late but late enough for the wait. We always try to sit in the bar area. 1. Because the service is always betta in there, and; 2. Open sitting. If there is an open table, it’s yours. … Two tables open! Winning!!! And as mentioned, the service was good. Beer was never empty. The plates were taken away timely. And the food, steaks and lobster, was good. We eat here regularly. We’ve known some of the staff for years.(Thanks Scott!)

Filet and lobster with blackberry sangria. The filet was so tender, no knife needed. The lobster was small but tasty. Very nice waitstaff.

I tried to order the babyback ribs and was told they were out. It wasn’t late at night, 5:15 pm, come on! So, I ordered something else with a salad and rice as the sides. The rice was like three bites. As, I was eating couldn’t help but here another customer complain his shrimp and vegetables were ice cold. Don’t waste your time! Go to Texas Roadhouse instead!!!

This was very disappointing. My husband had a lunch ribeye that was at least 1⁄3 fat and gristle. His tea was almost as clear as my water. Our food was dropped off and no one ever checked back with us. My husband had to get up to get someone to bring him ketchup and steak sauce. The«Aussie» fries were less then average. I got the prime rib dip, no dip brought with it, so by the time we got our condiments the food was lukewarm at the best. Next time will wait in line at the Roadhouse right up the street.

Super slow service. I won’t be going back to this restaurant. The wait staff was hanging around chatting by the kitchen. While waiting 50 minutes to get our salads, I had to make a stop outside for a minute. On my way I overhead another waiter apologizing for the slow service(the issue wasn’t just our waiter). We went to this same restaurant three weeks ago and got the same slow service. It wasn’t busy either time. There seems to be a systemic issue(management?) with the service. Go down the street to Roadhouse if you want to eat in a reasonable amount of time.

Super slow service. We were on the road and it literally took over an hour. We ordered the new wales sangria. The waitress had never heard of it. I had to show her that yes it was on the menu. We had them remake it 2 times but it didn’t taste right. After dealing with the sangria for atleast 30 min our waitress finally took our food orders! Everything else was fine after that but geez it shouldn’t take hours to eat on a slow Thurs. night!

This place is a regular dinner spot for me when visiting Longview. I work ½ miles down the street and the hotel is just across the street so it’s super convenient. I’ve been trying to eat healthier so I stay away from the«good» stuff like bloomin’ onions, lamb or steak. My new regular meal here is: 2 lobster tails, scallops, with steamed veggies. Service is mostly good. Drinks take a bit but bread and food comes out decently fast.

We visited this Outback location for the first time on Friday. I’ve been to other Outbacks before, so I knew what to expect. We were there for a pre-graduation ceremony dinner, so there were seven of us there. We made sure to get there before the dinner crowd started, because we didn’t want to be too much trouble. Even though we got there when there weren’t many other customers, we still seemed to have problems. When I asked if I could have a strawberry-flavored iced tea(which is clearly in their menu, under their«spirit-free» mixed drinks), I was given a funny look and told they had no such thing… when I pointed it out on the menu, the waiter scratched his head and said he’d ask about it… and when he returned, he said that they could«make something like it» for me, but they didn’t have enough to make more than one, so I couldn’t get refills. I didn’t want him to go through a lot of trouble, so I chose something different, though I wondered why it was on the menu if they couldn’t even make it(I suppose no one else orders them?) Our appetizers came promptly and were perfect. Everything else was going smoothly until our actual entrees arrived – one of our party had ordered the teriyaki-glazed steak, and they brought her a normal, plain steak. She was pretty disappointed, but the server who brought it out was very sweet and brought her a cup of the teriyaki glaze to put on the steak herself, and she said she enjoyed it a lot. Other than that, everything worked out just fine. I’ve been to a couple of really terrible Outbacks in my day, so this was great compared to some. My only warning is that this location seems like bigger tables give them a little bit of trouble. Other than that, an overall good experience.
