Texas Roadhouse

The food is pretty good. The only reason I am giving a three star review is because I found a long nasty hair in my salad. After reporting it, they replaced the salad, but took forever to bring me another.

My wife and I ate here last night on our way to a high school football playoff game. We had an excellent waiter named John. He knew we were in a hurry and took care of us accordingly. He took our drink order and repeated it saying I asked for water and I actually had ordered a Diet Coke. The rest of the time he and I joked about how cloudy the water was. He was very personable and made the experience even better. The food was terrific and and was brought out in a timely manner. Both of our steaks were cooked just like we ordered. The grilled shrimp was pretty good for a non seafood place. The fried pickles were good but not the best I’ve ever had. Loaded mashed potatoes were very good. Just like a baked potato with out having to fix it yourself. Only thing was that steamed veggies were pretty hard but still tasted good

Love coming here! Randome seems like I always spot pro athletes there one day a guy from the ravens football team and a pro mma fighter the last time we went! The staff is great we always ask for Kendra she’s the best!!! My favorite item is the salad which is weird but sometimes I crave that salad! It is a hearty salad with eggs and cheese and croutons! The rolls r always fresh and amazing!!!

My wife and I at at Outback until Texas Roadhouse came to town. After our first trip there we have never been back to Outback. Texas Roadhouse has great steaks, salads, potatoes, and everything else. We have been eating there for years now, and we have never had a bad steak. The wait staff is always attentive although the place is always packed. That happens in good places. You can’t go wrong eating here.

Texas Roadhouse, it’s an affordable steakhouse, I’ve been to this restaurant all over the states and it’s always consistent. This restaurant isn’t different then most atmosphere or food wise. Both were on point. I had the roasted chicken, that’s right, chicken at a steak house… it’s friggen awesome, was seasoned and cooked perfectly, green beans, a must have if you are into green beans. My two colleagues had ribs and chicken as well. They also were satisfied with their meals.
Where this TX road house differs for most other Road Houses was the staff. First and foremost, our waitress was on point with our drinks, appetizer (fried onion) and eventual our main course. I say eventually because to their standard, the timing was unacceptible. The manager, without provoking, came up to our table while we waited for dinner, apologized for the untimely delivery of our food and offered a substantial discount for the inconvenience. I gladly accepted her offer, however, my colleagues and I looked at each other in confusion. We had sat socializing for no more then a beer or two. The timing of food was on point in all our opinions. Our waitress, Michelle (didn’t catch her last name) was super sociable, super attentive, striking up entertaining conversation throughout our complete meal without being overwhelming or provoked. She legitimately wanted to talk with us about this, that and the other and wanted to know what we thought of our meals. Overall, I give this restaurant 2 thumbs up due to the service I received, great job guys-​food was great as well–

Good steak, good food, great rolls. This Texas Roadhouse is good, but not amazing. I came here when I was a child, and it was better then I think.

Yes, Texas Roadhouse! Texas Roadhouse is my favorite affordable steak restaurant and while I’ve thoroughly enjoyed their locations in Houston and Austin, this one is no different. The atmosphere is energetic with friendly service and the cinnamon-​butter rolls were amazing as always! Usually I lean away from change, but this time I opted to try their Beef Tips instead of my usual Ribeye. Oh, that’s not that different? Hey, I still wanted beef… baby steps.
If you want a delicious beef alternative to steak that’s more affordable, definitely go for the Beef Tips. I love how I can choose to have mine cooked medium rare and that it comes with mushrooms and onions, which cost extra when getting steaks. Good deal? You bet! The cuts of steak are really good and tastes essentially like regular steaks that are cut up for you. The mushrooms and onions? Cooked perfectly. My only complaint is that I value the natural taste of everything on my plate, especially the beef. I felt that the gravy that was added to the beef, mushrooms, and onions was too salty and ended up masking the true flavors. I can see myself getting this dish again, but maybe next time I’ll ask for less gravy. In terms of quantity, I was full at the end, so no worries there.

This is by far the best steakhouse I’ve ever been to. The food was delicious and prepared exactly the way I ordered it. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone that wants a superb meal for a reasonable price.

We just finished eating our take out order. The food was spot on! It was so delicious. Ribeye was perfectly cooked. Nice grill lines, even cool red center. It was devoured! Chicken was great also. Nice and moist! Not dry and not raw. Order was spot on. We received everything exactly as we ordered. No mistakes. My compliments to the chef and who packed out order.

Food is good… wait time is always ridiculous… Ready for another steak house to be in town. There’s always a problem with seating if there is more than 4 of us. We wait an hour or longer to be seated separately…

Food was okay, the menu wasn’t that great. I got the chicken fingers with corn and mashed potatoes. The server was nice but a little too eager to get our table turned over. It was just 2 of us and she brought the check halfway through our meal and kept coming back while we were eating trying to get the bill settled? That was weird. Rolls and butter was the were part of the meal.

The food was good but I guess I got my hopes up cause it definitely wasn’t the best sirloin steak ive ever had. But i did like the atmosphere.

Great food! The rolls with cinnamon butter are to die for! Our waitress recommended a specialty drink that was amazing… and their service was surprisingly fast. If you’re staying at any one of the many hotels nearby, this is the perfect place for lunch or dinner. There dinner specials before 6pm are really good, as is their happy hour 5pm-​7pm. Happy eating :)

Tonight the good was awesome. Had a steak and ceaser salad and the cactus blossom as an apportioned. It’s their version of outbacks blooming onion. The steak was cooked good but just too much fat and the appetizer was a little too greasy. Had great yeast rolls like always.

This food is great but expect to wait. There is a terrible noise level so if you wasn’t to talk, this is not your place. Great choices-​love the sweet potato for a new side. If you want consistently great food, the Roadhouse will disappoint!

Good food. Atmosphere is lively. Beer is cold. Food is good. Good variety of grub. Good service. And Willie is affiliated with the organization. What’s not to like.
You really can’t go wrong eating here.

PRO: Good steak (tender, cooked proper: rare is grey only on the outside and «blue» on the inside), other main courses are equally good (even the salad), staff is friendly and attentive.
CON: very busy (pagers are available)

It is what it is and fortunately they are consistent. There aren’t very many choices in Longview for good restaurant food, especially when you have a large party. The staff was pleasant and the food was good. I recommend checking the meat counter before ordering. It’s in the front by the entrance. When I went the ribeye looked the ‘healthiest’ and out of my group I won the prize for most eatable steak.

Wait staff is very friendly and it’s a decent steak.
