McDonald’s

Credit Cards always seem to be down late at night and they only accept cash. Seems like a excuse not to work for the employees

I’m kind of shocked myself. I’ve been in here a handful of times and had mediocre service at best and probably a 50% success rate on having my order correct.
Came in this evening as a treat for my son and was quite happy to find a happy, smiling, cheerful and proactive manager working and interacting with the staff. She was courteous, and friendly made eye contact and smiled!!! Quite the nice change from the typical gloomy reception.
Tables were clean, floor was tidy and, most importantly our order was correct :)

This place is completely horrible. The order is always wrong and with a bad attitude to go with it.

Terrible food… seriously, and the blond running the drive thru was rude and pretty much threw the food into the car window. 9÷20÷2015 1245 am. If you don’t like your job. Get a different one. Good grief.
Your new chicken sandwich was a joke. Flat and dry with 1 small tomato and 1 small, sad piece of lettuce.
Reminds me of why we only eat McDonald’s when it’s a last resort.

I never go to mcdonalds unless it is late at night and its the only thing open but this one regularly stops accepting credit cards after midnight. makes zero sense as I have never seen this anywhere else. Cash only all the time. It makes me think employees are skimming.
Food is subpar even for a mcdonald’s.

Dismall. I only go here when people force me to and i say that the food will be cold and wrong and everytime its cold and wrong. I get that McDonald’s isnt a classy joint but i can expect thpse two things from McDonald’s until i came here. If you can avoid it go somewhere else. Burger King on Lorton isnt the best but their food is hot and accurate.

No ice in either fountain drink dispensers and had to repeat order when food came out. Drive to another one.

Unfortunately every time I come here my order is Wong. How do you get a plain mcchicken and a Med fry wrong? I open my bag and it’s a Burger and a small fry. And the staff is horrendous one lady that works there is rude and talks back like it’s your fault they can’t get an order right.

Are you serious? It’s mccdonalds not a five star restaurant. Food is just like every mccdonalds, if the fries are cold I send them back

Nothing really spectacular about the restaurant. Good place to go to if you need a McDonald’s fix…
Very much in line with all the other restaurants in the chain…
Went through the drive-​through. Ordered some breakfast sandwiches.
Service was fast…
Outside area was neat…
The staff was courteous …
Variety of food on the menu was consistent with rest of the chain …
Quality of sandwiches were also good and consistent for a McDonald’s.

After reading all of the negative Unilocal posts for this McDonald’s, I’m thinking why ain’t it closed?
Speaking for myself, I have never had a problem with the service and the food.
The building and location is problematic for me. The restaurant is quite small and located on the edge of the parking lot in a fairly busy strip mall. It has been my observation that most customers come in, buy food then leave, so the dining area is empty most of the time. The bigger problem is the encircling drive-​thru. Customers on foot have to constantly be on their guard.

It’s Mickey D’s. It’s gonna be what it’s gonna be.
I visited this location with my wife and daughter on a Thursday morning around 11 AM.
There were two things about this particular visit that I wanted to point out. One good and one bad.
1. Good: the staff was incredibly efficient. nobody seemed to wait around for more than a minute or two for their orders.
2. Bad: they accidentally forgot to sweeten the sweet tea at the beverage station. When informed of this oversight, the staff told my wife that they would bring out some more. We were there for bout 10 more minutes during which the new sweet tea did not make an appearance. However the staff made zero efforts to remove the mislabeled tea nor inform customers that it was not sweetened tea. I imagine a lot of the take out customers had a disappointing surprise when they went to sip their drinks later.
It’s McDonalds, even though I hate it, I know I’ll probably be back sometime, and I’ll still hate it.

I live in the area so this is the McD’s that I usually come to from home. Unfortunately, every single visit to this McDonald’s has been a big disappointment. Workers clearly don’t want to be there, much less serve any customers. And the food quality, even for a fast food restaurant, is really … bad. I got the jalapeño burger from there today and yeah… I’ve had this burger two other times at other locations and they put at least a layer of the pickled and crispy jalapenos, and here, they just put three. But I was surprised that they even got the order right when I came here today, that’s pretty rare. I was already upset with the negative attitude that the two cashiers that «assisted» me there. My boyfriend asked for some sweet & sour sauce today and the cashier just gave him a look, slammed in the register and took it and dropped it in our bag. Why you gotta be so rude?

Wow this place is a joke!!! 30 min wait on drive through & still no service. They kept saying «wait.» Many patrons, including myself just turned away. I see 3 employees in there, one through window just standing there. Wow!!! Not exactly fast food! This occurred at approx 0210 AM.

This place is awful. It is dirty and the service is horrendous. They hire just anyone and don’t train them. I only go there when I have no other practical choice. Lorton is growing and mcdonalds corporate should do something about this place

ME: «A small ice coffee with no cream no sugar is close to 2 bucks but a any size hot coffee, including large, is a buck?»
GUY: «Yes sir»
ME: «You’re just putting ice which is free over there at the soda fountain machine. Just use the regular coffee I don’t want premium I just want ice cause its 90° outside.»
GUY: I’m sorry sir, there’s nothing I can do.“
ME: «Ok, may I please have 1 large coffee BLACK and only fill it up 75%»
I then fill it up with ice. My way of STICKING IT to the man. Ya so what I get slightly burned from hot coffee jumping out my cup from the ice splashing in but it’s all about the principle people.
Most of the Unilocal reviews are JUST AWFUL here. At the time I wrote this, this place had an average of ONE star. That’s pretty bad. I’d give it one star too if it wasn’t for the nice and kind people who are forced to play by the rules (no matter how silly the rules are) and on top of that they have to deal with difficult people like me. They’ve always been so nice to me and I’ve lived in the area for over a decade. I’ve seen it all at this McDonald’s.
I’ve seen this place go through floods, power outages, credit card machines go down, bathrooms broken, no TVs, TVs installed, and during the gigantic blizzard a few years ago they were the ONLY place open. No matter WHAT the reviews say this McDonald’s will keep on going.
The food is McDonald’s. Let’s face it. It’s crap. It looks like crap, it will make you feel like crap 30 minutes later BUT it’s so damn good. What’s better than All American Big Mac, large fries, and a diet coke? (Gotta be diet coke… I’m on a diet…) The answer is NOT MUCH fast food wise.
This place and I have been through a lot together over the years. During the toughest times in my life they always seem to have Monopoly going on.

Food was typical McDonald’s but we had to explain the order 3 times
The big issue with this location is the size and the atmosphere. The establishment was VERY small and all but 3 tables were occupied by people who weren’t even eating. Normally I wouldn’t blame the company for this but the employees were all hanging out and being loud with them. I was there at around 6pm when the business would normally be busy and the drive thru was but inside there was no where to sit. My family and I were traveling and REALLY wanted to be able to go in and take a seat for a while.
I will give them credit that the food was pretty well up to code, the employees seemed friendly enough, and the restaurant was clean.

I really don’t like coming here… ever, but when time is running low and you have an empty refrigerator fast food places are a God send. Hopeful my check-​in count here will never among to me being a regular. I really don’t like the food here, but it’s edible.

Horrible, disgusting disgrace of a mcdonalds. The women’s room was covered in toilet paper, the soap dispenser cover was broken off and laying on the sink, the floors were filthy. The men’s room toilet clogged beyond a one time use, it clearly had been clogged for awhile. My husband and my fries were late, and pretty crunchy but that can happen at any restaurant during dinner… We didn’t even finish our food because there was food all over the floors and tables. No one was busing or cleaning tables between patrons. There were at least 3 employees near the front and the order line wasn’t long enough to need them all. Someone should have been taking care of the filthy sitting areas and disgusting bathrooms. Or at least closing the swinging counter-​height door between the employees and patrons… Which was standing wide open the entire time we «ate».
I over heard a lady ask for the store number. To which the ordering employee asked why? She said she wanted the store number and never got a receipt (we didn’t get a receipt either). The employee again asked why she needed the store number – clearly not willing to give it – and the lady said she needed it to file a complaint and the employee refused to give it to her. The lady said she would complain another way. At that point we were done with the store. We just gave up, threw what was left of our food out, and left.
This store needs serious help. I am now questioning the quality of the food I did eat.

Awful!!! I rather drive 15 miles down the road to ANY other McDonald’s! The woman at the window couldn’t speak English!
