This year was my second time attending and I must say I absolutely love it! I really enjoy the fact that the festival takes place all around the city in cool local establishments such as The Echo, Echoplex, Oragami Vinyl, TAIX, etc. There are also outdoor stages set up such as the one located next to TAIX and plenty of restaurants and bars open for individuals to indulge in. The music is always super original and enjoyable. I always find myself having absolutely no idea who the musicians in the line-up are and walking out with a list full of new bands to further look into and enjoy. Have I mentioned that attending the festival is absolutely free?! Total deal maker for me. It is also easily accessible for anyone taking public transportation(Metro Purple Line is located not too far away from the festival). There is also a very cool puppeteer that gives a pretty impressive show. I personally have only seen him there once but according to my friend he’s there every year so, I definitely recommend tracking him down and enjoying a show. Cool live-music, plenty of happy people, and local great establishments. This festival has it all. Can’t wait to attend again next year!
