Stopped by bc of the glowing Unilocal reviews and my friend and I were not disappointed. The tuna melt on rye was delish and huge — I ended taking half of it home. The anti-flu is pretty good too though it’s a bit more lemony than green juices that I’m used too. The girls working were super nice.

I actually really liked this place. Owner is there making the sandwich. The gal working the register made awesome lattes. The sandwiches were awesome and the fresh fruit was actually fresh fruit. I’m good with this place if you need to make a quick stop and looking for good Sammy and Coffee

Reggie is such a friendly human! The Cobb salad is delicious, but the ANTI-FLU is deeeeelicious. I love the combination. It’s so sweet! I hope there isn’t any sugar or sweeteners in there! The Italian panini is really good as well. Everyone should try it.

Place is good, but not great. Pricing is OK, but not one $. Still haven’t figured out how they have 5 stars. I am just rating average, or maybe slightly above. I’ve tried their BLT and was not impressed. Bacon was overlooked, a little bland, and lacking. Tried the hot pastrami and it was much better. However, they forgot the mustard and I had to ask. They were also very light on the cheese(a single paper thin slice of provolone) and the pastrami(maybe three thin slices). I haven’t tried the juices that everybody seems to rave about. They do look and sound good(with the exception of one with parsley because of a weird food alergy). That may up my rating if I’m feeling under the weather and need an «Anti Flu» kick. Not my first choice but, like I said, ok…

In town on vacation and wanted something local. Reggie ’ s Deli & Café was the perfect way to start the day. Everything was made fresh upon ordering and the staff were super friendly. Also, in the land of $ 14 eggs, this was the perfect price point. Can’t wait to come back on future visits.

Visiting the LA area for a conference, I gave Reggies a try since it had rave reviews… it did not disappoint! I had a simple bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a croissant, I thought that was pretty standard but Reggie took it up a notch and asked if I liked spice, which I said yes, and he added a spicy aoili on the sandwich plus lettuce and tomoato… Wow! the crunch of the fresh lettuce combined with the spicy creamy aoili and the decadence of the egg, made this one of the best egg sandwiches I have ever had! I was So surprised at how good it was. And Reggie has a super great personality and greats allow his customers with a contagious smile. Also coffee is solid! Smooth and delicious. All for a great price.

I love this place! I work around the area and I’m so happy that I found a good sandwich/gelato shop. They also make an amazing veggie soup. Everyone at my job loves Reggie’s.

Bored of my typical«go to» neighborhood delicatessens and with attempt at branching out a bit to explore additional options… as always, I sought to Unilocal for solace and wouldn’t ya’ know it? Up popped«Reggie’s Deli & Café». Anyone that knows me, likely knows of my pregnancy hankerings and can just as easily vouch for the fact of my being willing to travel near and afar for damn good pastrami and cold cuts. Sadly, at the time of my order I’d just returned from my parent’s place in BFE to drop off Mom’s «Mother’s Day» gifts) and while this deli is located just around the corner from me/us, resting on Sunset… traveling back out was simply NOT an option. For the unfamiliar, Reggie’s has collabbed with Eat24 to make ones’ experience when ordering THATMUCHMORESTELLAR! The downside to this is that Eat24’s only option was for«pick up», requiring me to phone in. Upon my doing so, I was a bit taken aback. The phone call itself was altogether CHARMING and I derived a bit of «Seinfeld» nostalgia. After gabbing about this, that and the other,… I was politely advised to make use of GrubHub for delivery… yadda yadda, …and thereafter, Kramer would arrive to drop off the food. Ordered the«Hot Pastrami Sub» — $ 9.70, as well as the«Submarine Sub» — $ 9.70 and a $ 4.95 supply of «Macaroni salad», I believe to have been at/around ½ pound. While my order was no more than $ 30.00(delivery and tip inclusive), drop off was estimated as being 45 – 55 minutes. No biggie, I thought. I’ll just put on the«Seinfeld» — Soup Nazi episode as I wait. #no-soup-for-YOUUUUUU! No sooner than I pressed play and all of 10 – 15 minutes later my cell phone rang with someone attesting to having been knocking at the gate. Who the heck could this be??? Opportunity-!!! Having already tipped through GrubHub, I was inclined to do such again for the overall expedience of things. It’s virtually as if this place had prepare the food from my very own kitchen! Thereon, I was presented an absolute spread. Each entrée was presented with all of the trimmings; from sliced pickles to cucumber salads and after downing another half sandwich sandwich last night, I’ve still got another half left for tonight as well; total investment, if you ask me. While I’ve likely consumed higher caliber pastrami within the past, in addition to the 2 stars I’m affording for customer service, I’m affording 2 more for presentation and another for punctuality!!! Suffice it to state, this was a DEFINITE bookmark to my faves– list. Reggie, …consider me your newest REGGIE-lar!!! [see what I did there???]

Oh man. Are you ready for this? Anti Flu– A serious must have– I totally felt like I was drinking everything my body needed Best after a «fat kid date» or just when you feel like your body hates you. Everything else is super fresh & delicious. I either get the pastrami or something vegetarian.(ok, the vegetarian part was a lie but, I always try to order vegetarian). Or an egg white breakfast bagel with cheese and bacon. I order thru Eat24BUT… They have an app now that you can order online and save $$$. Do it. I’m try it out today. Not only is this super delicious food but Reggie is the man. I was born and raised in LA and moved away to New England for several years before I came back. Reggie, reminds me of the shop owners, who took the time to get to know me, who knows my regular order. This guy is in business because he is passionate about what he does and it shows through the food and the service he and his team provide. Thank you Reggie– We love you!

Service here was great — the man who took my order and made my sandwich was kind and enthusiastic to ring me up. But as for the sandwich, there wasnt much he could do with the poor quality of meat and cheese, flat, cold bread, and old lettuce, but try and mask it in a river of mayonaise. I wouldnt come here again.

Well, decided to visit this place for my breakfast. Read few reviews, sounds amazing. My experience: 1) service was good, no complaints 2) food-didn’t impress me at all. Average sandwich, like you can get in «subway». I ordered a lunch special, soup came cold and tasteless. Not a 5 star for sure. Hope to see guys some improvements. P.S please don’t use microwave to make eggs, even-though its a commercial one. Thank you.

Reggies is a close walk from my apartment, and the perfect place to grab a quick bite. Reggie himself makes your food, and he loves every minute of it. I love supporting businesses like this– good people that love what they do. Prices are super reasonable. $ 9 for half a sandwich and a salad, and I don’t think I’ve ever been able to finish everything. It’s not gourmet, it’s not the best sandwich or salad I’ve ever had, but damn, that turkey pesto panini is delicious. Grab yourself a good quick lunch and head down to the park, which is like a 2 minute walk. Skip the lines and the wait at Square One at the Boathouse. Go Reggie!

Enjoyed a work from home day at Reggie’s Deli & Café. The wifi is great and the wrap + soup lunch combo was delicious and flavorful. I love the people who work here. I think it was Reggie that brought my food out to my table and the folks in the back feel like good honest people. Warm smiles, genuine care… it’s like all the issues in the world disappeared. So many«Thank Yous» so many gestures of appreciation for patronizing. I love it. I hope this place stays around for a while and that higher rents don’t kick them out. We need businesses like these to keep the area charming and special.

I have been picking up pressed juices from Reggie’s all month. I am so excited to have them in the neighborhood. They have good sandwiches and aren’t shy with their portions. I have been eating their bagel and lox plate, which is excellent and always hits the spot. Not to mention, Reggie himself is there and always very attentive with the customers. If you go in the afternoon, you may find a bit of wait time, it always seems busy after 2PM for some reason. There is street parking available, generally you will have to drive around a little for a spot, but if you don’t mind a little walk, you can always park in the public parking structures a couple blocks down the street.

The reviews were accurate. The staff here is excellent!!! My pesto chicken was good. The chicken noodle soup was not special. The mocha was good. If I were in this area again, I’d stop by once more.

I love Reggie’s! You’ve got to try the Lox plate here because it’s so delicious. Plus, everyone here’s so friendly. I’ve tried the Mexican Mocha and the iced chai latte. Both are delicious. This place is definitely a must try!

When I think of Reggie’s Deli & Café, I’m immediately reminded of Cheers or the Central Perk from Friends. A place that gives off good vibes, friendly atmosphere, and an overall welcoming energy. It’s no wonder that Reggie’s has a near perfect 5-star rating! We were greeted warmly by Reggie himself as we walked through the doors, and all the workers and staff were incredibly friendly on a late Sunday morning. Reggie’s specializes in sandwiches, although the juices and gelato seem to come highly recommended. There’s also wraps, salads, and breakfast sandwiches as well. They also offer a lunch special where you get half of a sandwich or wrap with a pint of soup or a salad for $ 8.95. My friend and I decided to just order two sandwiches and split it 50⁄50 so that we’d be able to try two sandwiches in one visit. Food: We actually ordered Chicken Pesto panini and the Turkey Pesto panini, but when our orders came out, we realized that we didn’t get the Turkey Pesto but the turkey club instead. It wasn’t a big deal and luckily the sandwich was quite tasty. Both sandwiches came with a cucumber salad and a pickle. Out of the two sandwiches, I would say that I enjoyed the chicken pesto much more, just because it had pesto in it. With all the ingredients on toasted bread, the combination worked really well. The turkey breast wasn’t too spectacular — I think better than your average Subway sandwich, but nothing amazing. It was loaded with fresh ingredients and tasted good, but I was a bit disappointed that we didn’t get the turkey pesto like we had originally wanted. Ambience: There’s plenty of tables outside the deli as well as a few inside if you want to avoid the ever-changing LA weather. It’s a nice place to people watch or catch up with a friend. With all the open windows, Reggie’s definitely gives off a comfortable and homey vibe. I saw many patrons trickling in and greeting Reggie, something that is awesome to see as it shows he really cares about his customers. They do have a happy hour gelato deal if I remember correctly. They’re located next to Brite Spot Diner and a few blocks away from Echo Park. There’s plenty of street parking if you don’t mind walking a few minutes. Credit cards are also accepted! tl;dr — Your typical TV favorite diner brought to life in LA pretty much — a place where everybody will know your name if you frequent the diner more than once. Staff is incredibly friendly and the food is good. I’d recommend the Chicken Pesto panini, but I’ve also heard the juices and gelato are really good! I’m glad I can be their 100th reviewer!
