Nice little coffee and tea shop. Decided to try grab a drink on my day off. Got the Early Grey Crème tea. The barista recommended to add some coconut milk in the drink. I have to say I’m not used to these type of drinks because I usually go to Asian tea shops, but this drink was enjoyable!

Being the coffee addict that I am, I have to say this place is great. They have a good variety of flavored coffee drinks at a reasonable price. They also customize your drink, in case you don’t see what you want on the menu. They also sometimes have doggie treats. Very small place and friendly staff. Beats Starbucks.

Awesome coffee and Porto’s pastries. What more can you ask for? Plus, no ridiculous lines like other overhyped coffee shop chains popping up everywhere. And Soy and almond milk for free! Limited outdoor seating though, and no cover. But if you don’t mind the sun, it’s a super chill place to sit, chat, and watch the hipsters of Echo Park take their dogs out for a walk. Say hi to Christina, the owner, cause she’s a rockstar for bringing Taza to EP!

Best café in Echo Park, seriously. This is not an annoying café where people go and hangout, this is a no-frills, standing room only, serve you the best tasting coffee or latte at a great price. The lady that runs the place knows her stuff and is super friendly.

Taza in Echo Park is a lovely café with great coffee and the people who work there are always friendly and obliging. It is one of the rare café’s in LA that actually does know how to make a café latte(with 2%). Affordable, quality local café that I catch the bus to come buy a latte from on my day off and then go sit in Echo Park by the lake for a chill out. Thanks Taza, please don’t change! I love you just the way you are.

so full disclosure i stole your wi-fi for like 9 months because i lived at the apartment building near by but i won’t tell you which one because i don’t want to get anyone in trouble i will just give you a hint it was literally above the happy tom’s restaurant but i don’t live there anymore so don’t worry but anyway you guys have the slowest wi-fi in the world and sometimes the connection was so bad that it took forever for me to livestream all dogs go to heaven in HD and i have to take advantage of the little joys in life with so much negativity always swirling around me and then you stole away that little bit of time i had to enjoy myself and also one time i came into your store because i felt bad about stealing your wi-fi for so long so i got one of your coffees and it was really overpriced and not very good and the girl working there did not know how to make a quad shot latte which is literally just a latte with extra espresso and i tried to explain that to her and she looked confused and so i offered to come behind the counter and do it for her and she was thought i was joking so she laughed in my face and i did not come here to be laughed at i came to right my wrongs but i didn’t feel bad about the wi-fi thing anymore so i just ordered a regular iced coffee and it was really expensive so that basically makes up for the wi-fi thing and the coffee wasn’t even very good and there was so milk on the counter thing and that is a huge deal breaker for me because i always try to drink as much of my coffee as possible while i’m at the milk bar thing so i can fill my cup with more milk and maximize my beverage but apparently they are not all about giving me free things as evidenced by their weak internet signal and lack of milk so i am very disappointed in you

Went here the other day. Drove and walk past here many times. In a commuter from out of the area. What a wonderful cute and affordable great spot. I had the vanilla latte and the guava cheese pastry. I got both for $ 5 total. Great prices for LA!!! Cute and you get a beautiful view of Sunset. I’ll be back. Friendly service too… thanks ladies!

Lovely coffee shop! Stopped in on a weekday afternoon and the place was empty. Woman working the counter was really nice, and ordering a drink was easy and quick. Very affordable, good quality, and having almond milk available is a nice touch! Highly recommend.

I like coming here; the Coffee is so good; they ussually have a selection ranging from light to dark roast which is rad since I mainly drink Dark Roast. There is a woman there who is a bit awkard and less friendly then the other staff ive ran into before but thats okay.

I have never been to a coffee place in LA that has a better value for what you get. The dark roast coffee is delicious, and a large is only $ 2! The people working there are always really nice, and they even give a teacher discount(50% off)! Sometimes I don’t even tell them I’m a teacher because I worry that if I keep taking their large coffee for $ 1 they will go out of business. It’s not really a place to hang out and get work done on a laptop, but it’s perfect for a cup of coffee to go!

First coffee we had in Echo Park! and we came back! No indoor seating, cute little coffee place with a few tables outside. Enjoy the morning sun in front of Taza. I really like their freshly brewed coffee and it’s only $ 1.75! And their lattes and chocolate croissants are pretty good too(my husbands opinion). Friendly staff and fast service!

I’m not a fan of describing things as «cute» but this place is cute. I only have had their iced coffee, and it’s good! Thanks!

Cute and easy coffee shop and no long waits or hassle. It’s good coffee, not the greatest in town but it’s certainly good. I come here because the service is great. They are consistently so friendly and kind. Just really great people in there and good management. That deserves 5 stars. Plus the coffee is pretty yummy.

Tiny little place on Sunset that serves delicious coffee. I came on a Friday around 11am solely for the Horchata Latte(personal obsession). There is no place to sit here, you could maybe fit three people aside from the cashier inside the place. Check in on Unilocal and you get a free size upgrade. I had my Horchata Latte with almond milk(hot) and it was absolutely delicious. Could have used a little more cinnamon, but overall I really enjoyed it and it was a lot less sweet than many of the ones I’ve had. They have several different baked goods at the front, nothing crazy but they did have some fresh and locally made gluten-free and vegan options(cookies, bars, etc). I think my total was $ 4.00 or so which would be expensive for a small, so I’m glad I got the free upgrade. The girl who helped me was a total doll and I would absolutely return next time I’m in the area.

I stop by Taza every Sunday before church! My drink of choice is their iced soy vanilla latte, but the iced honey vanilla latte is so good that I get it despite my slightly lactose sensitive tummy.(TMI? Sorry!) The shop itself is compact and big enough for a grab and go system. The outdoor seating is limited, but adorable, and perfect for taking in the vibrancy of Echo Park with a library cart full of books that operates on a «take one, leave one» basis. Taza is unpretentious, cozy, and provides great service and delicious coffee!

Taza is my favorite coffee shop in Echo Park! They’ve got great coffee at really great prices. In fact, I can get«my usual»(an iced decaf Americano) for 15 cents cheaper than at Starbucks! My only complaint is that I wish they were open earlier. I have to be at work at 7am, so I have to leave the office during the workday if I want my Taza fix. Would love to be able to swing by on my way in. Tips: They have really yummy vegan banana bread. Soy and almond milks are available free of charge next to the half-and-half and whole milk. Be sure to ask for a rewards card! :)

TL;DR — Never in this neighborhood, but glad I stumbled upon this place! Probably the best latte I’ve had in a while. I used to love BrewWell. The lattes were smooth and tasted happy. Now they are acrid, watered down and sad. Thus, I started my search again for cafes! Taza has the BEST vanilla honey latte. Amazing customer service. Quality all in a cute little shop :] For now, I will go to Taza for my latte fix. Even though its a 20 minute drive away :[

Really good pastries and they made me a perfect dirty chai. The guy seemed kinda out of it but he managed to make an awesome drink so no complaints. Wish the place was a bit bigger so I could have sit in their while I waited for my girl to get her hair done at Refuge.

This place is standing room only. I went on a Sunday afternoon around 2PM. There was only one employee and after several minutes I decided it wasn’t worth the wait. They also do not have whole cream, which I find surprising since this is supposedly a ‘gourmet’ coffee experience.
