You might think this is a poorly-looking Korean restaurant? But that is the whole point of this restaurant. The most authentic Kimchee soup with Anchovi — not with any kind of meat but this little fish for flavoring the soup! — is what you want to eat if you like Kimchee. Side dishes are typical ones one of typical Korean mothers would make in a routine life. Plus, I love their tea — probably, corn husk tea or corn tea or barley tea. Kimchee Jjigae with Myulchi(=Anchovi) joo se yo!

This is a small cozy homely kind of restaurant. The food is ok and during lunch there is a line. I usually get the pork bulgogi with the sam(lettuce). I’ve been here a couple times and it’s good food.

This place is disgusting and the owners are rude as hell to their customers. I was there eating with some friends and I accidentally dropped a spoon. So I asked for another one to the man(also delivery person) sitting around and he gave me this dirty look like I asked for a free lunch or something. I was puzzled as to why he gave me this dirty look as asking for replacement spoons or chopsticks is a common thing in Korean restaurants. Also, before this incident, I also ordered food from this place one time. The guy came and said he tried to call my intercom but I wouldn’t answer. The idiot tried punching in my apt number when I specifically told him on the phone to call my phone instead. He pounds on my door, I open it, and he has this nasty look on his face like he just ate Snooki’s pussy after a sweaty night at the club. Yeah, didn’t really like my experience then either. I’ll never give my hard earned money to these rude owners ever again.

I’m a pretty adventuresome eater but the place smelled like puke. Time to go.

i normally bring my lunch to work, but i didn’t one day so I decided to try this place since i was craving homemade like, basic korean food but at a cheap price and they happened to have a lunch special sale going on at $ 6.99 for a bibimbop. I had it delivered, and it arrived about an hour later but I was excited to see a lot of side dishes, soup and even a fried fish as a side dish! However, this excitement didn’t last too long when i opened the box and saw there were rotten-looking lettuce sitting under my other bibimbop ingredients. What it should have really look like was just plain green cut lettuce, but what was sitting in my plate was thin cut ‘smashed’ lettuce with edges turning brown/red and yellow, and just yuckiest stuff i can ever imagine. I’m a mom, so i just couldn’t believe a restaurant would feed their customers with these trash that no moms can even ever think of feeding their own family with. It just did not look edible and trust me, i’m not a picky person either. What really made me upset is that they tried to hide it under all other bibimbop ingredients(or at least that’s how i felt like they were doing) perhaps hoping that i wouldn’t see it if i just mixed everything in red chili paste. well, this just isn’t right and i don’t care if the restaurant was just trying to save money by using a month old lettuce or what not, but this was the worst $ 6.99 + tax + delivery fee I’ve ever paid in my life! Would never eat from this place again! =( I’m giving 2 stars just because the lady who took the order over the phone was nice and she was even willing to provide delivery service even when I only had 1 dish to order(when they required 2 dishes, though i ended up ordering one more for my co worker)

Ah… not a fancy place, but a very comfortable authentic everyday mom’s Korean food place. I used to ditch classes from USC and come here to have lunch. :) Cheap!
