Came in on a a Sunday mid afternoon. Place is clean and quiet. We decided to dine in although I’m sure most people get this place to go. We ordered tuna kimbap and regular spicy rice cake(we added the $ 2 extra for ramen.) Tuna kimbap — 4⁄5 star Anyone who compares it to their moms or grandmas kimbap are retarded. Of course our moms/grandmas are way better… anyhow i love that it had sesame leaf inside it. Tuna was moist and good in taste. I took a point off because the rice is a little dry in my opinion. Their kimbap is better than most Korean market made kimbap. It was served with a miso type soup. It was bland needed more salt but it’s nice to have, as a palette cleanser. The ttuk poki(spicy rice cake added ramen) was soooo good!!! 5⁄5 would most definitely get this again! Service is kind’ve slow but I feel like most Asian places are unless you flag them down to get what you want. 2 entrees for under $ 18 with soup, daikon, and potato apple pine nut salad was a great deal. Overall I enjoyed eating here and would come back.

I came here because of reading the Unilocal reviews about the tuna Kimbap and I am NEVER coming back. First off, the workers that worked there were extremely rude. They were’nt even busy but seemed like they did want us there. We orders several different types of Kimbap togo and took 20 minutes to get my order! It was an order for 2! not 20! The kimbap itself were cold and rice was hard like it had been sitting out for quite some time. I will not be back.

Average food quality, over priced, and most of all, really really bad service. I’m not coming back here again.

nothing, nobody, nowhere, compares to my mother’s kimbap, so I’m spoiled and picky about what makes an excellent kimbap, but that’s not fair. anyways they made my kimbap to order, even though I ordered simple tuna kimbap, and they’re so quick that I was 20 seconds too late in requesting extra perilla leaves/kken-eep to add into my roll. I must keep that in mind next time to not forget while I’m ordering.

Fail, Tuna & Fish Cake Kimbap. Hard rice and rolls drowned in sodium. Waste of money, not recommended at all.

I have eaten a number of Korean food, but this shop is delicious to the top class. Looks taste is also cleanliness both 5 star. We should also try to eat us.

cham chi kimbap(tuna kimbap) donkatsu kimbap(kat-su kimbap) is a must have. I usually take my food to go, only dine in once. Food is great, not pricey at all. I recommend this place for kimbap than any other places in koreatown.

Best tuna Kimbap around! English efficiency varies but for the most part never had an issue ordering. I’ve eaten in but have mainly had take-out. Prices are very reasonable. Tuna is my favorite. It includes sesame leaf in there that imparts a very specific flavor I very much enjoy. Filling enough for 2 people. Comes with simple miso-like soup. Katsu is okay, has a mayo based sauce that comes included. Fish cake is decent as is sausage rolls. Beef is ground beef based and marinated. This is my go-to place for my to-go quickie takeout meals! Great road trip food. I always try to call in my order 10−15min prior to pick up so that my roll is made fresh. They do have premade orders for drop-ins available throughout the day(tuna, fish cake, beef — the most popular selections).

I come here often because its conveniently located next to my house, and they offer a wide range of food. $ 6 for kimbap, and a place that is named«KIMBAPPARADISE,» its probably safe to assume that their kimbap is going to be absolutley amazing and different, right? To avoid false hope, let me tell you: «the food is… okay.» Do not expect some out of the world experience with the kimbap. For sure its better than the rolls they prepackage and sell at Korean markets, but it definitely did not wow me. Still, it’s convenient so it has become a once a week stop for me. Service is friendly but definitely slow. Me and my friend have an inside joke about this place: «Oh yeah, they’re harvesting the rice right now. Oh yeah, they’re collecting the seaweed from the beach.» Yeah. It’s definitely not the fast-paced service Korean restaurants usually offer, but safe to say, they don’t make it till you order it. Parking is by valet($ 2), but it’s ktown so this is expected.

I’d have to say kimbab paradise is very similar to gaju kimbap! What they have that gaju doesn’t have is definitely their yummy and very spicy cheese dukkboki! They have a very wide selection of different boonshik(Korean street food). Everything is tasty and service is good too! Parking in the PM is usually valet. I always Togo and let the valet dude know that it’s Togo and they won’t charge :) Definitely recommend kimbap paradise for anyone that loves some good boonshik & Korean food for a fair price.

For a place that specializes in kimbap, i thought the two i had were ok. The tuna was average and the sesame leaf one was too crunchy and dry for my taste. I wanted to try the cheese but they didn’t have any ready-made. I prefer gaju kimbap for kimbap so far.

One of my friends introduce this place to me last year and it’s really close to where I live . I never actually sat and ate here but it was always Togo . I like their tuna rolls jalapenos rolls and shrimp rolls Again today it’s Togo for work. They do delivery when you order $ 40.00 for free

I found this place last minute when I Unilocaled for Korean Kimbap. I needed something Korean to eat since I’m in this area, I thought. And I needed it fast. I picked up the tuna and the Katsu kimbap. I ordered the spicy rice cake also with glass noodles to go. I made the mistake of eating after the drive back to work and the hot noodle plate was not a favorable texture. The first few bites I had before starting my drive to OC were good, I recall. Overall, it’s an OK. Nothing exciting from my selections to rave about. Kimbap portions are great, nonetheless. I’ve had better tasting kimbap though at the Korean markets. Parking here is really easy and dining room seems clean and bright. Menu has lots of photos to choose from and I wish I had tried their kimchi fried rice and the dumplings. Maybe one more visit here if I am in the area before I completely write it off.

Small mom and pop joint that have great food! If you like ddukboke(spicy rice cake) get the one with gook mul(soupy). And the vegetable tempura(shredded potatoes, onions, and carrots in a clump) is awesome but remember it is fried and bit oily.

My parents and I were once starving and were desperate for somewhere to eat, so we picked the first place we saw and settled down for dinner. We should have taken the empty restaurant as a sign because it was dinnertime, but we were too hungry to know any better. My dad ordered a rice dish wish beef, my mom ordered the seafood ramen, I ordered the seafood noodle soup, and we ordered the tuna kimbap on the side. Food came out relatively quickly, but to be blunt, none of us were particularly pleased. Typically, my dad really isn’t a picky eater but I could tell that he wasn’t impressed with his rice dish. My seafood noodle soup was quite tasteless, and the meat was rubbery and tough. My mom’s ramen was so spicy she couldn’t enjoy her meal. I’m a spicy food lover so I tried some of her broth, and she was right… the broth was thoroughly unenjoyable. I thought the grossest part of the meal was that the tuna in the kimbap was made from canned tuna – blech. I don’t like giving one star reviews unless the business actually deserves it, so Kimbap Paradise gets another star for their cute décor. Anyways, this goes without saying, but I definitely will not be coming back.

I’ve only ordered to go, but an order of Kimbap is $ 6. You get about three seaweed sheets worth of Kimbap rolls so approx $ 2 each for. Not super cheap but not incredibly expensive. The Kimbap is pretty delicious. Good variety and they have other typical Korean food item you would expect a Kimbap jip would have. Parking is easy, in the 401 Vermont plaza

$ 6 kimbap and small cup of miso soup is a little overpriced, but I wouldn’t care as much if it tasted really good. The kogi(beef) was dry and crumbly. It just tasted old! The rice and veggies were tasty, but the kogi ruined the whole roll for me. Pass.
