this place is open 24⁄7 which is great. the best thing about this place? $ 2.99 sullung tang! yes, it comes with rice and all the little side dishes. but honestly, it wasn’t THAT filling or delicious. it seemed kind of a hassle to get there also. but c’mon, this is such a deal and it’s so much healthier than hamburgers or whatever

How do you call this food? Bunch of MSG/DSG(and other flavor enhancor) loaded«food.» Sure, you can get a bowl of oxtail soup for ~$ 3 but might as well make it at home by adding water and bullion cubes. This stuff isn’t really. Pretty funny how a Unilocaler was talking about the lack of service. How do you expect service at a place that is meant for those on low budgets? If you go to Burger King, do you expect Beluga 000-grade caviar? I don’t think so. Don’t complain about service at a place like this.

Where else in K-town can you get a nice hot bowl of sullungtang for $ 2.75? AND it comes with rice… not to mention all the other free banchan… REFILLABLE. When it comes to ghetto ass good korean food for cheap prices, ohmajip is the place to go.

The service here sucks. It’s a small hole in the wall in a yucky area. There was two ladies running the whole place. If you don’t speak korean, forget about this place. The menu is completely in korean. They do deliver, if you can figure out what you want. The service is bad if you are seated near the window or door. The dishes and utensils are brought over to the people that were closer to the kitchen first. When asked about the $ 3 soups, she just waved her hand and said never mind about that. There are other items on the menu that are served only until late afternoon. The other items, combo plates, fried fish, etc on the menu are the same price as anywhere else. For this type of atmosphere and service, not worth it at all. We walked out. Open 24 hours, no english speakers. Update 1−18−09 Funny, how Brian K complains about a $ 3 bowl of soup tasting like water and bullion cubes. When you order a $ 3 soup, do you expect gold? Newsflash: There are other regular priced items on the menu. Don’t complain about other reviewers complaining at the same time that you are doing your complaining, it just looks stupid.

3am… when you have spent $ 250+ at ktown club for bottle of $ 20 crown and platter of stale fruit… your pockets are empty… barely enough money to put gas in your brand new benz e500… you have ohmajip(mom’s house) to the rescue… it’s korean boon-shik-jip…hole-in-the-wall…small little place with only handful of tables… it’s like cheap korean fast food… and it’s probably one of the cheapest around… food is «okay»…not the best. but worth the cheap prices…
