Overpriced mundane food — you could do better just getting a bagged salad in the grocery store. «Chicken» was this weird pressed stuff — couldn’t even choke it down. Customer service fine, but the quality of food is so poor — won’t be returning.

love love love. Honestly I probably eat here at least 3 times a week. I love that they have a frequent users card! It’s a little pricey, but totally worth it for what you get

Got the southwest chicken salad, it was okay. Too much dressing even though I asked for less dressing. Nothing special, I bought 3 groupons so I have to use them up.

The food here is gross. It reminds me of chop’t in DC except that it sucks. The veggies are decently fresh but the chicken tastes like it comes from a can. Def go to Mendo or Salata over this place.

I’m the type of person who always tries to pack my own lunch for work, but after a night of binge drinking I ended up waking up too late to do anything. Stopped by here to pick up a salad and I was really overwhelmed with the entire process. First, it’s build your own salad so you get SOOOO many options. Options are great, but they don’t allow you to walk down the bar and select so you have to read your choices off a menu. I get it though — if you just pick from the counter a salad can easily come out to $ 20. But I wish there was a scantron-type sheet you can check off so it’s easier. Aside from that, adding additional toppings in your salad is crazy expensive. I got what I considered a pretty basic salad and it still ended up costing me $ 13. Paying $ 13 for a salad is not ridiculous at all — I’ve definitely paid more before. However, the lettuce was all wilted and browning, and not all the ingredients seemed fresh. After my lunch, I ended up feeling sick and my stomach was not happy. It could’ve been the salad. It could’ve just been from drinking hard the night before. Regardless, check-in for a free fountain drink!

I appreciate that this place is open(in theory) on Sundays since I come to the office on the weekends, and they’re supposed to open at 11:00 so I got there at 11:00 and gave them 10 minutes. No one opened the doors so I went to chipotle down the street. Lost my business!

I really want to like this place because I love wraps. But after too many failed attempts, I won’t be going anymore. They charge a premium for ingredients that other nearby wrap places include in the basic wrap price. They forget to add the proper ingredients you’ve added(and paid extra for). Overall, their prices are too high when the competition nearby has something better to offer. Check out Salata for a better tasting wrap at a cheaper price tag.

I ordered through Grubhub. My salad came after an hour and a half without dressing and the restaurant told me they didn’t have time to handle a refund of a side order that I paid for that they ran out of.

Went to Tossed a couple days ago for lunch. I had a Groupon, which prompted me to try this place for the first time. When I walked in, I was impressed by the set up, the menu choices, and the cleanliness. The employees were very sweet, and quick and efficient. I ordered an Asian Chicken salad, and was disappointed. The dressing was very blah, with not much flavor. It was like eating a salad tossed with olive oil, instead of dressing. The portion size is generous, and the ingredients were fresh, but with a salad, the dressing either makes it or breaks it, and it was kind of broken. Since I purchased the Groupon, which was broken down into three vouchers, I’ll be back at least two more times, but I’ll order something else. Perhaps I’ll try a wrap or sandwich, but not another salad.

gross. i was seriously disappointed with my pesto chicken wrap. i was so hungry but when i bit into it, it tasted like the equivalent to hospital food. i don’t know. my co-worker said that her salad was good, so maybe i just ordered the wrong thing. but it was too sweet and the flavors did not go well together. i wanted to try out some new delivery in LA, but i probably won’t be order from them again.

I ordered 2 salads from Tossed for lunch today. We got the Southwest Blackened Chicken Salad and the Asian Chicken Salad. Both were pretty good, very fresh and perfect for lunch. The southwest blackened chicken was definitely better though! What was awesome was how fast their delivery was… We got our salads delivered to our office in less than 30 minutes!

Have only been here once for lunch but won’t be back. Got a Mediterranean Salad but added«Blackened Chicken» for $ 1.99 extra and had them put in baby spinach. So many things wrong with such a simple order. The spinach & romaine was old, had to be more than 3 – 5 days old. The total salad was nearly $ 12, completely overpriced since the vegetables were not fresh at all. The venue is clean and which is a huge plus, the price and quality contributed to the reason why this place was so dead. The customer service was very friendly and helpful. Gave it a shot, don’t recommend this place.

I like Simply Salad better. I went in here with Simply Salad in mind, oh well. The pro is that it’s not as packed as Simply Salad. The con, the sad update is that there is no more parking validation. It’s $ 2 for every 15 min in the garage. Sad face!

Love them! Love when I can go somewhere and put a salad jam together that I can jazz up to be just as healthy as I imagined it to be. Their fixed salads are just as enticing. I had their BBQ Chicken Salad and it was absolutely amazing. Looking forward to going back soon!

This place has great made to order salads. You can get any combo you want of spinach/mixed greens/romaine etc. with a combination of like 30 different veggies and toppings(olives, tomatoes, nuts, cheeses, peppers, beans, etc.) You also can get your choice of protein like chicken, shrimp, etc. It is much like Salata, but much better IMPO. They also have menu salads with a specific set of ingredients if you don’t feel like creating your own. Great healthy lunch option in downtown.

I could have easily gotten this $ 8 sandwich on an airplane. The tuna salad sandwhich is so bland, its like I’m just eating a loaf of cold bread. With some tuna in it. Any a few pieces of arugula. Step it up, Tossed.

I would give 4 stars were it not for the Sherry Wine Vinaigrette that ruined my lunch. I have to believe that perhaps the dressing is rancid, as it tastes and smells like nail polish remover. My salad is so fresh and looks like it would be so satisfying. Too bad it tastes like acetone. I will come back to sample a different dressing… but Tossed, take note! Your sherry vinaigrette is bad enough to knock 2 stars off my Unilocal review.

Worst customer service, worst delivery, it took them 2hr to deliver the food for one block. They promised 20 minutes. The management need to revisit their employee choice. Shame.

Simple salads with many options to customize or turn it into a wrap or sandwich. Each entrée salad/wrap ends up around $ 9 – 11 dollars and you get a lot. I always feel full enough, which is hard to do on just greens. Taste is fresh and good, though sometimes I’d like a little more flavor on some of the salads. It’s cheaper than all the competitors around, and it has ways to customize to your taste. Also always have coupons, loyalty cards, etc. Joni MOGL and get 5% cash back as well. Finally, they have the nicest employees around, by far! They come around to check on you and see if everything is ok, bus your tables, and offer you samples. It’s lovely being a regular here!

I have a confession to make: I had a blind date here at Tossed. It was interesting to say the least… Most people don’t go on blind dates at healthy eateries in downtown LA during the work week, but it was sort of a lunch speed date. Anyhow, I had a pesto chicken wrap and a salad. The salads and sandwiches are decent sized and the food is pretty affordable. I didn’t order any soup, but I hear their chicken soup and the lentil soup are outstanding choices. Its not the largest in terms of portions, but its good enough to hold you over and there are lot of yuppy professionals in downtown who come here for food. My date will be continued this weekend at another restaurant/bar, and so I will see how it goes. For now, I will say this place is pretty good for healthy food in downtown LA!
