One of my local favorites — true authentic Mexican food with great chips, salsa bar, black beans, rice … It’s all good. Camarones a la Diablo is the perfect amount of spice and flavor. We eat in and take out about twice a month!

The burrito is very greasy/oily. I have made burritos at home that taste way better and are way healthier. These are your traditional burritos, but your over-drenched-in-grease burritos. The nachos are good, though. I like them.

Great option for lunch or dinner! Dine in, pick up or door dash are all great options. Quality meats and great sized portions for the price. I’m upset I didn’t discover this taqueria sooner, as we don’t have enough quality affordable ones in the area. Quick, friendly and great service each time I have gone.

This place is amazing!!! They have the best authenticity and healthy Mexican food we have had in a long time! We used them to cater our Super Bowl party. We ordered the carne asada tacos, refried beans, rice, chile verde and the chicken enchiladas. The salsa and the guacamole are out of this world. They are very nice people and very grateful to have your business. We will definitely have them cater many of our events!

All these bad reviews are misleading!!! I live in the east bay and have ate mexican food from all over the bay. I had a carnita burrito and it was one of the best I ever had, no joke… I don’t live near here so it’s probably the last time ill eat here unless I work in the area again… ill dream about this bomb Carnita Burrito!!!

Eat at your own risk. While working nearby my crew and I have tried this place a couple times each thinking and hoping the previous time it’d been a fluke. Nasty, overcooked, tasteless, disgusting. It’s literally made each of us so sick that we now refer to it as… well I can’t say it here. But be warned.

This place is absolutely the worst Mexican restaurant I’ve been to… I’ve never seen a kitchen more disgusting than this one. I’m pretty sure it’s not healthy at all to be cooking in that much filth.

I was dubious walkin into this little taco shop buried in the corner of a Stater Brothers strip mall. Basic fast casual environment with really comfortable wooden arm chairs. It’s obvious it’s been around for a while, which to my mind indicates staying power. After a couple of chicken tacos, beans and rice, I know why — the food is terrific! Moist shredded chicken in fresh tortillas covered with amazing salsa. The beans and rice would be hard to beat. The serve yourself salsa bar had a variety of tasty home made salsas ranging from flaming hot to mild and included an amazing pickled jalapeño, onions, carrots, garlic, onions mix, obviously homemade and delicious. I highly recommend this for lunch, dinner, or just s quick snack. Such a great option to keep from eating at those mediocre chains. Congratulations to this hard working chef –owner!

I’ve driven by this place without coming in for years and I’ve missed out. How Dos Pesos only has 3.5 stars boggles my mind. This place is phenomenal. The fresh fried chips. The salsas. Their fresh fruit drinks. And of course their burritos(including breakfast burritos served all day!) are amazing. My wife won’t try anything else after having the chorizo breakfast burrito, and I’m so content having the pollo burrito again two times in a row. The marinade of the meat is so tasty, the tortilla fresh… it’s all so delicious. And you can tell it’s pretty authentic because you see plenty of Latinos rolling in and they great you with a nice hola! They’re also really friendly. Come on people, you all should be giving this place 5 stars!

Love this hole in the wall place. Great Enchiladas Verdes and a super interesting Pico de Gallo salsa. Friendly owner and family who always has smiles for regulars — even if «regular» means you come in once every two months or so.

Came here thinking, Mexican Food in Los Gatos… Really? My goodness this place was AWFUL. The cook adds water to the meat. I asked why, he replied because it helps it not to get dry all day. Well excuse me for asking for fresh done meat sir. I get something that has been sitting there for hours. No way going back here. Rather starve than eat this animal food! Skip it! Please let the blind know! Tourist go elsewhere this is not human food.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years and even though I moved to a far side of San Jose, I still love coming here. The staff is friendly, the place is clean and their food is to die for!

We went during the noon hour. The gentleman who was cooking said it’s a great deal only $ 9.95. We studied the menu which was very confusing and ordered two plates. I thought it odd that there were no prices posted next to the photos of the plates. We ordered our food and went to the register where the young man would ring us up. He said that’ll be $ 23.82 We said«he said it was $ 9.95 per plate not $ 10.95 and the kid gave us the stink eye so rather than make a ruckus we paid the $ 10.95 plus tax of course. Finally our food was ready and boxed to go. They never did ask what kind of Fajitas we wanted and we shouldn’t have assumed they wouldn’t give us the cheap crappy chicken. When we opened the boxes minutes later I can honestly say I have never tasted worse food in my life(not of any kind) The chicken fajitas were horrible the veggies were old and soggy the rice average. The only thing edible were the black beans. The plate of chicken I got was dry over spiced and just awful. Don’t waste your money dealing with a rude cashier and the worst food. Do yourself a favor and eat ANYWHERE else!

Ordered dinner for a family of four and every dish was bad. Kids bean and cheese burrito tasted burnt, beef chimichanga was salty, camerones rancheros was swimming in grease, cheese enchiladas were bland.

Great place to eat. I have only tried the Burritos here and they are Really good. Its never sloppy. I eat here quite often. Service is very fast. The one flaw to this place is that the daughter is a bit on the slow side. She will take your order wrong from time to time. The father and mother have no problem taking my order, it’s always accurate. The Salsa choices are not the best and look like they have been sitting from the day before. Other than that, the food is good.

Food is oaky, but there are no vegetarian options. The food is over priced, especially for chips and salsa.

This is a great local, family owned taqueria. The owner is also the cook. He is super friendly and nice. Food is always fresh. Prices are reasonable. I notice he has a strong following of customers. I go often enough and it seems that he knows most of his customers. It’s nice to support the local mom and pop restaurants around here.

Nope, not my thing. Rounded up to 3 stars because the dude working there was nice. A few issues… Restaurant smelled weird… like not clean, musty, just weird(it should smell like good food). Salsa was super bland… tasted like nothing… no flavor. Vegetarian burrito was basically refried beans, cheese and salsa…$ 6.75 was a bit much for a really basic burrito($ 5.25 would be an appropriate price). Chips in the bag were a nice touch, but tasted of old oil :( I visited a few years ago as Two Pesos is close to my office… it was not good then and it is not good now. Maybe the Campbell/LG gringos don’t know good Mexican food(thus overrated on Unilocal). I am not a fan and will not return. However, the dude working there was nice and I’d like to award him 3 stars, not 2 because I don’t want to be a d*ck.

Just ok. Nothing special. Pictures of the food on the wall are not the same as the menu. I ordered a shrimp burrito, looked nothing like the picture. Not as clean as I would have liked it to be. Too many taquerias to come back for a second try.

They’ve been my local«down the street» taqueria ever since I moved to this part of Los Gatos, and the food has always been quite nice. The people that work there have always been super pleasant and friendly. My only complaints about the place are that it seems like the proportions have been getting gradually smaller over the course of the last year or so, and order accuracy has been intermittent. About half the time that my wife orders from them, her order has been off(wrong sort of meat on a burrito, etc.)
