Wine: 4⁄5 Location and atmosphere: 5⁄5 Pour serving size: 2⁄5 I’m sorry, but if we’re paying to try wine, I would prefer more than two small sips. My family and I have been to many wine tasting rooms, and we absolutely loved the location and atmosphere! It is so beautiful. They have multiple seating arrangements outside, plus corn hole and croquet, which was a blast. I recommend bringing snacks or lunch when you go, they have great outdoor seating. However we did not love the extremely small pours — we still are laughing about if.

This spot is definitely one of the better tasting rooms in the area. A lot of the tasting rooms feel a bit… drink and go, which, ultimately, I feel lessens the wine tasting experience. In contrast, this spot feels welcoming so you can take your time with your tasting and chill out for a bit. Cozy chairs? Fire place? Live music? Friendly staff? Tasty wines? If that all sounds good to you, definitely come on by! Extra bonus: They were flexible about the wines I wanted to taste, so I didn’t have to taste anything I knew I wouldn’t be interested in. Extra extra bonus: They were totally nice to my friends and me, despite our wine-induced inappropriate conversations.

Great wines at good prices. Kristina did a great job of offering us tastings of their wines and flavored olive oils. We ended up with a few yummy cases!

Love this place! Went wine tasting here the other weekend and had the best time! The staff is wonderful, the wines are all delicious, and they have a cozy little fireplace to sit by on a rainy day! We grabbed some wine and some great oil and vinegar to take home with us, all amazing!

Consilence moved into the Tre Anelli tasting room and I guess they decided to rename it the Sanger FamilyTasting room. It now includes a new label Marinello as well. I tried the 6 wines they were pouring and did not like any of them. I paid the $ 15 tasting fee and made a comment about driving up to Paso Robles to meet up with my younger daughter and son-in-law, who only like Cabernet Sauvignon. The nice lady after processing my charge card offered to find a Consilience Cabernet Sauvignon to pour. I picked the 2011 Estelle Cabernet Sauvignon for $ 32 to taste only because the 2012 cost only $ 28 and I thought the higher price of the 2011 indicated it would probably be better. I liked the 2011 cab, but bought only one bottle. They waive the tasting fee of $ 15 if you buy 2 bottles, but it was too late to get the fee waived. Good service. Nice tasting room in downtown Los Olivos. Parking is hard to find as there are a lot of tasting rooms in Los Olivos.

My husband and I took a day trip to Los Olivos(we were staying in Santa Barbara for a long weekend) and the Consilience/Tre Anelli/Marianello tasting room was at the top of our list! They did not disappoint. After reading countless reviews about all of these labels from the Sanger Family, we knew we had to have a taste. All of the wines featured on their tasting menu were delicious, and we eagerly took home a bottle of Grenache. If you’re in the Los Olivos area, you should definitely visit the Sanger Family tasting room and enjoy wines from all 3 of their labels.

This place was great! We ended up getting a case of their Barbera which was discounted and really tasty. Score!

It’s taken me time to realize that I don’t really dig the types of wines that grow well in the Los Olivos/Santa Ynez area primarily Pinots, Chardonnay, and other things that make me go… meh. Tre Anelli is one of the few Santa Barbara wineries that has an Italian/old vine label as well as a few others. New tasting space, and informative, friendly staff with no pretense.

Went to this winery and had an amazing tasting experience. The wine was wonderful especially the port and could not ask for better customer service from Dan. Thank you for a great time!

Im beyond shocked. I ordered 2 bottles of wine yesterday afternoon for my husbands birthday and they were here the following morning at 840am. I am amazed by the wonderful fast shipping. Must say of all the places we tried, the wine at Conscilience was my least favorite. I have fond memories of their Syrah from living in the SB area a few years back. However, it didn’t quite live up to memory. The wines all tasted similar– all heavier red, more full bodied. The space is cute, staff friendly, but there are a few other tasting rooms I would prefer to try before I come back to this one.

A few weeks ago, my boyfriend and I had our first«Santa Barbara tasting experience.» After purchasing a wine passport through Groupon, we chose to visit Los Olivos for our first trip. We visited 6 tasting rooms, and this was by far our favorite for wines! The staff, two younger girls, were very knowledgable and helpful locals. They knew their wines and gave us tips on the town(everything from the best places to eat to who had the best public toilet!). The red wines here were FABULOUS. This was only our second stop of the day, so my mind wasn’t too fuzzy by the time we visited ;) If you’re in Los Olivos, I highly suggest you check this place out! Ps– they also do olive oil and vinegar tastings. I purchased a $ 20 bottle of some great olive oil. Check it out at the end of the bar!

We are wine club members here so I’m obviously going to give a good review. Purple Beast is our favorite, its probably one of the more rich, bold, full bodied wines here in town. We always visit this tasting room when here. The service is always great, and those little chocolate bars are to die for… sooo good.

Tasty Italian wines. Friendly service, cute location and this wine shop is loaded with all kinds of fun things to purchase. Also they offered olive oil and balsamic tastings. We sampled the basil oil oil and ended up buying a bottle. Came home and poured it over some fresh buffalo mozzarella and tomatoes… amazing.

Our server at Sides Hardware and Shoes recommended Consilience so we stopped in after our lunch. It was a cold, partially rainy day, so we were the only ones in the tasting room. I did the Tre Anelli tasting while my father-in-law had the Consilience tasting. Our pourer was very friendly and knowledgeable of the wines. We enjoyed our tasting there and my dog enjoyed being inside by the fireplace. We ended up purchasing the Cuvee White Santa Barbara County.

snotty staff, came here with axxess card and the rude older latina woman said«im not pouring you 12 tastings(i had 2 cards in our large group) I was blown away! First off, if that is what we want and we have 2BOGO tastings you better pour it! and secondly, are you freaking kidding? How rude! Totally put off! Then she ignored us and never came back to us. Sadly she did not know who we are, all Unilocalers… sucks for her. Syd, she rocked! She came over to us, seeing or abandonment and treated us like the paying customers we were. Their wine is good but nothing out of the ordinary.

Something for everyone here. Tons of wines, space, and comedy. If you are a… um… «Tasting Room Budgeter» wine taster then you too will enjoy this spots because you get tons of wines to taste from for 10 bucks. The staff is knowledgeable and I am sure if you give Angela a dollar she will bust out her unicycle and pour for you. You can fit a nice size group in here which is not really possible in most tasting rooms in this area. I am sure that there are those people that have zero sense of humor and ore offended easily, that may be putt off a little… but wine should be fun and thats what they make it here. They have various varietals which is nice when you are tasting in a area that focuses mostly on Rhone Varietals for the most part, which I love, but none the less variety is good

The tasting room nestled in beautiful Los Olivos is a must visit. Sure the wine is fantastic, local and flowing but the people pouring are very friendly and seem genuinely interested in the conversation. Larger tasting rooms can feel pushy to get you out the door for the next bus tour but I don’t get that feeling here. Sure it’s not in the heart of Solvang, so you’ll need to drive. But that’s part of the charm of Los Olivos. Did I mention the wine is fantastic? One of my local top picks. Take a bottle of sangiovese or grenache blanc. You wont be disappointed.
