It was a really bad weather and all the other restaurants were snowed in. They did an excellent job serving my 15 party family. They only had two cooks and three servers and our food was cooked perfect. I never really choose Applebee’s as a place to dine but this Applebee’s was convenient, friendly, clean, and great service!

The burgers I ordered were supposed to be medium and they were past well done. Fries were warm, almost cold. Vegetables that were supposed to be on the burger or on the side were nowhere to be found. Called and spoke with JaNeese the manager and waited for 7 minutes. She appreciated the feedback and apologized. Did not follow through until I prompted her on what she could do to help remediate the issue. I also overheard someone yelling in the background and the ma are confirmed it was her kitchen manager. I hope this location’s management has a more customer service oriented focus in the future.

This Applebee’s always seems to be under staffed. One waiter for God knows how many tables. Then we order appetizers and they came out with our main course so it was a huge mess and there was no room. I will say the poor waiter did his best to keep up. Managers was no where to be found but he might have been in the back cooking because this place is always under staffed.

After receiving a call from the district manager, who assured me that management was changing, we decided to give this restaurant another try for lunch. Much to our surprise the service was vastly improved, and the food was fantastic. This restaurant has greatly improved and we will be back soon. I had the fiesta lime chicken which was prepared perfectly.

Kitchen takes waaay to long. Ordered appetizer and to drinks, got them in just a few min. Placed our dinner order and waited. After about 15 min, a family of 5 sat near us and ordered. We waited more. 30 more min pass and the family gets their food. 5 meals, and we are still waiting for ours. The waiter kept telling us «Your meal is coming right up, just finishing it up». After 1 hour and 10 min, I flagged down the waiter and told him to bring our ticket, forget the meals, we are leaving. They didn’t even give us the appetizer free. Horrible service. They get a 6month suspension!

Absolutely terrible… Especially for a Wednesday night. 15 minutes to be seated. 10 minutes to place a drink order. 20 minutes to receive drinks. 60 minutes to be told they are out of the entrees we ordered. Stay away!!!

Kid’s night to pick, so we wound up at Applebee’s. Started off by having to wait to be seated. They weren’t busy, just didn’t have anyone seating tables. After being seen multiple times by wait staff (and manager) we were seated (it was after 7 on a Monday… no reason for a wait)
Our server was fantastic! She knew the menu inside and out, was respectful to my kids as well as myself. Refills were timely, even though she had several tables we were well served. She was personable but not awkwardly so, not just trying for a tip. That was nice!
The food was OK. My salad was fresh, the kid’s pizza was charred on the edges. But we just worked around it due to a time constraint. We did wait a while on appetizers, but it was explained to us and is a kitchen issue.
All in all, it was an ordinary dinner, but Fallyn made it wonderful! She is the reason the fourth star is there.

We have eaten in here several times over the last four years. The service and food have down hill. The food does not look like the pictures on the menu and the ingredients are different. The quality is no longer there and the service is mediocre. I complained about my salmon dish and the manager & waiter did not care if I enjoyed it or not. When we left, we told them we were not coming back and they just looked at us. It also too cold inside. They need to add some healthy choices to the menu. They have a lot to improve upon.

Typical Applebees decent service same food nothing bad to say if you have high expectations one move outta Lubbock or eat at home. The manager here now very attentive carside waitress very nice. Not crowded. Feed three people for under $ 30 on a Sunday

It’s Applebee’s right, so you can’t go wrong!
Wrong!
Ok, it wasn’t horrible or anything. Just not up to Applebee’s standards.
It’s 75 degrees outside but the air conditioner is on full blast. FREEZING!!! And I’m from Montana and perpetually hot! Trust me, it’s way too cold.
Appetizer, fine. Bar service, fine. Friendliness factor… meh. Not great.
Dinner wasn’t good. I ordered my old stand by: Bourbon Street chicken and shrimp. Comes with onions and new potatoes on the side. Hard to screw up.
The chicken was overcooked with way too many spices. I eat this dish all over the country and this was wrong.
The shrimp was good.
This place may be new. It felt new. The employees seemed new.
When was the last time you went to an Applebee’s on any day around 6:30PM to find it empty?
May be a sign. Go somewhere else.
