Dion’s

Shortly after my poor experience I was contacted by management staff at Dion’s who expressed concern and willingness to address the issue. I’ve noticed that companies that monitor Unilocal tend to be more in tune with their customer needs. I will chalk my visit up to the staff having an off day. I would definitely try them again.

Great pizza! My husband is addicted to the pepperoni pizza. This has turned into our Friday night dinner spot.

I LOVE Dion’s. Just great pizza, really good salads, cheese bread, you name it. All fresh ingredients, friendly service, and low prices. Wish we had a Dion’s in Austin!

This place is the BEST!!! We always ordered the Duke City but as a large (not on menu). When they make it this way it is made with pizza sauce instead of oil and it’s amazing! The ranch dressing is a must as well! We have moved out of Lubbock and I am missing this place more than any other restaurant there. So good!

Violently sick with a stomach bug after eating here once. Be smart, be safe, avoid this place.

the pizza is good, very good, like really good, but what gets me is the awesome chef salad.
I know, i know, — me eat a salad? Yes, and this place makes it super enjoyable. loaded with lots of fresh things, made to order, not stored in the back of some fridge. Of course, i still chase the salad with some bomb ass pizza, but the salad is top notch.
Sometimes you get tired of the same ol, take out pizza and you want something alil different, but still pizza, then you gotta hit this place up.

A friend I was staying with ordered us some pizza one night for dinner. Oh, and a greek salad. It was yummy. It wasn’t the best pizza I’ve ever had but I will definitely be back to eat at Dion’s when I move back to Lubbock. Yummy.

Food awesome and reasonably priced

4.5 stars for a pizza place. Dions serves great pizza. They use fresh quality ingredients that you would expect from a great pizza place and I find myself going back there time and time again when I have that pizza craving. In Lubbock I really only find myself going to 2 places for pizza: Dion’s and West Crust Pizza.

Good pizza and a relaxed family friendly atmosphere

As a girl whose first job was at Dion’s in Albuquerque (where it’s out of), I’d say that I’m a good person to judge this place. It’s on our way from Dallas into NM and we always stop to get our fix. We usually go pretty late and they aren’t that busy but I don’t know how they are at other times.
If you’ve never been, they serve pizza (also by the slice), subs, and salads. Everything is good but my favorite is the 10″ gourmet pizzas. They add olive oil to the dough when it’s being made and it adds the perfect crispiness to the crust. Just a hint, they will put any kind of toppings you want on a gourmet pizza, you just have to tell them you want the 10″. Really, you can customize anything on the menu. Don’t like the onions and cucumbers in the salads? Tell them you want no mix. Then there is the ranch dressing. No other ranch dressing can ever compare to this stuff. I seriously think it fell from heaven because it’s so amazing. Don’t forget to try some green chile on your pizza, it’s New Mexico’s little gift to you!
Pizzas take 20 minutes to make while salads, subs, and slices are out in 10. You can also get them altogether if you want. You can call in orders ahead of time so they are ready at a certain time or you can pick them up inside or at the drive through.
Having worked in a Dion’s and being trained in their headquarters, I can honestly say that this location has the one I worked at beat (I’m looking at you, Montgomery and Morris). They are clean, have friendly staff, and their food always looks (and tastes!) just how it’s supposed to. This is a great location and I’ve been really pleased with how well they seem to have acclimated to Texas. This place is definitely worth a visit!

Good pizza at a good price. I was expecting a sit-​down and order place, but you walk in and order. I had no real issue with that, just was not what I was expecting.
We ordered a Dions (maybe it was the managers?) special with Pesto sauce instead of normal tomato sauce. The pizza took about twenty to get after you ordered. It was actually really good. I did not know what to expect from them, but was pleasantly surprised.
I will be back.
