The pizzas are really good and I always enjoy going there. The people there are really nice.

One guy is great, there pizza is pretty good. Also they are well know for their calzone which are very very good. There was about a week where I was craving this everyday. The only thing I don’t like about One guy is the service. The service is not great, they have been rude to me on multiple occasions.

I’ve been here twice now. Both times I have received fast service. My first time was a carry out and it was ready by the time I arrived. The second time I dined in. Ordered a pizza and it was ready in a speedy time! Excellent pizza. And an excellent calzone. It’s a small shop but very tasty pizza!

Excellent lunch treat! $ 6 drink and calzone. Hot out of the oven fresh ingredients and no skimping here! Had the pepperoni with sausage. More than I could eat. Restroom could use a detailed clean.

If you are really hungry get a calzone, or if two of you are really hungry get a calzone! They are really good too. The pizza dough recipe is really fantastic.

One Guy is a national treasure! Ok well maybe just a Lubbock treasure, but you get the idea. The calzones set the bar for all the other calzones in the world, they are that good. I’ve been eating One Guy since I was in middle school, and then all through high school, my years at Tech, and now I take my own kids there. Today as I ate lunch with my family, 3 army servicemen walked in, in their fatigues. They went to the counter to order and the owner, Dario, told them all, «Your money’s no good here.» Good people, good food, it’s a Lubbock and Tech tradition. Don’t miss it.

Pizza is good, service is bad. Usually that high school/college aged guy that is the cashier is too busy watching tv or picking his nose to get your order right. Also they run out of certain foods a lot… Don’t try getting an order of mozzarella sticks it’ll never happen

For Lubbock pizza standards and options, it’s the bomb! The dough and sauce is spot-on and makes everything else good. It’s not the cheapest pizza in town, nor is the delivery area very big. But, it is really good pizza. A must try!

Amazing food! A little hole in the wall place that you should definitely check out. Their calzones and their pizza are great! They are a Lubbock staple having served the area for over 35 years.

Just came in to Lubbock and this was my first stop. I came in hungry and left stuffed and order food to take to the hotel. I got a house calzone and it was huge. I am not a small man and it full me up. All previous reviews are true. I will visit again before going home. Have a long road trip.

As good today as it was when I left Lubbock 25 years ago. The calzone remains the best in this hemisphere and it’s great to see a piece of Tech history continue to be relevant. Thanks, Giuseppe!

This place is known for the Stromboli. So that’s what I ordered. I wasn’t impressed. It was good, and cheap, so that helped, but again, it was just ok.

One Guy’s is the first pizza you’ll probably ever have as a student at Tech. Little by little as your world grows around the Hub you’ll seek out other joints, but you’ll always come back and visit this place. At least, that is what some of my friends and I have always done. One Guy’s pizzeria is located right across campus and continues to feed hungry Tech students from freshman year to Graduate school. Their main star icons are of course their pizza and their Calzones. Personally, I like it as simple as it gets: one slice of cheese please! It’s delicious and crispy. The slices aren’t too fast on their own so you know they haven’t been sitting under a lamp all day, and their pizza crust is delish. Just enough crunch to make you decide that you needed a second slice. Their Calzones for me are a seasonal favorite. Usually too big for a Fall semester(and too hot too), but BEST during the winter months. With the hunger building up from walking all over campus, and with the cold Lubbock wind pushing against you– what you need is some italian comfort that can only be brought by their mouth watering Calzones. They are hot, soft/crunchy, and filled with meat and cheese. Could be shared, but why would you do that? The place can get pretty busy on major weekends and always has customers within their shop. –But hey! A busy place always guarantees something you’ll like. So, If you’re new to Lubbock, Campus, or Tech in general you should give this place a try.

Oh, One Guys, I love you. I really, really do. One guys was one of the first(if not THE first) place I ate when I came to Tech… and I’ve been hopelessly in love ever since. I love the way Sicilians do pizza: fresh, simple ingredients in food that is simply amazing. I alternate back and forth between the traditional house calzone and a large pizza when I want to have left overs for later. If you’re looking for a fantastic pizzeria that will hit the spot, do yourself a favor and stop in for their lunch special. It’s around $ 6.50 for 2 huge pieces of pizza or a calzone + soft drink.

A-ok as Unilocal calls it out. It wasn’t quite the culinary feat of excellence I was expecting from the reviews and televised history, but it was worth the try. Note: don’t get the buffalo chicken pizza. It’s neither spicy nor appetizing. Staff was nice, and the place was clean, and other pizzas looked good, but just not ours. It’ll be worth trying out again the next time I go to Lubbock, but it’s not a priority.

The staff was friendly enough. The crust was crispy. The cheese tasted like quality. The price was very reasonable. The ambiance of the place was, average, but no worse than any other pizzeria I guess. I got a slice with tomatoes, and a slice with onions. The onions were chopped up like little cubes and they didn’t taste fresh. Much better would have been them just sliced longways, especially them being the only item on the pizza. But I won’t dock a star for below average onions due to the way they’re cut and lack of freshness, when everything else was on par.

The pizza here is awesome — being from North Jersey I have pretty high standards when it comes to pizza. I got three slices of cheese and a drink for $ 8… not to mention one slice is pretty much equal to two slices. One Guys is a great casual lunch spot and they are very accommodating. They can put pretty much anything into a calzone or on a pizza for you. I will say I wasn’t impressed by the calzone I ordered… the ingrediants were not proportional… i.e. waaaay too many olives. I will mostly likely be back… for pizza! yum!

By far the best pizza in Lubbock. Although it takes a little while for your food to come out, it’s absolutely wonderful and worth every minute of the wait. The employees are soooooo nice and friendly and they’re so eager to make sure you get everything you asked for. The pizza is awesome and so are the calzones. The house calzone is PACKED with sausage and pepperonis and cheese. I recommend calling in your order ahead of time to cut down your wait time! Food always comes out super hot and tastes so fresh. Portion sizes are all huge and prices are super cheap. It sounds like I was paid to write this LOL but this is my 2nd time here this week I just can’t get enough of it. My only complaint is if you get a side of marinara for your calzone, the sauce comes out cold! But honestly the calzones are so good you don’t need marinara.
