Had a very bad experience on my husband’s birthday. Waited 45 minutes to get our order taken by a bartender who did not check on us as our drinks were empty and spent his time drying glasses and chatting with other patrons. We finally left after waiting another 15 minutes to get our tab paid, and proceeded to Olive Garden. I wrote a review on their Facebook page later on and they deleted it! It’s safe to say we won’t be going back!

Great environment! Hummus & cheeses are a great appetizers choice. Good date place! Swanky & fun. Good food & nice setting. A great addition to Lufkin!

Would have loved to give it a try but our party(4 adults, 2 teens, 210 – 12 year olds) was told minors weren’t allowed.

Restoration is a great place to eat and relax. The food is fresh and obviously the wine is great! Downside… it is very SLOW. Do not go here thinking you will be waited on quickly.

I went there for the music and found a new home. The atmosphere is old lufkin with the friendliest folk in town. The food was excellent and the wine(merlot) was to die for. Had a great time in an intimate venue.

Atmosphere is good and they have a decent wine selection, but as somebody who went primarily for food, I was severely disappointed. The pizza definitely felt like a frozen pizza that was reheated and served. I could have gone to HEB and gotten a better tasting pizza. Still giving it 4*s because this town needs more places like this instead of your national chains.

My friend and I had a blast. Great service and fantastic wine and a good cheese selection. We will be coming here much more often. Recommend to anyone who enjoys wine, cheese and a great environment. Adam was great with the recommendations and service.

What a great little spot! I had the chicken salad sandwich served on Pita. It was delicious, and fresh. The Pita was warm, and the fresh avocado was a wonderful addition. The homemade enchilada soup was spot on. Not too spicy with right amount of melted cheese. One of the friendly staff members suggested trying a touch of the balsamic dressing on the chicken salad. It just keeps getting better. The wine list is nice. Not too extensive so it is overwhelming, and a wide variety to choose from. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in town.

Hard to find such a quaint place in deep east texas. Okay wine selection. Burgers are scrumptious @ may have to be patient.

Held a business dinner here for 6 with a reservation. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxing. The wine selection is good. We ordered the sampler appetizer, which was decent. I had a wedge salad with broccoli cheese soup, and the soup was fabulous! I would say this is one of the nicer establishments in Lufkin and would recommend it.

Cool spot! Great old building! Friendly staff! Good food! And wine, wine, wine !!! I stopped in for lunch and had 2 nice glasses of Moscato, a yummy greek flat bread, and then topped that off with a piece of chocolate tuxedo cake. Great place to spend a relaxing lunch.

Adorable atmosphere in this remodeled hotel. All I had was the blue cheese burger but it was the best blue cheese burger I’ve had. Lots of wines and cheeses to try also. Our waitress was super sweet. She also said they have live music every Friday and Saturday night at 7pm.

Great spot! Atmosphere has charm and wait staff is pleasantly pleasant. As a road worrier who tries to keep it healthy, my experience with their staff and strawberry fields w chix salad was a win. *One blemish being that their extensive wine list could use vintage info.

What a wonderful discovery. Stopped by for a late lunch. It was not very busy. About three tables occupied and two at the bar. Service was excellent, as was my order. The Strawberry Fields side salad and ½ a Greek Flatbread was both tasty and nourishing. With a soft drink and tip, my total came to $ 15, so the prices for what you get are excellent. The free wifi access added to the service ethic of the place and I will return with SO(significant other) in tow the next time I get through. Thank you, Restoration Wine Bar, for the experience.

This is certainly not a place you’d expect to find in little Lufkin, TX. A wine bar in the piney woods? Yes, this is indeed that. The wine selection is extensive, offering both by the bottle and by the glass options. The wine available rotates, so you’ll usually be able to find something new. Food offerings were pretty standard fare for wine-centric establishments: meat and cheese plate(of course), pizzas(regular and flat bread), salads, and a variety of little appetizers; also, because we’re in deep east Texas, they throw in the obligatory hamburgers and sandwiches. I wasn’t so impressed with my flat bread(not crispy enough for my liking), but the brie burger was very good. Service was great. The gals on the floor really seem to enjoy what they’re doing(they work in one of the best restaurants in town, so there’s that), and will go out of their way to make sure you find a wine that you like. All in all, if you enjoy wine, or you’re with someone who does, and you find yourself in Lufkin then by all means you should come here. Heck, even if you’re just a guy(or gal) that’s interested in wine but might be a little intimidated by the notion of a «wine bar» I’d recommend you stop by. The air is not pretentious, and the staff knows their stuff.

This is a really fun place to go. It has a decent selection of wines and the atmosphere is cozy. I’ve only had the basil pizza appetizer, and I can’t say that I would order this item again. It was okay. I have read many other reviews that suggest that the flatbread pizzas are very good. Maybe I’ll try one of these next time. The waitstaff and bar staff are always helpful and willing to make suggestions or offer samples. I can see this place becoming one of my favorite locations in Lufkin.

This place is very good. It’s located in downtown Lufkin in an old building. Although not highly decorated, the place was comfortable and nice. It’s seat yourself and they have a variety of booths and tables. Happy hour ends at 6, but I per used the happy hour menu and it looked extensive and worthwhile. The menu was also fairly extensive. Neither of us ordered wine, but the menu looked extensive and the prices were extremely reasonable. As for food, there was a variety of meat and cheese plates, salads, sandwiches, and flatbreads. My coworker and I each got the half flatbread salad combo for $ 8. It came out quickly and was a fairly large plate. I ordered balsamic vinegarette for my salad and it came on the side. My coworker, on the other hand, ordered a Caesar salad and the dressing came on it. The flatbread was delicious. We each ordered the Greek flatbread, and it came out with 6 slices each. All in all, I was very pleased with this place and would go there again. My ONLY complaint was that the service was a little slow.
