Courteous service and good food made this a great choice for large family gathering. There were 10 of us and we had no problems, no waits no skipped items. Our waitress didn’t blink at separate checks. We had the Shephard’s pie and black and blue salad. Both were delicious.

We usually have a good experience here. Service in the bar area seems better than in the formal dining room. There always seems to be a few locals the the bar. The booths are large and the food has usually been good. Sitting on the porch in the summer gives you a view of the creek if you can look past the parking lot and the cars entering and exiting. I’d call it good but nothing great.

I have been to Flags on 3 occasions. Tonight was the best. My husband and I met for dinner while he was on a break from work. The waitress, Joanne, was Fantastic! In other visits, the staff were average, at best. The food was good, and Joanne, knowing my husband was on a dinner break from work, was fast, efficient and friendly. She should train all the servers there.

Service was slow down a waitress and one order came to our table wrong. It is not really kid friendly… felt crowded and benches uncomfortable.

Loved it!!! Great beer selection on tap and in bottle. The bartenders here really know their stuff. The flatbread bruschetta and the chicken french there is the best!!! Must Try!

The pecan chicken salad had no pecans in it. Service was slow. Waitress was new and not very trained. We often go here for work lunches because it’s close but it has been a real disappointment lately. Not sure what’s going on.

Well, from the time we moved to Rochester in 1992 or closely thereafter, we would go to Flaherty’s with friends and neighbors at least twice a month. We had a terrible meal about a year ago and hadn’t tried it since, but decided to give it another chance. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. The food is very mediocre and tasteless. Sadly, this is no longer on our list of casual places to go to for dinner. It’s a fine place if you just want a drink although it’s undergoing major construction and will become part of Bill Gray’s.

Under new management by Bill Grays. Hopefully they work out the details. I was hoping it would be much better. Beer selection was outstanding. Menu and service fair. Will try it again in 6 months. I think the need more help too

I’ve graduated from a pint, to appetizers, to dinner. I am puzzled that the appetizers and the meals are pretty much the same price. The fish fry was decent, there was skin on the large piece. The coleslaw was tiny but had a nice creamy, vinegar balance. The onion rings were regular onion rings.

The food here is just not good. I ordered the lobster bisque to start. It arrived barely warm and it was chowder not bisque. It was meh. I got the blackened chicken salad. It was not blackened it was just grilled chicken. It was ok, fresh. Salad dressing was low quality bottled Italian. You could tell because it was gloppy and a very artificial texture. Husband got a hamburger and he said it wasn’t great. The menu is gigantic which is a red flag for frozen reheated and not house made food. That’s why I chose a salad. I figured it was the safest plan. The service was the only bright spot.

Quick service. Every time we eat there the meal is better than expected. Recommend the strip steak.

Excellent food, fast service, great waitress. Enjoyed the pot roast, shepherds pie, hamburger and Reuben sandwich. Phenomenal! Reasonably priced too.

Hawaiian pineapple seafood pasta?! What?! That’s awesome! And it was! Unfortunately that dish was a special and not on the menu, it was so fantastic. The décor in here is nice and casual. Rather presentable in here with a choice of booths, tables and a huge party table. There is also a huge bar area which is very convenient while waiting to be seated. The food has always been of good quality and has never left me feeling unsatisfied. In fact if your looking for a real treat come here and order the lobster bisque! It’s a home run! The best lobster bisque I have ever had!

I wanted to update my previous posting. The food has been acceptable the last few times we have eaten here. And my requests for adaptations to the menu for my gluten ALLERGY has been adhered to. Still a great atmosphere, Cheers like, home town bar feeling. Prices are great.

Great pub. Friendly staff. Nice beer selection. Expect your favorite sports team to be on. Naked Dove on tap… Food is what you expect for a sports bar outside of Macedon. They do have a dining area but I have not been there to sit down and eat.

As a freckle-laden, see-through pale family(on me Mum’s side of course), I can say this bar is an excellent Irish themed little spot. My Mother and her boyfriend probably go here once a week, if not more, to sit at the bar, chat with the bartenders, and munch on the delicious food they offer. The bartenders are absolutely great. Very lively, attentive, and fun to talk to. They know just how to serve your Guinness(or Jameo and Ginger) just right. They obviously have other beers and drinks to offer, though. The food is your typical bar food, and enjoyable. No complaints here. My mother is a Celiac sufferer so no gluten for her, and they are always very willing to modify anything to accommodate that. The last time I went here was a couple months ago for a «Guinness Night», and what a blast. The first fifty people to arrive got their very own customized Guinness glass(of course, I was in the fifty), and the live bands they have are always great and fun to listen to. Food is good, atmosphere is great, and the Guinness is always flowing. You’ll have a great time at «The Flags» with friends, or family. 4⁄5 just based on the fact sometimes the wait staff can be slow, but to be fair, they can be absolutely slammed too.

Surprisingly good food! Went here for lunch on business. Not as fast paced as Atlanta, so plan for a leisurely lunch. Portions were hearty! Pot roast was tender and brown gravy with veggies were a very good. Shepherd’s pie was also very good. Reuben had a lot of cheese and kraut so if you like a healthy cheese to meat ratio, this is your sandwich. Drawback is the wait, but the quality of the meal was worth it.

At Flags tonight! Our waitress Kelly was AWESOME! She was fun, doesn’t spill beer and will take crap from foodies like me. Food was yummy!

I came here because I was in the area visiting family and friends over the holiday weekend. Flaherty’s is a typical neighborhood sports bar. When you walk in, there is a room to your right which was hosting a private party, but then in the left room there is a huge bar in the middle with plenty of tables surrounding it. Want to watch your local sports game? Do not worry, there is not a bad seat in the house as there are easily 40″ HD TVs lining the walls so you can see one no matter where you sit. The menu is HUGE with the pub favorites. If you are drinking, definitely sip on a local brew. Prices are right on point so you do not feel as though you are splurging. If I lived in the area, this would be my go-to spot.
