I LOVE Sip me coffee, LOVELOVEIT! I know its really expensive but the coffee and service/atmosphere are great, I Like that they have gluten free options(I only wish they had more food options, but they don’t really have a kitchen) Oh and try the Macadamia nut milk, its out of this world good and the unsweetened ginger soda, really refreshing. I need to try the fresh juices one day but I always walk in and want coffee:) I also bought the coffee beans for home and I wish they were cheaper because its the best coffee on Maui.

Sip Me was exactly what we needed. Our plans for the day were foiled by cold wet weather. So, instead we headed upcountry to Makawao for a warm drink. I had a soy chai; it was excellent. Hot and spicy. The place was pretty busy and they couldn’t quite keep up with clearing the tables, but we eventually found a cosy seat. We enjoyed our drinks inside while it drizzled outside. The bathroom was very clean and they have mouthwash. Also, they have easy outlets to charge your devices table side.

This place is cute — it reminds of a boutique coffee shop in Hollywood somewhere… the service is great and the drinks were really tasty. We were headed to dinner, so opted not to try their delicious looking desserts — but the people who had ordered them really seemed to enjoy them. Next time! Try the ice coffee! You won’t be sorry!

Definitely my new favorite coffee shop! Love supporting local & the coffee is SO good! Best latte I’ve had. Super cute and comfy atmosphere. Food is delicious too. Quiche was yummy, bagels are fresh. Awesome selections of pastries all baked local. They also have a great selection of juices. Purify is my fav so far, beets, tumeric, Apple, cayenne, and more! Love this place.

Sip Me was so cute! I really loved the atmosphere and they had the cutest little teacup succulents on all of the tables. We came in to grab some iced tea to escape from the heat and it was delicious. I tried a lemongrass green tea and had a cinnamon roll which was to die for. I liked that they gave us our food and drinks in real dish wear as well rather than plastic. One big thing I loved was their pay it forward wall where customers could either leave money for their friends and family sort of like a gift card or people could donate to pay it forward for those who are having a bad day, forgot their wallets, or are in need of a little help. They have a big chalkboard wall with all of the names and donations on it. It’s a really cool idea. Overall I loved this place and will definitely be coming back again.

The stars are based on the caramel macchiato(better than I expected, although the wait was a bit long) and the coconut cinnamon roll(I’ll guarantee be craving this at many points in my life from this day forward!), and the service… Which left much to be desired… There were about 4 girls total working behind the counter but service was a bit slow to my liking ~ for the coffee and cinnamon roll, my total was $ 10.36. I paid $ 20.36 and the cashier stood there a moment, baffled… Then she said, «ok I owe you $ 8». I said no, you owe me $ 10… To which she rung me up again to be sure, then sheepishly smiled and handed me $ 10. Have to admit, that’s a pet-peeve of mine. Maybe she’s yet to have her morning coffee I’ll be back again

Friendly staff, yummy tea and GF baked goods!(I cannot say much for coffee or other baked goods, because I don’t drink/eat them). So exciting to have GF sweets in the neighborhood. Also, smoothies are pretty tasty with raw almond milk.

Sooo thankful I don’t have to drive out of Makawao to study/or for free wifi. I loooove this place. I find myself being much more productive than sitting at home and falling asleep. I sit here for hours doing schoolwork and all the staff are kind and friendly. Ambiance is nice and they’ve also got gluten free goodies if you’re into all of that! Good beverages too!

Sure, it can take a while sometimes. Welcome to Maui! Slow down and go with the flow. This concept is the very essence of Maui. Try to enjoy the journey and embrace the plight of your fellow man. If you can suceed in this regard it will be the best choice you ever make. Alas, many people just cant do it. Just like the mainland, what holds ip the line the most is people from the mainland that can’t make up thier minds! Yes, it cost more than Starbucks, but not that much more. It is the best organic coffee on the planet. To someone that knows the difference it is a negligible difference for far superior quality. If you are gluten free and or organic take a swing by. Best gf organic pastries I have ever had!

This little café is a welcome newcomer to Makawao! Serving organic coffee, fresh pressed ginger«beer,» gluten free bakery options and other goodies in a spare but welcoming modern space. There was sun streaming in the front windows and a perfect temperature breeze coming in the door this afternoon when we sat down for a «hot shot»(ginger, cucumber, turmeric, celery, Hawaiian chili, apple cider vinegar) for me and a well-done espresso for my partner. Classic vocal jazz tunes were playing and the staff were friendly and helpful – what a lovely experience!

The owner has a great eye for décor — the inside is beautiful and outside patio is dreamy. The coffee send fairly priced, albeit on the expensive side. I treated myself to a $ 5 french press cup of Joe. It was delicious, but it wasn’t filled all the way(unless 1.5 inches is ‘no room for cream’). Coupled with the shot glasses of syrup and other beautiful, but impractical, do-dads, I left wondering if the owner focused too heavily on aesthetics and not enough on food service. However, I’d go back and give it another whirl for the gorgeous patio(but this time I’ll get a regular cup of coffee).

I can’t comment on much more than the service and some of the items offered as we visited when the power was out in town. It happens. I also don’t really drink coffee, and we’d just had brunch across the street, so we were just stopping in for the gluten free pastries my friend from Haiku knew might be in stock. Décor is fun and bright, lots of natural light — and did you know the floors are from the Habitat Restore? I love it when I hear building materials are re-used or re-purposed. And they looked just perfect in the shop. The serve loose leaf artisanal tea from the Tea Box(a local island tea seller and custom blender), gluten free treats from Maui Sugar Shop in Lahina, and I didn’t ask about the rest of their treats. They have taps of… well now, I can’t recall! I know we asked, and it was brilliant, but for the life of me… They do serve ginger beer — and the lillikoi sounded great. Smoothies, elixirs and juices too. Next time I’m upcountry, I will stop in for a refreshment.

Super cute store located in the heart of Makawao. It was easy to find and FULL of great choices! I came for coffee but then changed my mind to a healthy refreshing juice! Of course it took me way too long to narrow it down, but with the help of the lovely baristas, I decided on a «Refresh me.» I paid and waited for my drink. Within minutes, it was delivered to my table, pretty as a picture. Taste: well, in a nutshell: totally awesome. Fresh, zingy, fruity with the perfect consistency. Apple, carrot, lemon and ginger. It felt good to drink – you know those things that you consume that just make you *feel good*?! Yeah, this was one of those. I think I had a bounce in my step when I left. Sip me is really clean with lots of natural lighting and plenty of tables. They have free wi-fi and lots of goodies for every kind of diet and baked good junkie. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They all seem like they really like their jobs. If you need a nice place to work or hang out and meet cool peeps, Sip me is it.

Very cool coffee shop/hang out spot in the awesome town of Makawao. My husband and I were already heavily caffeinated by the time we rolled in but we were hella parched so cold beverages were required. I got the lemonade and he got the watermelon juice. Both were refreshing, just the right amount of sweet, and so delicious our cups were empty within several minutes of the straws reaching our lips. The space is bright and airy with a decent amount of seating inside. They have a lot of snack offerings from sweet pastries to savory bagels, locally roasted organic coffee, loose-leaf teas, and a really neat«pay it forward» wall where folks who give a few extra bucks to cover future purchases get shout outs on the chalk wall. A feel good mission AND good bevvys? I’m in!

I was so stoked when this place opened. Cool environment, definitely feels like a real modern coffee shop. But… Sip Me is waaaay over priced for the quality of the coffee. You’re looking at about $ 10 just for a latte and pastry. Instead of being a local place to hang out, this makes Sip Me more of a treat than a daily coffee stop.

This is a refreshing new coffee/juice/smoothie shop in Makawao. Ambiance is lovely, though a bit warm. The gals behind the counter were friendly and smiley. I got the Hot Lavender Cacao and the lilikoi bar. Scrumptious and tasty. I’m making this my new home away from home!
