Our first dinner here was soon after opening. We have recommended to many people the homemade papardelle bolognese is the best to all places around. They have very good wine that is reasonable price.

Not good. Walking in to an overwhelming smell of gas. We were told it was because the heat was just turned on & would go away. It did but the heat was on too high. We were dying. Cold bottles of Peroni and the complimentary tiny bruschetta were the best part of our meal. We ordered a rigatoni alla vodka & a red snapper marechiara with baked clams to start. All three dishes bad, not fresh and didn’t feel Italian at all. The stale bread did not help. The bill came with something that we didn’t order & the waiter argued with me about it. BAD service. We won’t go back. It’s a shame because It’s is a cute place. My 2 stars is overly generous and a 90 dollar bill. We could have had a wonderful dinner at some of the best restaurants in the are but I wanted to help the small business owner. Do not go here. Nothing Italian about it.

We went here shortly before closing, Vinny the owner was incredibly accommodating despite us arriving before closing. The service was amazing and the food was even more amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant and I can’t wait to go back. The menu was diverse, they offer so many options anyone’s palate will be not only accommodated… But pleased. Vinny and his staff have earned a repeat and loyal customer.

Just had dinner their with my family. They charged $ 21 for two ½ orders of plain penne pasta with sauce that were for my kids. My kids are 3 years old and 18 months. When I asked how that could be, they said that’s what it is. I didn’t want to argue and cause a scene because it was Mother’s Day and didn’t want to ruin it for my mom or any other customers. I am just never going back or ordering from their again. We usually don’t go out for Italian and just wanted to try something different on the Ave for Mother’s Day. Should’ve listened to my 3 year old when she said she wanted miso soup.

I would describe this place as a middle of the road Italian restaurant. I’ve had better and I’ve had worse but it’s pretty convenient for me to get some quick take out. I do enjoy the food and the service is always good. If I didn’t live so close I would probably not go there. Although if you are close by and wanted Italian and there was parking right in front you should stop.

My stepdad is a first-generation American whose parents were from Italy. He grew up on Arthur Avenue. He is fluent in Italian and still goes back home to visit his relatives every few years. So needless to say, he certainly knows his Italian food. Every time my mom and stepdad come to visit, this is where they want to go. I have never had a bad dish at this place. The portions are always very generous and the staff is friendly. My only complaint is that it is a little on the pricey side. If you want authentic Italian in Mamaroneck, this is where the Italians in my family go!

When I bought the double take deals coupon I was so excited. The food did not live up to my expecatations. I ordered shrimp marinara, and well it was less than good. The shrimp smelled and tasted OLD, and the pasta was in a puddle of red water. I got a replacement meal of pasta pustenesca, it was ok, The olive toping was good but again the pasta was sitting in a puddle of red water

We are regulars at this small and friendly restaurant. The food is always excellent and the staff goes out of its way to accommodate you. The portions are generous, the red sauce delicious and the prices are more than fair. M&M, Larchmont, NY.

So so italian restaurant. I decided to try it for lunch with a certificate. First, I couldn’t choose from the lunch menu which was annoying. So, I had the fettucini with chicken and artichokes. It was pretty tasty but kind of overpriced at lunch time for $ 17. I also had a coke which for $ 3 could have been a lot bigger, or at least refilled once. Absolutely no atmosphere at lunch time and people standing smoking on the street could be smelled inside the restaurant. Might be better at dinner but still kind of pricey for the location/food.

Looked so cute and always has a decent crowd so I had to try it. Unfortunately witha one month old and a 16 month old I dont get the chance to dine out much. So, my hubby and i checked out the menu and placed an order to go. I ordered a chicken special which was suppossed to have fresh baked mozzerella and prosciutto. Well when we got it home guess what was missing? the cheese and the prosciutto. GREAT, so we just paid 23 dollars for a special and got breaded chicken cutlet. I was pissed. What i got was tasty but a very small portion along with being not what i ordered. When i do get the chance to dine out it wont be there!
