I feel like their sushi is always very fresh. Their staff are very friendly and it’s extremely great value for money. A sweet spot in Westchester! They also have a restaurant in White Plains which makes choosing a place to eat easy!

Very fresh and great tasting sushi at a relatively affordable price. The ambiance is rather modern(as many«fusion» places are) which gives it a nice vibe for date night or dinner with friends.

I don’t care how good their sushi is. The associates at this place are some of the rudest self centered and disingenuous people I’ve ever met. I’m not sure if it’s a cultural thing or if it’s just the nature of the restaurant but I go to zenzo across the street instead where the employees are vey very polite and have manners. The red plum employees have done everything from tell me that they couldn’t fill a take out order because they«closed in 1 more hour» to one time having them ask me to pay by phone while I was 5 mins away bc they wanted to close the cash register early; again an hour before they closed. It’s just a joke the way they see no issue in how their attitudes come across to people. I absolutely refuse to give them my money and am very vocal with anyone who asks.

The Chinese food at Red Plum is VERY, VERYGOOD. I am very picky when it comes to Chinese food and I would recommend Red Plum to anyone. Beside the food being fresh, prepared right and hot, the staff is excellent also. We have now eaten there twice and were not disappointed. Highly, highly recommend.

I will never come back because there was a rat in the restaurant. The health inspector needs to check this place out.

My go to place for Asian Fusion. Mamaroneck Ave has become a dining mecca, and there are a couple of Asian Fusion places on the ave, but we always find ourselves coming back here, which says a lot. The menu is exactly what you would expect to find, but there is a good variety and you can always find something to suit your mood. My go choices are the spicy tuna roll, shrimp tempura roll and thai curry. If you have a hankering for Asian Fusion, check out this place.

This is our favorite Asian restaurant between New Rochelle and Rye. They are busy, which is good for high turn, fresh food. The sushi is quality. The habachi is clean and solid. Mixed drinks are good but wine by the glass was just average. My only real criticism is that the service is just ok. It’s all business, which I guess is fine. But it doesn’t exactly leave you feeling like family.

Quality of everything made at red plum is 500% better than any other Asian fusion place around. Nobody can beat the lunch special prices and quantities. You will never have an improperly cut piece of sushi here. Highly recommended to all.

Had dinner last night and it was delicious! Very busy on weekends, but service was good! I got a few rolls and my husband had sashimi! The only negative was some of the fish on the platter was slimy– they put salted mackerel and something else and it wasn’t as good a quality as the other pieces on the plate! Next Time well hand pick the pieces so we don’t get stuck with whatever they feel like putting on the platter!

I love Red Plum’s food but the service is terrible. Corrina the hostess needs to work on her people skills. We had a reservation and she sat us wayyy after, but was seating others that came in after us. Keep in mind I’m pregnant and she was arguing with me with a full blown attitude. She needs some work with how to deal with patrons. Please adjust her attitude and your establishment will do much better.

This is my favorite sushi place in the area. I have been here many times over the years. Not only does it have great sushi, but also it has great value. I have always been impressed with the size of the sushi. I usually order the Sashimi Deluxe. That being said, I have noticed the pieces are getting smaller. I mentioned that to my server and he claimed to be new. I would have disliked complaining about something without telling the restaurant first.

Hibachi Birthday! Hibachi food was below average, but one can’t ask too much from the method. Hibachi service was terrible, the cook was sour like the scallops. Hibachi waiter treated us like we were doing him a favor by being there. Hibachi show was nonexistent. Our vegan guest ordered the Tofu Curry, came out in less than 3 minutes and piping hot and 15 minutes before the hibachi started. Tip to the ‘chef’: use the popcorn button instead, it heats more evenly than the high setting on most microwaves. Take me back to the days of Toyo when the sushi was the best on the Sound Shore and it wasn’t just another smelly hibachi joint. There are about four other Asian Fusion options on the Ave within walking distance, check those out first!

Delicious fresh sushi and great strong cocktails. First came here for my mother in laws Bday and did the hibachi. That was also great and my kids loved it. Great food definitely would come back

Went to the hibachi. Below average. Expected more given its reputation. Everything was salty, which I like, but it overpowered the food. Salad was decent. Soup was bland. My dad is obsessed with this place, but I’ve had better Asian fusion on Mamaroneck Ave.

I’ve been here about 4 times so far and it’s fantastic! Service is great, prices are reasonable and the food is excellent. So far the appetizers I’ve ordered/shared are Potato Pancake(this is really perfectly flaky roti with peanut & potato sauce), Gyoza, Chicken Satay & Chicken Lettuce Cups — all excellent. Miso soup is nice and not your average Asian miso — really great balanced taste. Entrees I’ve had/shared include Crispy Red Snapper(I keep coming back to this dish), Red Beef Curry and Shrimp Pad Thai. I can’t wait to try other ones(assuming I can keep myself form ordering the Crispy Red Snapper again! I’m also wanting to try the hibachi(note actual Hibachi tables are only at Mamaroneck restaurant).

I was eating dinner here on a Friday night and it was probably the fastest dinner I’ve ever had! We got lucky and had a table as soon as we walked in and everything just went so smoothly after that. The service was excellent! I had their Mango Chicken which was a little too sweet in my opinion but still really good. It was served hot and we barely had to wait.

Solid sushi spot! They have really great fresh king salmon sashimi, which is my ultimate favorite. I have yet to find a place around with better king salmon. Their specialty rolls are also really good. I love the Naruto roll, the Alaska beauty and Black dragon. Well, I mean, I could eat any of their specialty rolls, but those are some of my favorites. The coconut fish soup is a must try. It is very filling so maybe order to share, or not too much food after. The location in White Plains does not have plum wine by the glass(gasp!!! :0), but the Mamaroneck location does! The service is very friendly and attentive. Oh yea, I have never had it before, but they do also have hibachi tables towards the back. Looks good!
