This is a small family type butcher shop, not a destination location. The store was recently refreshed, and the dry goods rack was empty. There is now a case with roasted chicken, cooked ribs and pot pies at the front of the store. These looked good. I have generally been pleased with my purchases here. There is dry-aged steak in the back if you ask for it, the case features family priced items, burgers, chicken, sausages. On the last visit, boneless breasts were 5.49 a pound, same as at the upscale markets, but the butcher expertly trimmed and pounded them for me. St. Louis ribs were excellent and the membrane was removed on request. I was a little less happy with the short ribs, but there were few left to choose from on a Saturday afternoon. Family packages are available — I have never tried one and can’t speak to the value. Recommended if you are in the area.
