Bought the 10 for 20 deal and they have been closed ever since. What’s the deal? Can I get reimbursed?

Just drove by Airfare Bistro when they’re supposed to be open. It looks dark, empty, and closed. Not a good sign. Not sure if they’re closed for good or just on hiatus. I know they lost yet another chef.

I flew into Manassas Regional Airport and came here for lunch today– the food was amazing! I had a chicken pesto panini which was perfect all around. It may have actually been the best panini I have ever had.
The ding in stars comes from the long wait time for the paninis for my table of two… there were 4 other tables in the restaurant yet it took nearly 30 minutes. It looked like they only had one cook, and maybe only one panini griller? Not sure, but if you’re in a rush, call ahead and order take out.
I’ll be back!

Somewhat limited menu.
Odd location that almost feels like a hotel lobby instead of a restaurant.
Very little on-​site seating 4 – 5 small tables inside and just 1 – 2 outside. Definitely kind of place you get it to go.
We got the lobster & crab burger with double loaded potatoes as a side.
Sandwiches were good. Nothing amazing.
The side of the potatoes was the smallest serving I’ve ever seen. Seriously 2 tablespoons of potatoes. Yes, we measured.

Excellent Eggs Benedict. I just wish they were open on the weekend.

Steak and egg sandwich was really good. Service was good too. I recommend this place just before busy hours since it’s a little small.

Fantastic! Try the Montecristo or Eggs Benedict. Wow this is a great place with great service. The décor is beautiful although the high chairs and tables are odd. Don’t let the name fool you — this is not airplane food or airport food. –The food is gourmet and freshly made by a chef.
This is a must try and experience restaurant. Loved it! The waiter was great and actually had an opinion on the food.

This place keeps getting better.
The first couple of times I went in, I purchased only bagels. Their selection seems to vary on a regular basis, sometimes they have plain bagels, sometimes they don’t. The cream cheese is Philadelphia cream cheese. For the longest time they only had strawberry cream cheese, but now they seem to be serving chives. The bagels are always fresh, and nicely toasted.
They use to have a display case for fruit and deserts. The chef never seemed to know what flavor the cupcakes were, but they were always good. The display is now gone, and they serve giant chocolate chip cookies which are great when still soft.
I finally tried one of their breakfast sandwiches — the Alan Cook. It was tasty. An over easy egg with bacon, cheddar cheese, and mayo on wheat bread, I could have easily made this at home. But, I don’t have the time to do that most mornings. Prices are fair for the quality of food, and serving sizes are filling. They did not skimp on the bacon. The over easy egg was cooked perfectly, and was runny enough to spread the creaminess of the yolk without causing the entire sandwich to be soggy. The bread had been seared on each side and had a nice crunch.
I’d love to try this again and ask them if they can put it on different bread (I’m not a huge wheat bread fan).
The interior is always clean, and I am always greeted with a big grin and a happy, friendly hello from the staff.

Back in Manassas on business for a few weeks. I swear this time I am NOT going to gain 9 pounds like I did on my 90+ day trip last Fall! The best way to combat this is to eat healthy yummy groceries.. . so my first stop was, of course, Airfare Café! Holy moley, these guys just keep getting better — lunch was corn & crab chowder with a kale salad topped with a softshell crab. Unbelievable! What will these folks think of next???

Excellent Italian sandwich and coffee! Everything was very fresh and the staff is friendly. The place is very clean and classy for a sandwich joint. It is a little difficult to get to being on a one way street, but is worth checking out.

My friend/​coworker and I went here for lunch (our first time) and got the lobster crab burger the cashier recommended and also was the special of the day lets just say it was the best damn burger ever we wanted to get another one. I can’t wait to go back and try something else! I’m definitely recommending this café to everyone I know. Also is very nice and clean. Staff was friendly and checked on us a few times.

Came back again with my husband yesterday. I had the lobster blt and he had a burger. The food was really very good. We enjoyed a trifle for dessert. As I said in my other review of this place, try the desserts they offer. You won’t be disappointed! I always make a point to come here on the rare occasion I have a weekday off. Yesterday we drove 13 miles out of our way to come here. They’re that good!

My wife and I have had lunch there several time and we really enjoy the restaurant. The food has always been top notch. There are very interesting dishes such as the braised short rib Reuben (it was a daily special), the food has always been well prepared and the staff has always been friendly. We love going there and plan on returning often.

I was invited here for breakfast with a group of friends about 2 months ago and had the Steak and Eggs. Amazing! Since, my friends and I have continued to have breakfast on Fridays at Airfare and have yet to be disappointed. Even on days like today when I am the only one in town, Airfare for breakfast! So far I have had the Steak and Eggs, the Alan Cook, French Toast, and the «Morning Cristo» for breakfast as well as the Cuban sandwich for lunch. About the Morning Cristo, sweet baby Jesus that thing is delicious!
The staff is always nice and courteous. The food is always delicious. They even have a jug of water with fruit in it for customers drinking water! It’s a needed breath of fresh air for breakfast in Manassas!

Been going there on a weekly basis ever since it opened.
I love the food, the chef — Kyle — is always nice to everyone. He even comes to your table to check if everything is Ok! I like almost every dish they have to offer. My favorite is the Portuguese Gazpacho! I advise everyone to try it out.
I’m just sorry that Emily isn’t working there anymore. She was always so nice, always paying attention to details. From the moment I would step my foot in the café she would already be there smiling and taking a coffee for me. She’s the greatest!
I think that (besides good food obviously) it is really important to have a great staff that really knows how to treat customers, so congratulations Airfaire Café!

Love everything about this restaurant. The menu is awesome and everything is made fresh, from scratch something that is nearly extinct in Manassas. I plan on lunching here often!
Parking couldn’t get any better, and as we all know, that’s a luxury in Old Town Manassas that we don’t get too often.
So really, stop by and check it out. You will be pleasantly surprised and leave very happy.

Wanted to submit a review for this restaurant, partly to reduce the impact of M.V.‘s ridiculous and scathing review below (cut them a little slack… they were open for like a week at that point). I stumbled upon this place this morning when I was getting my windshield fixed across the street.
As soon as I walked in, Chef Kyle introduced himself, shook my hand, asked me my name, and explained what they had to offer. Manners and a personal touch in the metro D.C. area?!? Shocking. That would have been enough to garner a good review but the quality of the food and the atmosphere and cleanliness of the place was enough to earn 5+ stars.
Kyle and the entire staff are obviously very personally invested in making this place a success and earning repeat customers. That’s so refreshing to see in an era and an area where mediocrity and apathy seem to permeate most restaurants. I will definitely be back to visit whenever I’m in the area.

The food is good, quality is fresh, and the dining area is very clean and the staff (even the chef) will check in on customers. So from a food experience this place is very nice. The two areas that could use some work are prep time and communication between the register and kitchen.
I write this review only a couple weeks after they have opened so I’ll cut them some slack and give them 4 stars although the overall is about a 3 right now — but they need to improve the wait time for quick foods like cold sandwiches.

I tried the lobster pizza and it was delicious!!! The chef and other employees seem great. And you can tell all their food is really fresh and made to order. The prices are also great for the quality of food you’re getting. I will definitely be back!
