One of my favorite fast food places by far. The food is always good and the staff is fast as ever!

These people are overrated. The service is horrible, the food gave me food poisoning two times, and the manager is as rude as it can get.
I went there a lot of times because I loved there Oreo stuffed cone. Sadly they stopped selling them so I stopped going. After a month I came back and just started getting the regular waffle cones. In the mean time I ordered a meal number 6 and I got food poisoning I had to go to the ER because I was that sick. I thought well maybe it’s just this one time. Now a month later I ordered the same thing and guess what happened to me. I got food poisoning again.
Honestly the inside is dirty. I was at the drive thru window and I saw how one lady dropped fries on the floor. Instead of throwing them out she put them back in the fry maker thing. They do not care their place is filthy and disgusting. Please don’t get food there unless you want to eat floor fries and food poising.
Also about the food. It is made with so much oil and fat no normal person can possibly eat that. The Checkers food is always over cooked and the veggies in the burger aren’t fresh at all. French fries are butter sticks at this place. I can’t taste the fries. All I tasted is oil, butter and a heart attack. Also the drinks are super expensive and they load it with ice. You are not getting the coke you deserve. Just go to McDonalds and get a large coke for $ 1 and not a large iced filled with only two onces of coke drink here that costs like $ 6. This place is too expensive for the horrible food they serve.
Customer service. It’s the worst I have ever seen in my life. I was ordering through the drive through. I said I want to have one vanilla cone. After a moment she said «okay would you like a meal or just a sandwich?» I was so confused they do this to me every time! I say something and they repeat the order wrong. Keep in mind I don’t even have an accent and was speaking clearly and loudly every time.
You know the worst thing they do to me? I say one thing off my order and they tell me the total and tell me to pull up. Excuse me I wasn’t finished with my order. They never let you finish on time even when you say «please wait I’m still looking at the menu»
Overall in my opinion this is the worst fast food chain in the United States. Please if you can avoid this place. They are rude, filthy, and horrible.

Funnel cake is good, but it’s extremely crunchy. Maybe pairing it with ice cream to soften it would be a good idea for next time.

This is only rated on customer service I had a horrible experience today at checkers food was amazing but the lady at the drive-​throughwas horrible if I didn’t have quick reflexes then my drink would’ve got spilled all over my car and then she proceeds to not look me in the base or even my eyes to deliver good customer service I’m all about customer service so to make a long story short the part that I was mostly upset about was when she was giving me my food and just stuck her hand out the window had most of the window closed or she taking someone else’s order and didn’t even say anything about do you want any condiments or anything have a good day nothing at all five go to Chick-​fil-​A they say they say it was my pleasure. And I mean every time I go to Chick-​fil-​A they say it was a pleasure to serve you as customer service checkers take notes

It was probably one of the worst drive thru services ever! Terrible customer service and extremely dirty. They don’t even wear their uniforms. I think cooperate should take a look at this place they least expect it.
And to add to that. When I gave the lady at the window my payment. Her hands where extremely wet that when she gave me back my card it was all wet. Doesn’t look very professional. Food is okay. If you’re looking for a burger go to five guys or either fosters grill

The food is consistently good and quick. The service isn’t the friendliest, but I’m okay with that. They’ve got funnel cakes! YUM!

I went to Checkers for the first time tonight. After a day of not having an appetite and wanting to get a meal. I chose Checkers after watching Undercover Boss. It was packed! The drive thru cashier was soooo nice and the line moved quickly. I look in the store and the crew (and Manager) are busting their butts creating orders correctly and making things happen. What a great experience! I will be a repeat customer.
Take the time to do the surveys on the back of the receipt when places do a great job. I did that and called them later this evening letting them know they did great!

Not a huge fan of fast food but every now and then when you are on the road you just gotta stop by a Checkers lol. After a late night mid week hair appointment, I stopped by… truthfully because my other guilty pleasure (Roy Roger’s) had already closed for the evening. I overheard the customer in front of me order a funnel cake!!! WHAT??! Seriously, I love funnel cakes so much that my Nana bought a funnel and made them for me at home lol. I grabbed one and a small sandwich… just enough to not drown in grease in my sleep but enough to satisfy my craving.
Three stars… its fast food after all!

Food Poisoning. Only two words you need to know.
This was from a few months ago but I guess it didnt post.
I had a chicken sandwich and fries yesterday, and I’ve been doubled over in pain throwing it all up since then. It’s all I ate, so there’s few other explanations. What’s worse is that I have friends and family who refuse to eat there, and my husband says it makes him sick to eat there. Wish I’d known that before going, but I will NEVER eat this food ever again! It’s appalling how many people were not surprised when I told them I was sick, and now thanks to checkers, I get to spend $$$ to pay for the emergency room visit to pump my stomach.
Stay far away. They clearly don’t take care of their food or food prep areas.

tried to used coupon but no they declined… very poor customer service and disgusting food… ordered bacon roadhouse but never again! left with anger and unhappy customer… better fix that dumb coupon policy… never coming back again… no thank you to you checkers… and no hablemos ingles over there too seems like… lack of training staff and dysfunctional staff as well

Best fast food in the area for burger and fries. Food is always hot. Funnel cake at a drive thru? Pretty clever Checkers. Sooo good. You will not be dissatisfied.

the customer service at this place is horrible, who ever the guy is that works the drive thru is rude and a sack of shit, please people do not go here

So much for my low-​carb diet. But as they say, sometimes «You Gotta Eat!» And Checker’s is a guilty pleasure. My wife doesn’t like it but it’s one of my favorite fast food spots. When I lived in Gaithersburg I would drive across town to go to the one on Shady Grove and see what 2 for $X deals they were offering. I don’t go to the one in Manassas much because of the location — I live on the other side of town and I hate the fiasco that is Sudley Rd. — but I stopped here last night on a burger craving.
My go to 2 for $ 5 special was still there — the Double Mushroom and Swiss. Mmmm. Reminds me of the old Mushroom and Swiss burger that I got at Burger Chef, and later Hardee’s, when I was a kid. (Yes old timers, I said Burger Chef — blast from the past!)
I’ve seen the reviews about the «communication issues» here. Find me a fast food restaurant in Manassas where the employees’ native language is English and I’ll show you a leprechaun and a pot of gold. My service was fine, my burgers tasty, my belly full, and my waistline going in the wrong direction. Hooray Checkers!

Great food, love their chicken bites & famous fries! However, the staff doesn’t listen well or repeat your order to you, therefore my order was wrong. But, they were polite enough to apologize.

Arguing math.
I tried to order the $ 1 cheeseburger, $ 2 fries, and two apple pies for $ 1. The worker told me the total was $ 5.74! I said I think you made a mistake on my order. No response. I approached the window and restated that the order must be wrong. She repeated the total, $ 5.74. I told her «How can a dollar cheeseburger, $ 2 fry and $ 1 apple pies be $ 5.74? She read the receipt and said $ 5.74. I said «No.» and drove off.
I think Checkers may have a language problem here. They definitely have customer service and math problems.

Great price, great food.
I wish there is checkers around where I live (Falls Church.) But unfortunately, no.
Checkers chili dog is very simple but extremely tasty.
Cheap fast food that taste pretty good.

I like Checker’s. Always have. Yes the prices increase but they do everywhere else too. The big buford is a good deal and i love the fries. The fish sandwich is good as well and the bargains like 2 for 4 and 2 for 5 are a great deal.
Totally didn’t expect such a large drink. No complaint though, i drank it all. Really good shakes. I love bananas to begin with and find the banana shake to be AWESOME.
Hidden gem: the apple pies.

My fav fast food place

We went because we had amazing coupons come in the mail last weekend. We decided to drive there one Saturday around 8pm, I enjoy late dinners on the weekends. So we go and order, our coupon was for 4 chicken sandwiches and 2 small fries for 5.99. I show the lady the coupon and we ask for a side of ketchup and two drinks.
After we got the bag of food I checked the bag and made sure all the sandwiches and fries were there, but the drinks were missing and so was the ketchup, that we were charged for. We went back to get it and they said we never told them about ketchup, when it said so on the receipt…
We were also charged for soda that we didn’t get, that they tried to dispute. It wasn’t busy, there were 2 other customers there in the drive-​thru, we parked and walked up to the window. They hardly knew any english.
The food tasted good though, but it’s along the likes of similar fast-​food chains. I wouldn’t mind going again since we have all those coupons, don’t wanna put them to waste! A good «comfort» food for those weekend nights ;-)

I am not a regular at any fast food restaurant, however if you are, this place is your best bet.
They have a walk-​up window and outside seating for anyone who wants to get some air while having a meal. The majority of customers use the drive-​thu, which is accessible from both sides of the building, making it possible for the passenger to order without having to yell past the driver.
Now in terms of quality, fat or calorie content Checkers food is not any better for you than the other run-​of-​the-​mill fast food burger joints. However, the food is always hot. The portions are large and the deals are great. They always have some kind of special at low prices.
In contrast, our friends with the golden arch offer some cheaper, but significantly smaller sandwiches, and I can’t remember the last time my order was actually hot.
