Worst experience ever. Extremely dirty. Never eat at this place. Food wasn’t even edible. Waitress messed every Order up. I didn’t even touch the main dish and when I complained they didn’t even offer to compensate me. Served my meal on a broken and dirty dish. To top it off I was served white rice in a bowl that appeared to have pink frosting and crusty old something on it. Place should be shut down. Again don’t ever eat here!!!

As a traveler I am always looking for a good place to eat or get delivery from. I stayed in Manassas, Virginia and China Palace II was the number one hit on Unilocal for delivery. I read the reviews most good and a very few not good, and most talked about the delivery guy. I can see why… He must have jet engines on his shoes because he was there in a flash to deliver my food. Very pleasant and a real nice guy. The ordering process was equally good from a warm and friendly greeting to the final order and amount of cost. I am very impressed with the service and the food is another dimension. I have eaten at a lot of Chinese places across the US and Canada and I must say this one ranks among the top. Food is hot(I felt like playing bake potato trying to unpack the food) it was very hot. It was freshly made and a great flavor in all the dishes. I ordered the Rangoon and wow out of this world flavor and I would say the best I have ever had, crispy but not over done. Wonton soup was great and flavorful and full wontons which you don’t find everywhere. I also ordered the sesame chicken and this is the best I have ever had Yep I’m a pig because I also ordered the Mongolian beef and it to was fresh, hot and very tasty. So now I am very content, belly full and a few leftovers for later or tomorrow. I cannot see why anyone would not give at least 3.5 stars and a bad review. I would like to give 9 stars. As far as I am concerned those people who are not impressed are the ones you couldn’t please if the meal came with a thousand dollars. I will be a repeat customer and I am sure once you try it you will be as well.

This is my go to for Chinese food in the Prince Williams area. The delivery guy is great, and I love how fast everything gets to me. The online ordering system is the same I’ve seen at other Chinese food places in VA, and it’s spectacular. The food hardly disappoints me, although there are a few items that weren’t my favorite. They were still delicious none the less, but not something I’d normally order. Love the Peking duck and steamed dumplings.

Wasn’t expecting much when we walked in, and food was indeed disappointing. Shrimp toast was inedible, black on the outside and cold on the inside, the chicken meat they mixed in the filling was raw, and we couldn’t find much shrimp in the shrimp toast. Kung Pao chicken was really weird, a lot of carrot cubes and celery, and very scarce chicken hidden in the heavy batter. Drunken noodle was terrible, beef was hard, and not much flavor to the noodle other than the super hot peppers. Overall, a very poor experience for us.

Yummy and great value! Popped in here with my husband — we were going into subway and looked in and it was packed! Always a good sign so we went on and enjoyed a wonderful buffet lunch! Wish we lived closer !!

Went in expecting barely tolerable and came out surprised. Fresh food, not your typical steam table fare. Chicken on a stick was fresh, grilled perfectly with that slight brown candied sort of exterior and moist tender interior. The buffet had some kind of fried octopus strips that had a nearly nonexistent batter, fresh, great texture(that is important in octi) and great taste, very impressed. Buffett also had large head-on shrimp, again fried in some kind of paper thin batter, nonexistent stuff. I am definitely not a fried food fan so I only took a little the first time… and then I immediately went back. Fresh Green Beans on the buffet were good, crunchy but could have been more Sichuan. they were Cantonese style and still good enough for seconds ;-)(and a little Sriracha on top did the trick) The place was not«new» but it was clean. Laugh if you want but I always check the bathrooms. A clean bathroom is a good indication of what the kitchen is like. This bathroom was not new, had a very bright orange paint on the walls but was scrubbed. Had a big screen TV. We watched«Now You See Me» while eating lunch. That worked! Like a neighborhood bar, this was a neighborhood Chinese«joint», a hole in the wall, but worth visiting. Happy tummies, happy tastebuds, great service, $ 38 for 4 adults. For comparison, it was not as good as Chi Tung in Evergreen Park Chicago area(among the best, period) but it smokes Panda Express and many other Chinese places at a menu level. I almost subtracted a star for not taking AMEX… :-\

Decent Chinese food, the chicken fried rice is good but the chicken in the sesame chicken was stringy and hard. The sauce was good though overall we keep going back, haven’t found a better place yet.

Consistently good I’ve ordered here quite a few times and it’s always tasty. Delivery is super fast and food is reasonably priced. They have really good creamy Crab rangoon perfectly paired with the orange sauce… yum! I’ve ordered different meals like shrimp fried rice, veggie lo mien and beef and broccoli. Nice portion side… always good. The only thing I don’t care for is the spring rolls.

Came here for a late night meal after a movie and were pleasantly surprised by how fresh and nicely prepared the food was. The chicken fried rice was light and flavorful, not at all greasy. The chicken was tender. The pork noodle soup was loaded with fresh vegetables in a very nice broth.

Pretty good food. Having lived in Centreville for 12 years I grew accustomed to the food there. Sadly the place I used to order is in Fair Lakes and will not deliver here. I digress… My brother and I called everywhere, Szechuan Garden, didn’t pick up the phone, Jade palace said we were too far? Anyway we finally called China Palace II, the guy on the phone seemed non complacent, but at least he listened and was courteous. Anyway, they came pretty fast, the delivery guy was nice, and the biggest thing was he forgot his pen in his car. I have plenty of pens, so it was no big deal… if that’s the worst that happened call me lucky. As for the food, the sweet and sour sauce was watery, and neither sweet or sour(no biggie, the other places usually give you 17 large cups of it and I barely use one, they give you 2 small cups.) The fried wontons were crispy and tasty, the chicken was good and the fried rice was absolutely delicious. I would definitely try again. *update* I have given this place a few more tries, I love how fast they are, and that they don’t use MSG. Definitely give it a try.

Been there several times for the buffet. Been enjoying Chinese buffets in Manassas for 30 years. Chinese Imperial in the Kmart shopping center used to be the best, but their quality went way down and price way up; I won’t go there anymore. I’ve enjoyed China Palace’s hot and sour soup and have gotten it several times. Not the best I’ve had, but the best in Manassas. So I ate there yesterday for the 5th time… the buffet. They get tremendous business from Latino men construction workers. So much so that they have fried plantains on their limited buffet. I always start with the hot and sour soup, dumplings, and spring rolls. Mediocre. Then tried a little of everything else on the buffet; mediocre. Nothing so good that I’d want to go back. I think I’ve been there my last time. They will continue to do well with the Latino construction workers, and for that, I say kudos to the owners for pleasing their target audience. To those who know good Chinese, stay away.

Chinese food you won’t forget. At last, I’ve found an exceptionally good chinese restautant in Manassas. I’ve found the really good chinese restaurants will serve mu shoo pork and the exceptional ones do a really good job at it. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. It’s clean very clean. They have a nice lunch buffet for $ 7.95 with all your traditional favorites. A great menu selection and reasonably priced for lunch and dinner. The mu shoo pork is excellent! Lot’s of booths and tables you can put together if you have a group. It’s a bit off the beaten path but worth the trip.

I stopped here tonight after work for some dinner. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken dinner special which comes with fried rice and an egg roll My first thought when I ordered was there wasn’t going to be much food because the price was only $ 6.50. Boy was I wrong. There was plenty of food and it tasted very good. The only thing that could have been better was the egg roll. So far it was the best Chinese food I’ve had in manassas. Give them a try!

I wish I had tried this place years ago. The Kung Pao was great. Finally, a Chinese place that puts plenty of vegetables in their food. Coming here from New York City, and before that Albuquerque, I’m used to vegetables in my Chinese food. The sauce wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but it was nice. The egg roll was good. The lunch special was plenty of food, and a great price. Within the U.S., Chinese food varies with regions and I was resigned to never eating Chinese food here again.

The best chinese in the area based on price quantity and quality. We usually get General Tso’s chicken, Hunan beef, Combo lo mein, Sesame Chicken, or Mu Shu pork and it is always fantastic. Their fried meat dumplings are the must have appetizer. One of the best in Manassas hands down. My family and I order from here all the time. It must have been under different management when these other people reviewed the place because what they are saying I have never experienced in the dozens of times I have ordered from here.

There has got to be better chinese food in Manassas. Go find it. Take a pass on this place. I agree, the soup was too oily and there actually seemed to be chunks of animal fat in it. The egg foo young isn’t too bad, but the gravy is really watery. Same on the lemon chicken, the lemon sauce was like water with a little lemon flavor. Pork Fried Rice was extremely dry. Honeslty, the Wok ‘n’ Roll is pretty bad too, but I’d go there before China Palace, every time!

I ordered their food from their hotel, so cannot comment on their restraurant’s interior. Having said that, their hot and sour soup is not bad. It’s a bit oily side with not so spicy side. So is their Sha Cha Chicken. As a matter of fact, maybe because I got a delivered food, the food ended up being kinda soggy. Their spring rolls are not bad though. If you’re hungry for Chinese food, this is not a bad option. I’m sure there’re better choices even in Manassas though.
