Food is fresh and tasty. Lemonade it’s delicious :) Price it’s fair and the restaurant it’s clean. I get the chopped pork, my boyfriend gets the chopped beef and my roommate get the chicken and ribs. We don’t have any complaints.

One of my favorite barbecue places. Best collard greens anywhere. I really like the cornbread and macaroni. Fast service and always good no matter what you are in the mood for.

My husband and I love this place. Friendly and fast service. Sauce is off the hook. Always good.

In a word… disappointing. I ordered the large combo which comes with chicken, beef, pork & ribs. You get two sides and includes corn bread. The beef and pork was smashed up and was almost tasteless. The piece of chicken was a skimpy back and a drum stick… bad! I’ll give this place one star on their ribs. They were large and had ample meat but the taste was… blah. You’ll find much better choices. At $ 15.35, just not a good value

Quick friendly service. I got a pork sandwich with potato salad and mac and cheese. Very low quality food across the board. I would never eat here again.

Good Food This is some good food. It’s a BBQ type place where they cook a lot of meat. The menu is a big summer backyard party type of food, meat, mashed potatoes, cornbread, cole slaw, etc. They cook the meat over a wood fire, and anyone who has done some outdoor cooking know that this is the preferred method. People get gas grills because it’s convenient. Same thing with charcoal. Charcoal is better than gas, but it takes longer. The best way is with wood. There are also preferred types of wood. When you’re out camping you can grab some chestnut or oak or whatever(i’m not a tree hugger so I don’t know what types of wood are in my backyard), but from what I understand mesquite is the most flavorful, but I digress. This place cooks over wood, and the difference is well worth it.

Does not appear to be real deal bbq but more like grilled food using wood at a heating source in the grill. I prefer cooking low and slow. Sides were ok. Not terrible and not great. Better than other places but will probably not come back.

I have been going to this place for years for the same platter. Ribs, potato salad, and collards. Hands down best collards I have tasted out of all the bbq places I have been to in VA. The only bad thing is that I have also been working on my own way of slow cooking ribs and making great sides to go with it. My collards are almost on par with these so its only a matter of time before I stop coming. I still give this place 4 stars because it really is hard to find good bbq anywhere in VA. Hence, buying the smoker to have at home.

Prices are fair. Food is decent to good. Not mind blowing, but also not disappointing. You get what you pay for. The good news is that it is hard to do barbecue poorly. Cook any meat long enough and it will be tender and delicious.

Just awful. The ribs were ok, the chicken was ok, but chopped up in a weird way. The sauce was maybe ok. BUT the chopped pork was like dog food. Seriously, they have a picture of the pork sandwich in there window, and I thought I It was a burger! OMG! The worst so called pulled pork Sandwich I ever had! Do not go here! Yuck!

I only ate one sandwich. I went in and looked around. They had the grills and the wood and they WERE cooking the meat over hickory. It looked great. So I orderd a BBQ pork sandwich. The lady there said it was only available chopped. Well she should have said minced. It almost looked like mush. I ate it, it wasn’t bad but I don’t like mush. When I asked her if they ever considered slicing their meat she got mad and I thought she was going to throw me out of the place. She sneered at the thougt of anything but pulverized meat so I never went back. They do seem to have regular customers who like their stuff though but not me.

Stopped in here last night and grabbed it to go. They give you so much food for a good price. The large Wild Combo was gigantic! You get the pork bbq, beef bbq, a couple of ribs, 2 pieces of bbq chicken, corn bread and 2 sides for about 13.00! We also got a pint of pork bbq. We have enough leftover we can have it for dinner again tonight! The collards are great, red beans and rice were a little dry, and the cornbread was decent. Happy to say we have found a new home to get our BBQ.

skip the sides and focus on ordering barbecue ribs, pork, beef, chicken, etc. they also serve bulgogi if you’re in the mood for some korean food. prices are decent and service is good. i went with a friend and the staff accommodated us despite being there an hour before the restaurant was scheduled to open.

I stopped by for lunch on a friday. There was a steady flow of customers, most of whom where grabbing their lunch to-go. I wanted a sampling of what they offer, so I ordered a combo, it came with a drink, a couple of ribs, chopped pork, chopped beef, chicken breast, 2 sides, and corn bread. I really liked the chopped meats and the chicken. I thought the sides were ordinary and bland, and the ribs were drowned in too much sauce. Bringing me to my next point, the bbq sauce is bright bright red and really sweet. Reminded me of a doctored up version of sweet and sour. If I return I think I’ll stick to just a pork or beef bbq sandwich.

I was in the mood for non corporate BBQ and found this little place in Manassas, when you walk in the place is very clean and organized with seating for 20 people maximum. I ordered the chopped BBQ pork platter with hot sauce that came with two sides, I requested potato salad and baked beans. The service was fast and less than 5 minutes my tray was up, turning to a table I sat down to a platter, the potato salad was nearly mushed potato salad and little flavor at all. The baked beans were nothing more than warmed up canned beans and to be honest they lacked any character of flavor, the disappointment continued to the sandwich which was not chopped but a consistency of over handled commercial bbq from a container. Not withstanding the price of 8.50 for the platter is not bad but the quality of food is lacking, no flavor or resemblance of my BBQ joints.

I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was all globbed together in the shape of a patty. The consistency was awful and the BBQ sauce tasted like ketchup and sweet and sour sauce. The beans had no flavor and were colorless as well. The food here is school cafeteria grade, which is too bad. The price was reasonable, but not for the quality of food. I won’t be going back.

Not a bad place. Just very simple southern food. I got the pulled pork sandwich to go. and it comes with like 2 sides. The food was decent, but not memorable. Customer service was pretty good though. I ordered for everyone at my job and picked it up. they gave me a large cardboard box to put everything in.
