Drive through is slow as heck, if you see that drive through is back up. Might as well walk in, once you get your food, come back out and the drive through haven’t even move. Lol. Crappy location.

The workers at this place are horrendously unsanitary when it comes to handling food! I ordered a meal here last week and had to ask for a refund when I saw one of the employees put a napkin up their nostril and didn’t even wash her hands before heading back to work!!! I’ve been uneasy about ordering here before but that was the decisive moment for me. Never ordering here again.

K guys, it’s about time we call it quits. My bf and I have come here every once in a while to splurge for the past two to three years. 2014 was the year of the wrong sides. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Since then there have been just as many problem meals as good meals. Once for lunch I got a few curly hairs in my box. You can keep the extra protein guys. :). Once they gave us both 3 piece chicken tender orders when we ordered 5 piece. I swear that sometime in 2015 their prices went up by about $ 1-$ 2 per meal. That makes it particularly frustrating when they forget entire sides which happened twice. But I know what you’re thinking, «that’s from a while ago, they’ve totally changed!» No. Tonight was possibly the worst Popeyes I’ve ever had. We both ordered the same thing, spicy 5 piece chicken tenders. My box had about 7 – 8 broken up tender segments which I wouldn’t normally mind… But half of them were mild and half were spicy… Wtf? My bf got 5 full size and one of them was mild too. To top it off, one of the mild tender segments had two little bone splinters in it. The mild tenders were very shriveled and dry compared to the spicy ones too. $ 10+ a meal for this crap is way too much. We will be avoiding this particular location for quite a while. It’s 50/50, and quite frankly not worth the risk of getting bad food.

Way OverPriced I don’t typically go for fried chicken but my mom enjoys the Popeyes chicken she gets in Baltimore. I stopped off here since I was bringing the family down to Virginia for a Super Bowl party tomorrow We were stunned at the prices. They charged $ 31.19 for a 12 Pc dinner which is clearly $ 4 -$ 5 higher than the avg price my mom has seen anywhere. I went online and confirmed this to be true based on the link: Amazing that they would be ripping off the Manasses community like this. The food was also subpar based on people who go to Popeye’s often in Maryland.

Food is pretty good but I’ve been to this location multiple times and everybody BUT the supervisor has good customer service.

It’s Popeyes so obviously great food but the customer service is horrible. And definitely the slowest drive thru in all of Manassas.

I have been to a Popeyes only once before, which was a handful of months ago while in Utah where the restaurant chain has only recently started popping up. The chicken was fresh, flavorful and had the perfect crisp. Finding myself craving that delightful chicken I decided to hit up this location after one of my frequent visits to the nearby used book store. I used the drive thru so I can’t make any comments about the interior. The drive thru menu looked particularly aged and I believe was out of date. Don’t they have hush puppies? These were not listed on the menu. I ordered a combo of fries and chicken strips with a coke. The fries were the only good thing about it. The coke had a terribly odd taste. Not sure what was up with it. And the chicken was so fatty, many pieces were inedible. Certainly not what I was craving. And I didn’t realize how over priced this place was. Had it been what I had enjoyed in UT I would be giving this 4, maybe even 5 stars. And it would have been worth the price. But not this… Sad day! You would think being closer to the proper south I could get some real fried chicken, even at a fast food joint. I guess not.

I think this is my 2nd review of this location. I visited this location about a year ago and was disappointed with the service and cleanliness. I was pleasantly surprised. They welcomed me in even though they had 10 minutes to open up the place. The food was hot and the spicy was spicy!!! Everything was good. I peeked at the kitchen and it was very clean. Staff were extremely friendly and polite. Manager was outstanding!!! Driveway, well… it has issues still lol.

This is a funky location. You MUST exit at a traffic light. You can only turn right between 430p &630p, no one wants to! The food here is just OK. It’s kinda pricey for what you get. The popcorn shrimp is the one noteworthy item on the menu.

I decided to give Popeyes a try for the first time in probably 10 years or so. I usually go to KFC and I figured I would check out something different. That’s a mistake I won’t make again. First of all, Popeyes is more expensive. Most of the piece meals were a dollar more than you find at KFC. Secondly, the size of the chicken is significantly smaller. My drumstick wasn’t much bigger than the drumstick you see when you get buffalo wings somewhere. Third, for this specific Popeyes, it was kind of a dump. Pretty much all of the tables were dirty even though there wasn’t anyone in there. Additionally, there was nothing out on the counters for our meal. No napkins, utensils, straws, condiments. Nothing. We had to ask at the counter for every single thing. Lastly, I got the spicy version and it turned my stomach into a Syrian war zone the next day. So, do yourself a favor and drive about 2 minutes up Sudley to the KFC.

I went through the drive-thru at this location tonight and it was a horrendous experience. The girl yelled through the speaker and at the window and the lines were very long and not well managed. I ordered a 4 piece platter and a 3 piece tenders platter which both items come with 2 sides, a biscuit and a drink. Once I got home, I opened the boxes and found that they only gave 3 pieces of chicken instead of 4 and no biscuit and my husband received no biscuit as well. When we tasted our sweet tea, it tasted like water and was not sweet at all. I could see all the way to the bottom of the cup, it was severely watered down. This is not the first time we’ve been cheated out of food at this location. With the price of their food(which I will gladly pay because it’s very good), I would expect them to make sure that you get everything you order.

What is the deal with the drive through? I have been there 3x, always through the drive through and not one single time did they get my order right. I was dumb not to look through everything because I was in a rush and it was always large, family sized orders. Every time I got jipped and did not receive everything I ordered. Will not be back.

I stopped here for takeout last night. I went inside for my order so I can’t comment on the drive-thru service. I ordered the LTO waffle chicken tender combo which comes with fries and a biscuit. The service was fast and I was only in the store about 5 minutes. Everything was warm and fresh even the fries. My biggest gripe with fast food is usually the fries are cold and not fresh. Maybe I got lucky. I really enjoyed the waffle breading on the chicken. It was nice and crispy but not dried out, just perfect. The honey maple sauce is device but don’t expect it to be like syrup you would put on your waffles. Its was thick and more like a dipping sauce. The only negative about the experience was the parking lot, it needs work. I paid in cash so no concerns about ETF fees. If you don’t like the fees just pay with cash.

Waited a half hour going through the drive thru. This Popyes needs to get there act together. However the shrimp was good.

The drive thru here is worthless. Slow as can be and completely disorganized. Of the few times I have come here, fully 50% of the time I get something other than what I ordered once I’ve driven away. I should have learned by now to look before I drive. Usually by the time I actually get my food I’m so impatient I just want to be gone. It happened again today so I’m sitting here eating some garbage I didn’t order. Not specific to this location but their chicken ain’t cheap either, expect to spend a minimum $ 10 for a couple of pieces of chicken.

I used to really like popeyes but the menu change took away the good chicken sandwiches and this particular location doesn’t always have good service. It was right after they changed there menu I asked if they still had a chicken sandwich that wasn’t made with chicken strips and the guy told me to try KFC. Which I did and that’s usually where I get my chicken now.

The chicken at Popeye’s is great however this location totally SUCKSBALLS!!! I swear they always have their promotions plastered to the windows and even on the menu but as soon as you try to order said promotion, the promotion is magically over or was over last weeks. I swear the chicken lady on the radio needs to bring her AZ here and clean house. For instance I go in today and for some unknown reason I didn’t check my chicken box. I get back to work to find out that I didn’t receive a biscuit. Now ain’t that a bish!!! The chick gave me the two honeys that I asked for but not my darn biscuit. Did she really think I needed honey to put on my chicken, really. The worse thing about this location is they don’t have a drive thru. SMH. Also this is like the most expensive fast food chicken EVER. Be sure to order the dinner specials. 2 piece for $ 4.99 with a side, drink, and a biscuit. That’s about the cheapest you’ll get. The only reason why I keep going back is cause I LOVETHATCHICKENFROMPOPEYES!!!

This must be a fun place to work because when I came in this afternoon there were no customers in the lobby but there were several employees laughing loudly in the back. It continued for several minutes. WATCHYOURCHANGEHERE. Today I ordered a 3 piece combo for $ 7.99. Tax was $.40 cents and then they add something called ESF for $.57. I mentioned something when the $ 8.96 total came up on the screen. The cashier said that because I paid cash I would get a discount. Well that’s just dandy but I dont want a discount… I want the ticket to be accurate and I don’t want to be cheated on my purchase. I’ll post a photo of the subtotal of the ticket in a minute. I wish I could laugh and carry on at work but I can’t…I work around customers everyday and image is important.

I really want to like Popeyes — I mean I want the food to be better than it is. It always sounds so interesting and enticing. Every so often I am lured in thinking I am going to have a really tasty Southern Cajun style meal. And I am almost always disappointed. Today was such a day. I was thinking Cajun thoughts and decided to pop in to Popeyes for some vittles at dinner time. I’ve been to this Popeyes a couple of times previously — but not since I started Unilocaling. I ordered the #5 Combo — fried catfish with a side of your choice, a biscuit, and a beverage. I chose the mashed potatoes and gravy as my side — and ordered a second side — Red Beans and Rice. Beverage was a Diet Coke. Food came up quickly. I received two sides of tartar sauce with the fish, grabbed some napkins, a spork, and a straw and selected a place to sit. The dining area really needed a good scouring/scrubbing down. Everything was just average. The tartar sauce was too thick IMHO — it needed to be creamier. The Red Beans and Rice were kind of blah, The fried catfish was decent, as were the mashed potatoes(for a fast food joint). I was thinking I wanted some butter and blueberry jam on that biscuit. The biscuit had a nice flaky consistency. Next time I am thinking Cajun — I will run straight to Okra’s in Old Town Manassas!
