I don’t think they care about there job much here. 5 people walking around laughing while my drink sits at the window. took 5 minutes for someone to take my money and no apologies.

Not sure I appreciate the rude look when my espresso is handed to me. I took it with a smile. How rude!

Not the best Starbucks

General comments — I can’t quite figure out this Starbucks. The staff is always all over the place and can’t seem to fulfill drink orders «in order» and timely. I also find the drinks at this location to be either very weak or assaulting my senses strong. This location has a drive thru that is perpetually backed up into the main road. Today the line was super long and I opted to go inside to order. There were 6+ staff working; well honestly it’s hard to count since they are jumping around all over the place… one minute there was 2 cashiers, then a few minutes later one would disappear for a while. Same with the folks making the drinks. Again the drive thru is backed up, there is a line inside, and a bunch of folks waiting for drinks; yet there is no order or logic to how they are operating. Look, I appreciate that they are busy in the morning, but I have been to other busy locations, in more populated areas, that manage to execute orders without issue. AM is your peak time, plan for it! Clearly the lack of consistency in your drinks is because this location is backed up and they start slapping drinks together willy-​nilly. Clearly they are backed up because they are ridiculously disorganized. There is a good article on the Myth of Multitasking. Someone in charge at this location should look it up… quickly!!!
Today’s Experience — I order one hot drink and one cold drink, pay, and move to the end to wait. The barista is whipping out the hot drinks, albeit it in a messy fashion… REALLY messy… maybe better described as sloppy… and my hot drink is ready pretty quickly. I watch her make 5+ additional drinks, completing all orders for people behind me in line but doesn’t touch the cup to make the cold drink. 2^nd person joins the barista, still skips ALL of the cold drink cups/​orders that are waiting, and starts prepping for other drinks. More drinks are completed for inside customers but not my cold drink. I watch a bit longer and then decide to say something. Surprise, surprise, I get a passive aggressive attitude in response. Small victory because she did finally make my cold, weak drink. Clearly this location is poorly managed or maybe not managed at all??? Again the AM is your peak time and you can’t prepare better???
I have to agree with other Unilocal reviews that this location has a bad vibe. It’s expected since the staff has a bad attitude and the customers are ticked. I was not the only one who had to move the staff along or remind them of something. Another patron, who placed an order online, had to literally butt in to get someone’s attention to pick up her drink. That person didn’t even get it for her, she had to wait for someone else. This Starbucks is not run well enough to have an official «online order distributor» position so it’s clear the first staff person didn’t hand her the drink because she didn’t like being interrupted. Again, passive aggressive.
A call to corporate is likely in order if I get another inconsistent, expensive drink from millennials with poor attitudes.

This location is great! Drive through is always quick, and order is always right. I asked what the best tea was for a cold, and they came up with a mixture for me that was perfect! I was very impressed.

Relatively reduced-​important mindset and delicious espresso. I arrive right here frequently for his or her Angeleno; it’s costly but really delicious and creamy. I like to believe the rich coffee makes it all worth it, although a definite scene.

This location always gets my drink right, and employees have always been friendly. Occasionally they are a little slow when they’re busy, but I expect that to get my drink right.

Drive thru SUCKS I didn’t know what to order so they made me what that thought I wanted and then was super pissy when I told them what I really wanted basically shut the window in my face!

Will not be coming back to this Starbucks. Drive thru lady to concerned with her phone to get my order correct.

Horrible. Took 20 min for an ice coffee. It is clean like every Starbucks, but the workers were talking the entire time and I had to asks twice for my ice coffee to be made for me. Really disappointing, I’m definitely going to the 24 hr Starbucks off Sudley from now on. Gosh. You just lost a daily customer.

This location is generally good. Unfortunately I ordered a regular coffee with half/​half in the drive-​thru and it was the worst coffee I’ve ever had, couldn’t finish it. It was completely watery and flavorless.

Great service, same good flavor. I like the flat white and short coffee. The chocolate crossiant is amazing also.

Great Starbucks! Drinks are always right, no matter the time and who is working! The employees here take pride and actually care about their job!

First of I am not in the Starbucks fan club. So I may be a bit bias. The place is clean, and the staff for the most part is kind and professional. However I have had a few workers there seem off put that I did not know the coffee snob terms.
All in all not a bad time, but not amazing… Come on its Starbucks.

The drive through is the worst. We frequent ALL the local Starbucks. The only location worse than this one is in the Bristow Safeway, where they always make the seasonal coffees wrong, heavy cappuccinos, no bueno. The wait in the drive through at this Manassas location is ridiculous!!! We waited 30min with about 5 cars in front, what are they doing? Walking to Columbia to pick the beans!!! It’s like we were held hostage, once you are in the loop there is no going back. I think location is going to go on our permanent avoid list.

Oh and not to mention that their seats are super comfortable! I love going to this location and just reading my book :)

I only go here because it’s the closest to my job/​house.
The average wait time in the drive thru is about 10 minutes. This morning I waited 21 minutes.
I very rarely get greeted with a smile or a «Thank you», when my order is completed. Believe me, if I didn’t like their high-​priced iced coffee so much, I’d avoid this place. Most times when I leave this place, I am in a worse mood than when I came.

This place is my fav.
Mainly because I can drive thru.
It’s just so easy.
I also like that I can use my Starbucks plastic cup and get an additional
10% off, now that is cool, right?
What can be cooler than that?
Well, I will tell you.
This morning, I made my usual early morning drive thru for a skinny cinammon dolce latte with a piece of bananna walnut bread. When I got to the window to pay the Barista told me, «that lady ahead of you picked up your tab».
SHE DID WHAT?
All I know is that she was driving a green VW Passat and had dark hair.

My favorite Starbucks in Manassas. They have my drink ready for me before I even open m y mouth most times and there is a very good chemistry between all of the baristas that work there. Polite, respectful, professional and friendly.
There is a drive-​through if you are so inclined to use it (I never do) and it is always clean and orderly. Newspapers in a basket for those who want to steal some reading in. Lots of tables to sit in and a cozy, nice atsmosphere.

Oh Starbucks, they are usually so good to me, but this location I can’t seem to love. My drinks just always seem to taste a tiny bit off. The last time that I was here at this location in Manassas I was a bit shocked at how long I waited for my drink. It was late afternoon with no other cars in the drive thru, looked like maybe 5 or so seated inside at tables and FOUR people working. I waited over 5 minutes for my drink and the guy didn’t even apologize for the lengthy wait, just handed me my drink and the window shut. Any other location they are a bit more friendly even at times I can’t blame them for a wait; like when the line is 7 cars deep.
