Tried this for lunch today and thought it was very good! Granted, it wasn’t crowded, so I didn’t notice any service issues some other Unilocalers complained about. Had the smoked eggplant and«taste of anatolia» pizza and both were tasty. The food came quickly, but while we waited we strolled through the attached furniture/rug/knicknack shop. Lots of interesting things to see. We will definitely go back!

I’ve never seen a brick oven eatery inside a furniture/rug/home décor store. But that just makes Depot 62’s uniqueness all the more delightful. The arugula salad was excellent and the pizza was good. If you want to eat at a place unique and memorable, go here and maybe you’ll take home a funky wall clock or artisanal cat scratching post as well.

My family loves this restaurant. We eat dinner here every Friday night ion our way to Stratton. My kids eat a whole classic pizza each and it is truly one of the best pizzas you will ever eat. The pizzas are cooked in their brick oven to perfection. All pizzas are delicious. The owner and staff are very professional and friendly. They also serve lunch.

After standing in the front for several minutes a women came over and said it would be a 30 – 45 minute wait. We came back in exactly 30 minutes and she told us she had already called our name and we would have to wait another 30 – 45 minutes. I complained and magically they found a table a minute later. The food was excellent, but as other reviews mentioned the service was awful. There are even some tables in the front that they are selling but would not seat customers at…

I walked in with two other people looking for lunch yesterday. The place was busy and it appeared not tables were empty, but there was no line so we figured we’d wait. We waited about 5 minutes while staff walked by us repeatedly not acknowledging us. Finally, we flagged down an older woman and asked if we could be put on a list. She pointed to the bar and in a nasty tone said: «go sign up if you want to». Since it seemed that our business wasn’t desired and we were concerned that this was a reflection of the service we would received, we decided to leave. **I want to also note that we regularly visit Manchester, at least10 times a year and every time we eat lunch out. We often have guests with us as well. We will not step foot back in and will make it a point to spread the word.

This was one of the best places I ate at while visiting Manchester Vermont this past August. The atmosphere is great. Love that it is an eclectic furniture store. Love that they serve organic food. The lunch me and my family ordered definitely hit the spot. The pizza was phenomenal! It was thin crust and served on a metal plate. I had a very delicious arugula salad with shaved cheese. Our waitress was very calm, nice and accommodating. While waiting for the food me and my daughter looked at the bags for sale that were hung up on the wall. They were pricey but very nice of course. They were real leather and I really liked this one with a star on it. At the end of our meal another waitress asked us if we would like dessert. my daughter did want dessert but we didn’t know what was on the menu. We asked the waitress what the options were and she told us we could go up to the counter to take a look. While at the counter my daughter did not want any of the individual pastries or cookies. She asked for a chocolate chip cookie. They did not have any individual ones so I had to buy a $ 5.00 package of them. I have to admit though that they were very delicious! Thin and crunchy and delicious! This place might not look like it is kid friendly but I saw lots of children dining here. The long table in front of the counter was occupied with a large family with school aged children. While we were dining a couple came in with their infant to dine as well. If you like organic and love an artsy type of atmosphere you will love this place!!!

This is our favorite place to eat in Manchester Center. My son doesn’t usually eat a lot at one seating, but he will devour a cheese pizza from there. He says it’s the best pizza on the planet. He and his Grandpa were going to share a pizza, poor Grandpa barely got 2 pieces, maybe 3 and the child ate the rest. He even wanted desert. He chose the fresh mango sorbet, it came served in a frozen mango skin. He loved it! My husband got a lamb dish and said it was the best lamb he’s ever eaten. I got an arugula salad with lemon vinaigrette, really good. The Baklava was out of this world. We got peppermint tea and we were served a large mug of it, so delicious. The fresh made Hummus is also excellent. Love love love this place! The cool furniture and household decorations are stunning. Must go there, can’t miss this place. Can’t wait to go back!!!

The pizza was rather good. 12 inches is large enough. Service was slow, maybe because it was late at night… Furniture store was fun to walk around but too expensive and large for visitors to buy.

The food is ok, the service is spiky and fast — no relationship with the spicy woman. Had eggplant and pita — basically unflavorful babaganou. While it easily serves two, we were not aware and my sister and I had far too much of it each ordering it. We also ordered lentil soup — also Meh(my sister loved it). Fun to eat and meet others via sharing the middle table, a large 12 seater. Turkish coffee was thankfully piping hot! Loved the coffee shot. Furniture store notable for Turkish rugs!

Amazing! I am shocked at this low rating. In my opinion, this is a MUSTGO! Food was superb and the perfect little lunch spot. Our service was fine, no issues, but if you’re excepting a finely served restaurant(like most of these reviews seem to have expected) look elsewhere. Otherwise if you want an amazing relaxed meal in a really neat environment– look no further!

Mediterranean café inside a furniture boutique. Many gluten free choices and several lamb dishes all prepared with organic ingredients.

Pizza and the bread is unbelievable. We had leeks, eggplant salad, hummus and salmon while the kids had pizza. You can shop around while waiting for food. The staff is friendly and the owner is extremely knowledgeable about food and his merchandise. Great place to have organic food and spend couple of hours for shopping and chatting. Gilda

Sorry I can only offer 2 stars. We went to dinner there tonight and I have this to share: the lentil soup was really good(1 star), the pizza was below average, our chicken dish seemed dry and my last bite of the evening was a grizzle piece. The atmosphere was funky I suppose, essentially eating within an antique store. I was happy to see some gluten free options(1 more star). Unfortunately the service also wasn’t so great… the waitress came around only every 15 minutes or so and at one point our water glasses were all empty for quite some time. This was on a slow Tuesday night when the restaurant only had 3 tables total. I can’t imagine what this place would offer up on a busy weekend dinner service. On a positive note the food was generally affordable, I hope they do a better job in the future but I won’t be back for a second visit

Service is flat our terrible here. Some of the food is good if you ever receive it and don’t mind waiting an unreasonable amount of time. They only had one waitress, no seating hostess, a chef, a sous chef, and two other teenagers doing minimal cleaning. There were at least 40 people plus many takeout orders when I went. No wonder their service was terrible. We had the lamb pizza and the kofta Turkish lamb meatballs in yogurt sauce served with pita. We also ordered an espresso that we never got. The lamb meatballs were good, but over priced at roughly $ 16 for the tiny meatballs we received. The pita was authentic and fresh. Lamb pizza bland and in need of spice. Also did not appreciate the communal table here. We had very loud, noisy children next to us. A somewhat interesting environment that is degraded by the chaotic, disorganized and rude atmosphere that often results from very poor management. The food and atmosphere might be novel for Manchester but the service really makes it too frustrating to be worth it.

Good food. Terrible service. Ordered 2 wines, got one. Had to go up to counter after awhile(I gave them time in case they needed to open a new bottle) No napkins, asked for some. Never came until I went up and got them.

If I could give it zero stars I would… Walked in, waited to be seated for over 10min, watched another group be seated ahead of us that just cut right in front of us. Was promised the next table only to incredously watch another group be sat at that table… I voiced my displeausre to put it mildly, and walked out. Dont bother with this place… Completely unprofessionally ran.

Such a great concept and feel. The food was quite good, unfortunately the service was bordering on offensive. Our server, who appeared to be the owner was unpleasant and rather rude. This seemed to be her general demeanor as she treated all guests equally during our visit. Seems a shame as it will prevent our return. We will also be sure to share put experience with others. We had hoped to purchase some furniture for our ski house, and by the end of lunch we decided we would rather not do business here in spite of their lovely pieces.

I can easily say that this place not only has really fabolous food but also the concept is great. Imagine wining & dining in an upscale rugs, home furnishings & accessories store where you can buy even the chair & table you sit. The rugs, hand picked by the owner who is a 3rd generation rug dealer, are all top notch and of great quality. Try the pizzas, you will love the crust and unique variations. Do try the hummus. It is perfect and is the real thing. Last but least, taste their home made baklava. It is a treat. Your host Serap, is always on the watch for any client requests. If you meet the owner, whose name is Alp, by chance then you are in for some great conversation and good time. I totally recommend Depot 62…

Huh, thought I reviewed this place before when it was our go to spot for homey good food with wine in interesting surroundings /you are literally eating within a furniture store. We really did love it. Went yesterday, and even though lady owner /manager recognized us, we received poor service and sub par food. She even forgot some drinks and we would have ordered dessert but they brought us the check before we could even order it. A real disappointing experience. This place is officially off our radar screen and is now replaced with JJ Hapgood for casual afternoon dining.

It is really fun to dine here, in the middle of a furniture store — an exotic one at that! You can sit at one huge, long table for 16 — if you are feeling sociable, or grab your own table. They serve wine and beer at fairly reasonable prices. The salads look fresh and abundant. We had wood fired wild mushroom pizza, which was delicious, and lamb Guyvec(lamb stew with eggplant and tomato), and lamb/veal Kofte. Both were served with wood fired lavash. The Guyvec was good, because the lamb and eggplant were tender and not fatty. However it was a little bland and lacked garlic and any heat. My husband’s Kofte, on the other hand, was spicy and loaded with garlic(& maybe a bit too much salt) — so I will have that next time. I love that they have my favorite diet root beer–(Stewarts). This unusual place a terrific find.
