When it’s late at night and your friends are posting pizza all over social media, and your stomach takes notice… To add to it all, you walk past this place and the aroma hits you and calls to you. I caved. I even indulged in an entire large to myself. Eight slices? Is that enough? That fresh, hot, pepperoni pizza was made with love I tell yuh. I watched it as it emerged from the oven, was placed in it’s box, and sliced with speed and ease. The kitchen here is small, but they get things done somehow, and I can appreciate that. The sauce is a little sweet and it’s missing something… I can’t pinpoint what exactly. But overall, this place is a great treat.

Lifetime local and huge fan of Beach Pizza! The 3 stars vs 5 is for the rude lady that takes orders via phone, very unfriendly when we pickup as well. Hope that changes soon or we may have to change pizza spots.

Just moved here from Chicago and tried all the pizza places in MB. Finally found Beach Pizza and the search for our pizza spot is over. Thin crust pizza and garlic knots are da bomb! Make sure you get an extra side of marinara sauce, you’ll thank me later. Wish they had an easy way to order from them online instead of calling with my cc each time. Maybe utilize Grubhub?

My order was over 2 hours late because they«lost the ticket.» When I called to inquire the person said«Why didn’t you call sooner to see where the order was?» They delivered the order after 2+ hours and the charged me Full price! Horrific customer service. Unfriendly and unaccommodating. We have been ordering for 15 years from Beach Pizza but this was sadly the last.

Not sure what happened here, but in justice I have to update my review. The quality of the pizza remains excellent but the service is now much more courteous and competent.

I’ve been going to this super yummy spot for 16 + years. Food is always great and the people who work here are so nice and helpful. It does get busy during the summer so patience is a must! They also have delivery option.

Simply The Best. How does this not have 5 stars? Beach Pizza is the only place to go for pizza in Manhattan Beach or anywhere near it. Get the Manhattan Man.

I didn’t even order from this place because the girl that answered the phone was extremely rude and sassy. I called and asked a simple question,“Hi do you deliver to el Segundo?” She asked the address which I assumed she was checking the distance and then asked for my name. I commented,“I’ve never ordered from you before” she stated,” well of course you haven’t ordered I know that” and continuing to ask for more of my information. I told her,“I’m not ready to order I was calling to check if you delivered first.” She said,” you’re not ready to order… giiiiirrrl!” I couldn’t believe the demeanor and attitude through the phone. No way would I give this company my business with an employee that has no sense of customer service.

Without a doubt the best pizza I have ever had. My husband and I moved to north MB6 months ago and Beach Pizza quickly became our go to. We always get pepperoni, mushrooms and garlic. The fresh garlic MAKES the pizza. It is so so good. We also order the veggie chopped salad every now and then and that’s great too! Beach Pizza is the best and we will be back… Probably weekly!

Favorite pizza in Manhattan beach! I like to try a different pie every time I go. The large is only a couple dollars more than the medium sized pie. I love the thin crust and great cheese-to-sauce ratio!

The ad from BEACH Pizza was in my mailbox, I’m relatively new to Manhattan beach(2years). Read a couple of reviews of the place…(some positive — most mediocre) — bottom line — they delivered — and I didn’t have time to pick something up… SOOOO… I decided to take a risk. I ordered a ‘scampi’(shrimp) pizza from this place. This pizza was so bad(in my opinion), that I thought it might just be me. The crust was bready… and flavorless… no crisp at all. The shrimp and sauce tasted as if they were stale and possibly unrefrigerated for several hours… for my tastes — it was terrible! Hours after the fact I thought I would be sick. while I cannot specifically blame the pizza — the timing was interesting. I decided to have a real aficionado — My 80 year old mom try a piece. Keep in mind she LOVES pizza… her review? «That pizza was the WORST pizza I’ve EVER had… It was TERRIBLE! It was so bad, I still have a bad taste in my mouth from last night… Granted — this business appears to be an institution in the area. That said, this place is not for me.

Meh. This was once, merely a couple of years ago — one of the best Pizza places in town. It was the home of hot, thin, crispy yet chewy dough, just perfectly prepared wood oven pizza. Now its the home of cold, wrong and takes long. More akin to Dominos or Pizza Hut. You ask for light sauce, it comes heavy. You ask for thin crust, you get thick. They are pretty thin the portions, take over an hour to deliver cold pizza and the prices are not cheap. Its got so bad you contemplate calling a franchise, which for MB… Yes. That bad. Sad thing is, this was only a short while ago an El Porto institution and Manhattan Beach gem the locals treasured. Not any more.

I’ve been ordering from beach pizza for well over 10 years. The pizza is probably the best in the South Bay and the service is outstanding. Unfortunately I had time to wait for a pickup order tonight and witnessed the owner(Larry) speaking to his staff in a manner that was so unprofessional that it made multiple customers and I extremely uncomfortable. When I confronted him he proved himself to be more disrespectful than I had initially though! It’s unfortunate that this day and age the need for a job is more important than being treated with respect. His employees are nothing short of rad with a hustle that is very rare and deserve to be treated accordingly. That is not what I saw by any stretch.

They are open until eleven but won’t deliver at 10:40. Bummer. Kinda sucks. Happy though that they have gluten free pizza in medium size only.

It’s official! This is the best pizza spot in all of South Bay. I’ve tried around town and can firmly say this is the best one! It’s not the best I’ve had compared to Italy and NYC, but this will surely do to satisfy a pizza craving. The crust has a greasy flavor, their pepperoni is original, and their meatballs are absolutely delicious. They have a little secret carrying sea salt cookies brought in from the Cake Bakeshop next door. So if you’re in the area and craving pizza this is your spot. xoxo

We happened to be in town for Valentine’s Day and since we wanted to avoid any of the madness, we opted for a pizza parlor dinner at Beach Pizza. It was absolutely perfect! Pizza, salad, and a pitcher of beer. The food, service, ambiance, price, etc. was ideal. It reminded me of the old school pizza parlors from my youth(just on the smaller side and no video games) — but the same feel. It was exactly what we wanted and I wish we had the same in our neighborhood. It was so good, I can see us going there just for dinner some night.
