Great wings but was served a large cheese pizza with half of it cold and the other half burned.

This is a review not of the food but rather the sales people’s attitude and professionalism. I’ve been here before and gotten attitude from the staff. This time though I felt I had to comment. A woman ran in and tried to buy a soda for someone who was going into diabetic shock. She only had a credit card. The young blonde woman at the counter pointed to the $ 10 min credit card sign. After again mentioning the whole diabetic shock thing elicited no sympathy the woman paid $ 10 for a soda. Really. An ambulance roared by ten minutes later. It’ll be hard for me to come back here.

I don’t know where these other people have been going, but this place is the bomb. Favorite pizza place in LA for sure. Hits the spot every time. I am constantly craving MB pizzeria. My personal favorite is cheese. Can’t go wrong. I also love the Hawaiian. It’s also right on the beach, perfect for after surfing/beach day. You can order by the slice, but I always get a whole pizza because it’s THATGOOD. This is my first Unilocal review because I feel that strongly about MB pizza.

I visited here while I was in town for training. This pizza is New York style and was pretty good. I think the location is second to none, overlooking the strand and beach. Not the best pizza I’ve had but not bad either. I had a slice of pepperoni pizza. I will probably give this place one more shot because it’s inexpensive compared to other food establishments in the area.

Love this place! The pizza and the wings are great! And it’s a awesome place to just eat, have a drink and watch a game. All the people that work there are really polite and give great service.

My experience was a four with the pizza. Simple cheese slice, pretty hard to eff up. Decent, cheesy, saucey, crispy on the edges, thin crust a la New York style. Hard to find this side of the left coast. Now, the service I had tonight was extremely friendly. Teenagers with lots of energy, probably fizzy from drinking sodas. Haha. Singing, dancing, saying hello to everyone. Felt good to be there. Typical pizza place energy, equipped with televisions to watch the game, with tables set up to have beers and whatnot, not fancy etc. Also, they probably have the best location on earth! Grab a slice right before you head onto the pier!

Called at 4 for a delivery order they did not take it because they didn’t have delivery trucks available until after 5pm –_–(me being a few blocks away) anyway called back after 5 and the guy taking my order was not the nicest but what it really comes down to is the food. I ordered a small Caesar salad and boneless chicken wings which came out to over $ 16 + tip !!! FOR4 chicken strips that looked like they were frozen and microwaved!!! And a handful of lettuce with soggy croutons!!! I wished I wouldn’t have called back to order it was money not well spent. Should have definitely paid attention to all the other 1 star reviews this place already has!

Place is the must have pit stop before going out to the bar and it’s always a lively fun place. Pizza is awesome and can’t find better ny style around

Worst Chicken Parmesan sandwich I’ve ever been unable to eat. I ordered at 10:00 on a Saturday night and it had a weird crunchy texture and no flavor aside from all the raw garlic in the nasty sauce. I think the chicken was either still partially frozen or so badly freezer burnt it had morphed into a cutlet shaped meat rock. This is a terrible version of a NY pizzeria. I took a second bite of the hero, just to make sure a frozen French fry hadn’t fallen in or maybe a piece of packing material but no, the entire sandwich was like that so I tossed it straight in the trash! Still taste that nasty garlic 8 hours later too! From just two bites!

Would come here multiple times a week back in high school(mostly to use their quarter machine) and even now ALWAYS make a pitstop here before heading out to the sand. Nothing’s changed except price but that’s understandable. I only get pepperoni or cheese pizza and garlic knots. Can’t go wrong! Garlic knots could be more garlicky but they’re still good(and comes with marinara sauce! Most places charge extra for it). The pizza is greasy goodness –maybe twice in the 80+ times I’ve had their pizza has it been a little crispy. I currently live in Manhattan and have tasted many pizzerias in NYC but still crave this place when I come to the beach for a visit home. If you complain about the price here try finding a delicious yet fast/cheap place in NYC, very hard to come by. Loyal customer for the past 12 years! Don’t ever leave

Ordered the lunch special which included a soda, salad, and slice of either cheese or pepperoni pizza for around $ 6 Service was slow to get out the pizza which had already been made earlier that day. Thin crust with minimal sauce and cheese. I could not help but notice everything from the pizza sauce to the olives were from a can. My favorite part of the meal was the salad. It came with olives, artichoke hearts, garbanzo beans, onions, tomatoes, and olives. Which was a pleasant surprise. Manhattan Pizzeria has a great location the beach, which is why we went here, but I would probably not come back, and look for another place near by.

Whoa! What happened? The prices skyrocketed. I understand inflation and so fourth but this is ridiculous. Their wings are amazing! They used to a dozen for $ 8. Now 10 for $ 9.75. That’s not too bad considering the hot wings are great! But $ 5 for fries? The surrounding upscale bistros dont even charge that. They’re not even special fries. They are just regular ol’ frozen shoe string fries. $ 5? Ridiculous!

This place is the one main pizza memory I have of summertime at the beach; after a long day of running around in the sun, my friends and I always climb the hill up to the Manhattan Pizzeria spot, order a few pizzas and a pitcher of beer, and sit down to eat and relax. It’s in the perfect position to get away from setting sun because it faces away from it, and although it is tiny and sometimes difficult to walk into(lots of foot traffic on the sidewalk), there is usually seating in the back. Pizza is pretty good, garlic knots are delicious, and everything gets out to you pretty quickly. Everyone here has always been really nice. We definitely look forward to this summer tradition every year.

Manhattan Beach Pizzeria is located minutes from the beach just up a small hill. They have the best pizza that satisfies all your pizza craving needs — greasy, cheesy, big slices of pizza. Single slices of either pepperoni or cheese are just $ 3.50 each. I’ve walked by this pizzeria numerous times but finally had decided to give it a try a few weeks ago. I’m so glad I did! It’s perfect and hits the spot after a day of laying out. Make sure to grab some for the beach! You won’t regret it.

If you’re a New Yorker and you can’t find a proper decent slice of Pizza in LA it’s because you haven’t gone to Manhattan Pizza in Manhattan Beach! Authentic just like in the old neighborhood back home! !! No frills, no snazy décor just good old fashion New York pizza done right! Thinner crisper crust we New Yorkers expect! The Italian Ice in stock is also on point! The Philadelphian I was with said«This water ice is official» and she should know.. Philly is ruling king of water ice /italian ice.

This is a very slight dramatization of actual events… if I had a voice recorder it would have been perfect… 00:00−00:03 (me) Hi, I’d like to order a pizza. (them) What kind? (me) half cheese and half pepperoni (them) What size? (me) large please (them) what’s your phone number? (me) here’s my number … (them) ok(they look me up in the system) — you are at blah blah blah address… (me) yes! (them) see you in 30 minutes. 00:38 (me) Hi, just checking in to see what happened to the pizza (them) I told you it would be 30 – 45 minutes (me) but… you said… (them) HANGUP(dial tone) 00:50−00:51 (them) Hi, is this(butchered my name), what’s your address again? (me) Yes, this is(my real name) and I’m at blah blah blah address (them) ok I am on wrong block(HANGUP) 00:55−00:56 Ding dong! (them) here’s your pizza, sorry for the delay I hand them money and wife takes pizza to kitchen 00:57−00:58 (wife) Uh oh. You are not going to be happy… (me) Why? (wife) You will see… I walk over with plate and she quickly goes to the other room… (me) It’s ice cold! What the…(expletive)… So that is the service and how they treat their local customer base. Zero stars. Now on to the food review. It’s been a while since we ordered pizza from Manhattan Pizza. The reason why? It’s been going downhill while other venues have improved. After the pizza was reheated, here was the story. Topping was ok(can do much hard to pepperoni). Cheese was bland(likely low fat mozzarella), sauce was ok, crust was nice and thin but non-descript. Overall food experience — 2 stars, even worse than the last time we tried a pie from this place. Yeah — not going back no matter how desperate the munchies. Lots of better local places to try in the MB area.

Pizza meets Led Zeppelin! Five stars for excellent & rocking pizza, super friendly service and owner, plus a local authentic funky beach vibe! This is not a fufu«gourmet» pizza place and it’s refreshing for a change.

Due to time constraints… the sis and I stopped by for a quick bite before heading back to LAX. Didn’t really expect anything so just keep that in mind :) Cheese pizza was okay… oily like I expected but definitely fit the bill for that«quick» bite mode. Just be sure to not get oil into your shirt(speaking from experience here!) Cheap and quick…

Cheapest restaurant we found by Manhattan Beach pier that offers delicious handmade thin crust pizzas, subs, salads and etc. Grab a slice of their thin crust pizza and enjoy it at the beach. That’s what we did. I had a huge slice of cheese pizza for $ 3.50. It was very simple yet delicious. It has the right amount of sauce and cheese. It had a hint of sweetness from the sauce or cheese. I really like it. Service was great. Staff were very nice to our group and made small talk. They have a pretty spacious dining area if you want to dine in. Next time I wanna try their hot wings. I heard they’re pretty dang good. I will definitely go back!
