The vegetarian nachos at this place are life changing! After you eat them, your life will be changed. They are that good! They add tons of fresh vegetables on top, sooooo good!

I’ve been to this sports bar/restaurant over a dozen times now. Pretty surprised how consistently good the food has been. I’ve tried many of the different menu items and they’ve all been legit. My favorites are the boneless buffalo wings and two of their chicken sandwiches.(Cajun and Santa Fe). An endless sea of televisions provides good viewing angles regardless of where you’re sitting. Indoor/outdoor seating options help you maximize fresh air and So Cal sun. They have live music most nights which makes this just as good of a social destination as it is a sports viewing, drinking, or eating place. The prices are a bit on the high side, but still relatively low compared to other eateries in the area. Given the location, consistency of the food, great happy hour, and awesome daily specials, I don’t mind one bit. All in all, one of my favorite beach cities establishments.

Brussel sprouts were bomb. Live band on a Monday?! Yes please!!! $ 5 mules on Mkndays. Platter with wings and fries and nachos and other crap is to be as expected… crappy. Gummy bear shot-yum! Come for the live band and booze and Brussels sprouts! Our waiter is pretty awesome too.

Not a bad place for beers, food and watching some sports. It’s a bit loud especially when there’s a big game going on, but there’s plenty of areas to sit close together with friends for a cozy hang out. They have heat lamps for the patio area so you can still eat quasi-alfresco. Close to parking structure which makes it easy to run back and feed the meter. Great place for a date if your guy is into sports! :)

Let start off by saying, the manager is training a new girl… And the manager is DRUNK! After watching her have cocktails with the already hammered bartenders and then walking to the bathroom and watching the cocktail waitress eating nachos in the hallway(DISGUSTING) and totally against health code. It’s a Steelers game, full house and full of fans. You can’t tell the serving staff from the guests because they’re all in regular clothes, one server is even in sweatsuit. Wth?! How is that even ok? The bartenders are drunk as hell and one was even in a scarf, like ok. You have a full house and you’re in scarf? Clearly you’re not doing anything behind the bar to be cold enough to have to even wear one. We finally got a table and service was great, until we moved to a bigger table(same server). We order the fish tacos and OMG. What did I order? COURTNEY was our server. First off, it didn’t come as I ordered– one plain, 2 regular. Secondly, they came wrapped in foil. The WORST presentation I have EVER seen on a dish. Terrible. Literally looked like it was just heated up then put into some foiled up triangles. No side no LIME nothing!!! WTF. After telling her it was wrong; all she did was bring the nastiest sides. I am so INCREDIBLY disappointed with this place. Specially being in Manhattan. Then we’re heading out and sweatsuit dude is sitting at one of the tables doing his closet out. Shouldn’t that be a back of the house thing? Needles to say, as someone in the industry– I will NEVER return. Ever. And will totally 100% turn everyone away from it until the serving and MANAGING staff sober up and get their —- together.

When visiting LA, this has become one of my favorite places to watch footall. Maybe I’m biased because it was one of the first places I’ve gone to watch football and havent felt the need to explore other places… or maybe they’re just that good. Shark’s Cove is a decent sized neighborhood bar/restaurant with like, twenty(20) tvs to watch all the games you possibly could at one time. They have brunch time specials(on Sundays at least, because that’s when I’ve gone). $ 4 mimosas and budlight on special as well. I went with the mimosa and can say, the champagne to orange juice ratio is in your favor. :) Ive had a burger and an order of chicken fingers before from here. Both were good but the chicken fingers have become my favorite. The order is definitely enough to share(I haven’t been able to finish an order by myseld yet). They make their fried chicken fingers with panko crumbs and they are so light and crispy… it’s delicious! The curly fries pair well with them. Shark’s draft selection isn’t as much as I would like, but they do have some Kona drafts, which I always seem to go to when I’ve lost my way, ha! *2016 Unilocal Review Challenge: 2/100*

We wanted to watch the fight at a bar nearby. Came across Shark’s cove. Food was decent, service was good. Didn’t wait too long for our order which was awesome! The ambiance was cool. Overall had a good time here.

The food was ok, but tge service really looses all credit for this place. My husband ordered the fish n fries and he dint like it, no flavor and quiet smelly. I ordered the south west chicken sandwich and that was definitely better, but it was missing something. The server kept focusing on the table next to us, and kept going by us and not even bothering to ask if we were doing well. I felt treated as a 2nd class citizen almost discrimated against. Will never go back.

The Scott Whyte band is awesome. It’s a fun, low key, no nonsense bar to enjoy with a good crew of friends. Didn’t get a chance to try the food but the drinks were reasonably priced and the staff is super friendly. I was there on New Year’s Eve and the cover charge was $ 10 which is completely fair. They weren’t gouging people like other bars in the area were.

We came here to watch the UFC Fight with Ronda Rousey vs. Holly Holmes. Oh boy what a defeat for Ronda… only if she kept tackling and grappling early on. Anyways about the food, we ordered the nachos with steak, it was good, expect large cuts of steak and a plethora of chips, salsa on a large plate to feed about 3 – 4 people, it is a little messy to eat with your hands, I preferred a fork. The atmosphere was like a sports bar, and the décor was wooden laminate looking chairs and tables everywhere very usual look. Not my particular taste but I nice beer-drinking-roudy hangout sort of thing, VERYLOUDFYI. the beer is good, we ordered stella and pacifico and for a pitcher each it came out to $ 21 each. There are literally 2 tiers of televisions all around the bar, it is quite amazing how many TV’s could be fit on your wall and in the middle of this place, it was like if TV’s were being used as Décor that is how many there were here. Some beautiful women were here tonight as well… I didn’t talk to any just being observant, plus the place was packed, not a breathable space to chat with them, and it could be they were just there for the fight. SHARK’S COVE — What does it mean? Hmm…

This is a great place to come and watch sports games, they have several tv’s for viewing even inside the sitting booths are tv’s. The food is good, the atmosphere is really nice and the service started off great and didnt end too well. The server pretty much forgot about us after me and my boyfriend agreed to move to a smaller table so that a group can sit in a booth. Smh i would give this place one more try with hopes of better service

The staff is friendly, the drinks are fine. There’s nothing outstanding about this place but nothing awful either. The one thing that keeps me from going here more often is that they frequently have live music, which isn’t a bad thing by any stretch. But it’s a tiny venue so when there’s music, you can’t even hear yourself think it’s so loud, let alone someone sitting right across from you. So I aurally head down the street for somewhere that’s not as noisy. If you just want to drink and listen to music, go here for sure. If you’re on a date or with someone you actually want to hear, I’d head somewhere else.

Met a friend of mine from the ATL here for bkfst. Was a bit Leary about the place, being that I’m a huge breakfast person & I don’t play around w/mediocre breakfast food. Well upon arrival around 11:00am that place was rather empty, so of course I’m thinking this can’t be good, but I’m going along with it because my friend chose the place. Were seated immediately, and the service was very friendly. She asked if we wanted anything to drink, & we all chose water since it was still bkfst time, then I noticed the $ 4 mimosas so we all ordered mimosas.(It’s 5 o’clock somewhere) Food came out fairly fast, and it was fresh and hot. Portions were great, shared my plate & had food to take home. Pricing was good & you can’t beat the atmosphere being that the place is a block or so from the beach., and you can sit on the front patio and people watch. This is definitely a hidden secret for those that are looking for some great breakfast & to watch the games on the wknd. They have about 50tv’s, one in every space on the wall, and some of the tables even have their own private tv’s. Would definitely recommend & will be back.

We came by Shark’s Cove here today after AVP with a group of 6 people. Nothing special here but not a bad place either, just your basic sports bar/restaurant. Our server was friendly and we were happy to get a table without having to wait on a VERY crowded and warm Manhattan Beach day. Our table had the tri tip sliders, cajun chicken sandwich, a burger of sorts, and a salad… no complaints from anyone.

We come here on occasion after our kickball games and while they are very accommodating and friendly, the food is just ok. I went for the 2 for 1 burger night last night and got the«Blue Cheese» Burger. It had a white sauce on there but zero flavor of blue cheese. I thought maybe they accidentally just poured on mayonnaise but nope. Thankfully someone ordered buffalo wings so i put some of the sauce on there for flavor. Here’s a tip, Stick with the wings(though last time there was metal from the stainless steel sponge in one of mine that I almost swallowed), the nacho’s or just the beer.

This is one of those places in MB, that if you are strolling around and want a drink without crazy waits or crowds, this is a good spot. I’ve been here for breakfast, lunch, dinner & drinks. Ambiance is loud with tvs everywhere playing sports or live local bands on select evenings. Service is solid(no issues). Drinks? I usually stuck with a beer(Shock Top on tap) or a glass of wine(Sonomo Cutrer Chardonnay or La Crema Pino Noir). Food? I like their Manhattan Beach Cobb. Typical bar food. We get the Snack Attack Combo Platter(which has a little bit of everything: buffalo bites, fries, wings, pot stickers, over nachos). Usually, if on a pub crawl, its just one of our stops. On my last visit, husband and friend kept doing Irish Car Bombs. I just watched knowing the debauchery was just beginning…

I’ve been to the Cove several times, so I’m overdue for a revue. I tend to find myself here for sporting events, they get a good size crowd, and they have a zillion monitors. This past Friday night I watched the Kings take down the Sharks in game 7, and the crowd loved it. Mind you, Sharks Cove is a notorious Kings bar, some come aware. The staff is always friendly(Holy) and they have plenty of drinks to choose from. Their weekday happy hour runs until 7pm, you can get a deal on select drinks and food. I like beer, and they have plenty of options. The food is typical bar fare, my group devoured the mixed sampler, which affords you a little of everything. There is plenty of parking, there is a multi level parking structure in the back, make sure you bring change. Cheers
